Superb

Lovely cottage for 6 adults as 4th bedroom is bunk beds ....pretty court yard outside ....well equipped pretty setting ...loads of car parking..

Weather wasnt great but owner can't fix that ...😀

Disappointed with the bathrooms

Good location, ample parking, nice lounge, dining kitchen, well decorated, good central heating

Advertised as having 3 bathrooms with shower (the reason we chose the property), but it does not. There are 2 bathrooms and an additional ground floor toilet. The wood burner doors do not close properly allowing smoke into the lounge so we could not use it. The patio has uneven stone flags which can be a trip hazard. The bathroom fans run unless you turn the electricity off using a switch located around 7'6" off the ground. When arriving in the dark some form of illumination for the outside sign would be helpful.

Beautiful and relaxing holiday cottage!

Beautiful spacious cottage in good location and easy access to walks in the Peak District. Lovely garden at front to sit and relax in and pet friendly which is always a must on our family holidays!! :-) Lovely basket of goodies to welcome us on arrival and a well equipped self catering cottage. A really lovely stay, big dining room table, great living-room area to relax in, good bedrooms and a very comfortable stay! Great location for walks around the Peak District and to explore local towns, caves, Chatsworth house, wildlife park and lots more! A really beautiful part of the country and well worth a visit! Thank you! :-)

A peaceful base for a few days away in the peaks. Clean and spacious.

Spacious, lovely bathrooms, great location

the living area sofas were uncomfortable and the dining chairs were coming apart.

The Stables was a great cottage for us to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday with family and friends. There was ample parking and plenty of room for us all, I especially liked the big fridge for all the food and drink to fit into. We used the log burner which was really lovely , but could do with some more implements such as tongs, brush and a poker to make it easier to use. The beds were all super comfy with lovely bedding and the cottage had really nice modern bathrooms. We ate over in the Moon Inn one night which we would recommend and we did some lovely walks from the cottage without having to move the cars.

lack of basics, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and cleaning cloths. Just take a few of these items with you for your stay so you are prepared

Spacious, comfortable, clean accommodation in a lovely village setting with all necessary amenities

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful location. The house was spotless and had all necessary facilities. In a great location to explore the Peak District. Communication from the hosts was first class. Will definitely be back!

Exceptional

Safe for our son to play in the yard as it was closed in away from the car park and a beautiful location

Nothing but finding the front of the property was tricky. All four drivers went around the back and got confused but soon sorted. The properties are signed Middleton cottages and we were looking for the stables

Superb

The property is in a lovely village with great walks direct from the house. The Stables was very well equipped and very comfortable and has everything you need when staying away from home. We really enjoyed our take away fish and chips from the famous fish and chip shop in the centre of the village!

Everything was great but the addition of hooks on the backs of the bedroom doors (to hang a dressing gown) would be useful.

Relaxing weekend with friends

Lovely old stables in a quite wonderful location. Immaculately clean and all in perfect working order. And a great pub within a 90 second walk. Fantastically relaxing.

Just one small thing. The house needed additional glassware and cups to cater for the number of people it is designed for.
