About this house rental
Great little family cabin, literally steps away from the tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, park playground, beautiful park, bandstand & sandy beach! This 1450sq ft , comfortable cabin sleeps 10 comfortably. Master bedroom, with king-size bed (sleeps 2), kids room with 2 bunk beds (one with a full-size mattress) sleeps 5, one full-size murphy bed upstairs in the family room (sleeps 2), one king-size murphy bed in the downstairs bedroom (sleeps 2). Two full bathrooms. The kitchen is complete with all necessary accessories. The cabin is located directly across the street from recreation area 1, which is the most desirable location. Large back deck equipped with bbq and large picnic table. Another picnic table is located on the front deck for lots of outside dining.
Equipped with wi-fi, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, garbage compactor, microwave. There is NO A/C at the cabin as the weather stays mostly mild during the day and cool in the evenings. There are ceiling fans and portable oscillating fans in all the rooms if needed.
No parties! Be respectful of our neighbors and the 10pm quiet time. You will be charged for extra cleaning if you throw a party that requires cleaning above and beyond what is nor mal. You will also be told to leave by security (with NO REFUND), if you make excessive noise or are a nuisance or disrespectful to our cabin. There is one camera located on the front door of the cabin for the security and protection of our cabin.
I highly recommend spending Saturday & Sunday nights, as it is the perfect location for the Saturday or Sunday night concerts (concert days vary). You can enjoy the concert from the front deck of the cabin or we prefer to take our blankets, chairs and a small plastic table to the grass. Then we bring our dessert and wine and enjoy the music and dancing!
Parking is available in front of the cabin, including room for your boat in the front driveway.

This cabin is in the perfect location for whatever you choose to do! Your kids can play at the park, play tennis, play basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, or pickleball while you sit on the front porch and watch them. **Lake Almanor Country Club charges an 'Occupancy fee' of $120.00 per stay. There is also a fee for bringing a boat (if applicable). The boat fee is for use of the loading ramp and parking privileges by the docks. The boat fee is $100 for your entire stay. The occupancy fee (and boat fee if applicable) will need to be paid by check or credit card to LACC with your registration form two weeks prior to your arrival. The LACC registration form will be emailed to you once your booking is complete. PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE NOT OUR FEES. These are IN ADDITION to the rental fees and charged by LACC. This place was amazing. The house was set up great for beds for my whole family and eating dinners on the porch was great, but the location of the house was the best part. Just a few steps away from Rec 1 tennis, pickle ball, & volleyball courts. 1 min walk to the beach (Rec 1) and docs and the private beach was an azing place for my kids to swim and play without having to worry about boats.

This house is a great location...right across the road is access to all of the games (bocci, pickleball, tennis, basketball, etc.). Also walking distance to the beach area and quick access to the boat launch. Plenty of room for 8-10 people.

Was wonderful
I would very much highly recommend this place. Was even better then I pictured. She got us in early. My grandparents, my parent and my brother and his wife stayed at property and they had a great time. I saw a earlier comment when I was looking for a place and they said something about carpet being dirty. I didn’t see that at all. I was very very happy with this place. My in-laws also have a place on Almanor on the lake so I am very familiar with the country club. If you like to be close to everything. This is the place. We will definitely use it again.

Wonderful for Family!
This was a wonderful home AND location for a family stay! The porch was our gathering place for coffee each morning. All the fun family activities were only steps away...basketball, frisbee, tennis, walks and bike rides to the water. The kitchen was fully stocked and the leave-day instructions from the owners were helpful and clear. Samantha was great and it was a pleasure to work with her!

Great location but less than great amenities
Lovely location for families with kids. Home was comfortable but the interior felt cramped and shoddy. Towels, cutlery, sheets, etc were all very low end; carpet and throw rugs were stained and appeared dirty particularly on stairs. Overwhelmed by cabin kitsch-decorative items could be hazardous to very small children; and owners pics of grandkids seemed out of place (but very cute!).

Great Cabin - Close to Lake Access!
Excellent cabin for family get-away! Location excellent, amenities good. Super close to Rec Area 1 for beach access to lake and a dock for boats (short-term use only, no overnight docking). Plenty of sleeping space for a good group. Kitchen has nearly everything you might need. Worth mentioning, if you're not wanting to disconnect from your devices: there is WiFi is but only really works reliably on one side of the house, and outside on the back porch is best (seems the internet connection may reside in the detached garage/living quarters that are behind the main house, which is off-limits to renters). And FYI: if you have AT&T or Verizon cell service, both are a bit sketchy at the cabin, but great out on the water.
Would stay here again if we visit Lake Almanor in the future!

We absolutely cannot say enough about this rental. We’ve been going to Lake Almanor every summer for the last five years and this is the best location/House. Very family/kid friendly. The owners are always very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend. We will continue our yearly family tradition at this property. 😊

Location!
Easy walk to Rec.1 lake and facilities! Perfect location! We could park and stay put for a week of fun! No AC, but plenty of shade and fans for the upstairs rooms. Cozy and had everything we needed for a fun filled week! This property is right in the middle of everything and fun. If you want to go to bed early and sleep in, a different location may be better for you. Luckily ours boys loved every minute of it. Perfect vacation home away from home!

We had 9 people staying in the home and it was very comfortable. We love LACC’s Rec1, so the location is perfect. The large deck and picinic table in the rear was perfect for all 9 of us to have meals together and the older persons in our group enjoyed sitting in the shade of the front porch “people watching”. A great time was had by all.

darling place and so close to beach. The only problem was that the front gate didnt have a record of us staying, all paperwork was sent in about a month in advance...took awhile but finally got it straightened out

Amazing deal for home & location
This couldn't have been a more ideal location to stay at on Lake Almanor with kids! Right across the street is a large park area with "loaner" equipment for lots of games: bocce ball, croquet, pickle ball, basketball, bad mitten, etc. Any you are only steps away from a beachy swim area. We loved the cozy home. It was a great amount of space for 4 adults and 5 kids, with all the kids loving the bunk beds and games. The home is very well kept and the owners did an excellent job communicating.

Good times
My family absolutely loves lake almanor and the house. We have rented that property many times and really enjoyed it. The only downfall this year was the front tennis court being locked and all having restricted times and then the fire pit on the beach was locked. Other than that it was a really nice get away.

We had so much fun. The house is in a great position and has everything you could want. The kids and grandkids had a great time. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay. The only thing was checkout time was 10am not noon like the add said so if it still says noon then double check it.

The location of the cabin is perfect with the Rec 1 area directly across the street. Even with boaters using the boat ramp down the street I still felt peace and serenity. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable home with everything you need. I would go back in a heartbeat and the owner was responsive and very easy to communicate with.

Great location for a family easy access to rec 1 playground and beach. Being able to walk across the street and watch the concert in the park was awesome. House was very clean and well maintained. Set up for a large family or multiple families sharing. I would definatle stay there again
