Middle of the night they checked us out on our first night and we had strange people opening our door while we were asleep. Which was terrifying. Our room was NOT Cleaned when we checked in so our “new room” was supposed to be ready but either was was dirty. Floors sticky and dirty.

The rooms where big. It’s nice to have a functional kitchen area. it was quite.

The laundry area floor was dirty so was the elevator. It smelled of weed in the front office. Other then that I liked it.

The beds weren’t as comfy as I’d like it to be. I woke up after such a long night at work with an aching body.

I did not like the uncommon bed nor did I like the pillows

smelled like bug spray in the rooms and cigarettes.. wouldn’t stay again. people were intoxicated coming down to the lobby constantly

I was booked into Wood Spring Suites in Texas City, Texas on 12/28/2022---01/02/2023. The greeting staff had a rather hostile presentation from the start. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Due to the weather conditions, I needed to extend my stay by one day. I spoke to a trainee at the front desk and was told yes. He did have difficulty performing the task and mentioned he "never could get help." I was printed out my updated stay with a new departure date of 1/3/2023. I saw and error on the statement where money was not withdrawn from my account and relayed that I would contact booking.com, who I originally booked the stay with. I did so also spoke to the Front Desk and was told there were no problems and there would be no change of room. The funds were withdrawn from my account on 1/1/2023. On 1/2/2023 before 11:00am my key card would not work and I went to the front desk, but there was no-one there. Five minutes later a staff member approached me in the hall, asked what room I was in and said I had to leave. I explained that I had booked another day but he said I had not, regardless of the documentation I had showing I had and that it had been paid for. I was locked out of my room, police were called while I was not present and management removed my belongings from my room and I was evicted. As of 1/6/2023 I have yet to be refunded for the extra night I paid for.

The room had full size fridge microwave and two burner stove top which is a must when doing an extended stay. The property at night is so quiet and still, despite being right off 45. I haven't seen my entire stay more than 3-5 ppl while coming to and from room, despite being completely booked up. Laundry is open 24 which I love because set hours seems to draw large crowds and machine availability next to none despite the time. All laundry machines (dry & wash) have multiple payment options. They accept quarters, swipe to pay, tap to pay (w/digital card on phone or physical card), or chip insert. Anything you run out off during your stay the front desk will provide toilet paper, daily fresh towels and bedding, change for laundry all you gotta do is ask 😄

The key cards are done what sensitive, meaning keeping them in same pocket as a phone seems to make them slightly hiccup. Randomly threw the day I'd step out back door to smoke a cigarette, but more than once I'd have trouble with reader detecting my key card first time, second time, etc.

We didn't have toilet paper in our room

Front desk clerk David was a huge help and provided the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. He was extremely professional and was exceptional in performing his duties.

The rooms were a bit small but who really can complain for the price.
