quiet, comfortable, clean and new

Newly renovated so really clean and in good order. Bathroom had great heaters; water was hot. Room was a little small but very comfortable. The host helped us find what we wanted. Microwave was handy. Easy cool weather walk into town; might seem a bit far if hot. Very quiet.

Welcoming and warm

It was beautifully looked after. The outside seating areas were fantastic and spacious. Inside was lovely and inviting. Warm and beautifully decorated. Owners were amazing Told us about a walk close and other attractions

I felt very safe and secure. I loved the gardens and the outdoor settings . I loved the outdoor space; especially with my husband in a wheelchair; he enjoyed his time in his space.

The smoking area is always too close; the smell always lingers.

I would book there again, was happy with the room.

Easy to get to and close to the main street, friendly staff and modern room.

Bed and pillow was a little uncomfortable compared to my own bed.

I would definitely stay again.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the fact they came in the 1st morning and made the bed; changed the rubbish liners; restocked the fridge, tea and coffee sachets; replaced the show gel and washed the cups and cutlery we had used. I was so nice to get back from our 7kl morning walk to a lovely room. The 2nd morning we received a very well cooked and presented breakfast. Couldn't ask for more.

Nothing, It was great value for money and I would definitely stay again.

Comfortable, clean and modern - the perfect stay.

Great location with covered parking. The place was spotless and really well kitted out. The garden was an added bonus for my child to run around in.

An absolutely great mini break. Loved the location and people we came in contact with.

The breakfast was excellent and the owners went out of their way to accommodate our requests. Location very near for all activities and outings. On hand to answer any queries.

We had no dislikes as we were out all day and returned late afternoons. Well equipped kitchen facilities with quality cutlery and tableware. Shower and beds were fantastic. Owners gave us recommendations for dining out and activities.

Overall a nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. Minor improvements would've made it exceptional

New condition of motel and the rooms were very clean, comparable to 5 star hotel standard and were equipped with air con/heating and TV in bedrooms and living room. Bed sheets were new and duck down quilts were very warm for winter conditions. Bath amenities provided shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Nespresso coffee capsules provided with machine and fresh milk. A mini kitchenette and microwave suitable for some basic cooking.

The size of motel was smaller than expected compared to website photos but was still suitable for accommodation. The worst thing was the lack of wifi signal in the apartment 1 next to the main road. I asked the motel about this but they said it was due to weather however this wasn't the issue as I can connect to the wifi signal when stepping outside the front door of the unit. The other issue was the bathroom sink drainage was choked and the drainage was very slow. Minor gripe is the dish washing liquid wasn't refilled so there wasn't enough to wash the plates. The kitchen stools are too high so it wasn't very comfortable for eating at the table.

The Granite Belt Motel was all that we could ask for to ensure we enjoyed our short stay in Stanthorpe.

Ultra clean and newly refurbished room made sure that we were very comfy for our overnight stay in Stanthorpe. Brekky was yummy and delivered piping hot to our room the next morning by our very friendly host.
