"This little cabin had all the touches to feel like home - from a well stocked kitchen, to beach towels, to chairs in many places outdoors, it felt well thought out and very easy to enjoy. The location is ideal for exploring West Glacier but also is very close to Columbia Falls for services and restaurants. It’s the perfect place to start and end the day! Cabin itself is small but has everything you need. Bed is comfy, water is hot, and everything is clean. We took the boat out but mostly enjoyed watching the loon from the dock. Neighbors are quiet. Thanks for sharing your space…. Definitely recommend!"
''The wildlife has been something to behold! Seven Black Bears, two Mountain Goats, Deer and the majestic beauty of the Loons! We will never forget.'' Carl & Lola

The cabin was amazing!!! We couldn’t believe how much stuff there was here for us in the cabin. Would love to come back here for sure!! The loons were so pretty to listen to in the morning. Thank you for everything! Very Beautiful!

Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us! We are a family of 5 (2 teens and a 12 year old). The cabin was perfect. We spent time both in the park (mostly West side) and here on the lake. The kids loved to swim and paddle around the lake! We saw one of the loons floating along from the porch one day! Going to the sun Road was open, and we loved it! We were above to hike Avalanche Lake, visit Lake McDonald and stop at many of the spectacular falls and vistas along the way. We hiked on snow packed ground in our shorts and T shirts at Logan’s Pass. There were people sledding, skiing and building snowmen. Some who were in flip flops or sandals were regretting it, though. The weather has been beautiful (75-85 degrees) and no rain. We are headed to the East side today to stay at a cabin. We hope to visit Two Medicine, Many Glacier, and St. Mary’s. Thank you again!

We had a great time here at the cabin. We were impressed at how well stocked the cabin was. Even bear spray! Wow! The loons were great fun to watch and the kids loved the rowboat. It was wonderful to have a comfy place to come to after a rainy hike. We didn’t see much wildlife on this trip. There was a bald eagle flyover at Lake McDonald, a few other birds, but not much else. I was impressed that you had filed guides and binoculars. This was such a calm, peaceful place. We didn’t want to leave.

''I love this place! The lake is so peaceful and good fishing too! It took a while to find the spot but we found it and caught a mess of fish (5 Trout, 1 Bass, and more Perch and Sunfish than I can count). It's beautiful on the lake and I hope I can visit again someday when I have kids.'' Alan G.
''We experienced abundant wildlife at the lake: Loons, Mallards, Hares, Osprey, and Hummingbirds. The family of Loons greeted us every morning. We can only hope that your stay in Montana is as memorable and spiritual as ours has been. We are saddened as we pack our belongings because this is truly God's country.'' Sincerely Travis & Katie

We truly enjoyed our stay in this remote, quaint cabin on Spoon Lake. We loved waking up to the Loons on the lake. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see them as hard as we tried. It is perfectly located right before the glacier national park. If we had stayed longer, we would have taken vantage of the row boat and the fishing gear.
Thanks for sharing your home.

Had a great time. We never left once we checked in. Everything we wanted was right there. The kids caught fish. We enjoyed the row boat and relaxed. There were neighboring cabins but everyone was there for the same reason and it was very relaxing.

My husband and I loved the cabin on the lake. The location was perfect and only a short drive to Glacier National park. After a day in the park, it was so nice to return to the quiet and peace of the cabin and lake.

This cabin was perfect for a small family getaway to Glacier NP and the surround. The lake is wonderful for swimming, using the provided rowboat or just enjoying from the dock.
The cabin contains everything you will need though, while there is a stove-top, microwave and grill, note that the kitchen does not have an oven. The loft is great but would definitely describe the access as a ladder more than stairs.
Overall, a fantastic place and 10/10 would stay again.

We spent a week exploring Glacier NP with the cabin as our home base. It provided a great place to rest after long days hiking. We brought a paddle board to explore the lake and (from a safe distance for all) saw a mama moose swimming with her calf. Just magical!

This was the perfect stay foe our boys. They enjoyed catching perch and bass on the lake. We loved waking up and having coffee on the small.porch! Great location for Glacier exploring!

The cabin was utterly charming, and the lake was serene. It was just what we needed for a quiet getaway. Perhaps what I loved most (beside the loons!) was how remote it felt, yet how close it was to Whitefish and West Glacier. This is a great spot for a romantic weekend, or some restorative time away with family to key down and enjoy.

5 stars! Owners, cleaners and neighbors are fabulous! Highly recommend the property if you have a small family or couple. Thank you for a wonderful time! :)

My husband and I came to spend our honeymoon here. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The dock was our favorite spot and we really appreciated having the paddle boat to utilize. We would 100% come back and stay. It was just us 2 this time around but I definitely recommend for a family as well.

Our first time to Montana was great and we loved the location.

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing vacation. The view was gorgeous, the cabin cozy and the lake stunning. We enjoyed fishing and drinking wine on the dock after long days of hiking in glacier. Thanks so much

Great place to disconnect and explore nature! Clean cozy cabin with Great Lake and dock to fish.

My husband and I stayed in this cozy cabin tucked in the woods while hiking daily in Glacier National Park. The location was perfect for accessing the west entrance to Glacier. It also sits on lovely Spoon Lake which we enjoyed gazing at during sunset and sunrise. We stayed an extra day so we could explore Columbia Falls and Whitefish. The cabin is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. It was very clean, well heated with the gas stove and quiet. The owners were extremely helpful and communicative, providing helpful information about navigating GNP. We really enjoyed our stay here. Robin M.

To lay on the dock, and hear the whir of dragonfly wings in the day, and then soft whoosh of a jet 30,000 feet up at night in the star-filled sky - it just doesn't get better or quieter than that. Hopefully, you will have the same blissful quiet I had on my weekend. The toughest decision is where to do nothing - the hammock, the dock, the porch? All of life should be made up of such quandaries. Fair warning, the ladder to the loft bedroom is, um, challenging, especially on the way down. But if you can conquer that, the world is your Spoon Lake oyster. Enjoy!

We enjoyed our stay immensely in this little cabin. It was very clean and well furnished. The lake and dock are just lovely. We fished from the dock, relaxed in the hammock and took the rowboat out on the lake. Gas grill is a plus. My only warning is…the steps up to the bedroom area in the loft are quite steep! Overall, a very nice small cabin to stay in. Very close to West Gacier entrance to the park.

We had a relaxing time on the lake for a few days. Place is well kept and is close to the park for day trips.

Nice spot for day trips to Glacier, very cozy little spot on a quiet lake. Appreciated the amenities and grill. We did lose power for half a day after a storm, it was nice that they included tips on how to handle this. Wi-Fi provided by the neighbor whom we met and was very nice. The rowboat and dock were a family favorite as well

This was my second time staying at this property and I’m so glad I did. This cabin is very cozy, and in short distance to everything. Will definitely be coming back here.

The space is beautiful. We loved sitting on the hammock and dock. The location is great and stargazing was awesome. However the air conditioning is just a window unit in the loft area, so it was really hot in the living space until late at night, even with the windows open. We visited on one of the hottest weeks so it’s likely cooler other times of the year.

Great location for our visit to Glacier National Park. We enjoyed the relaxation of the lake and the loons. Our boys loved fishing and caught a ton of perch of the dock and on the row boat. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Very small and basic, but has absolutely everything needed. Lake is a huge bonus. Caught plenty of fish from pier. Location is 10/10.

This little cabin on the lake is perfect! It is a convenient location for exploring Glacier National Park. We had a morning row on the lake and were lucky enough to see the loons. One day of our trip was stormy, but we still had a lovely time reading by the fire and listening to the rain on the roof. The details were charming. We appreciated using the binoculars during our stay as well.

Cabin was in beautiful spot right on the lake with unparalleled views from the living room but my sister and I like a lot of space and cabin essentially had just one room, a loft and a small bathroom downstairs. Cabin was tastefully furnished and peaceful and quiet at night. I slept well on a comfortable bed in the loft. Cabin is nice for a couple, but felt a little small and cramped for us and would probably opt for a larger property next vacation. If you’re looking for small but cozy cabin right on the lake and solitude, you will love this property.

What a delight it was staying at this well-appointed cabin in the woods. The owners had everything you would need for a fun-filled, or quiet stay. It was an excellent location for seeing Glacier National Park. And it came with the added bonus of a lake, rowboat and fishing poles and tackle. Thank you for your warm hospitality and lovely cabin in the woods!
