Everything about the stay was awesome. Simply amazing

Check in was easy and the hosts were very easy to communicate with. We loved the area.

We are a family of 6 adults, 3 couples and one 16 yr.old grandson. All 4 units had a bedroom. We have stayed in many beautiful condos. This was our first house vacation. The layout of rooms was convenient. We ate inside at the dining table and sometimes out side on the lanai. The lanai outside had a sofa and someone was usually on it reading or computing. The kitchen had every convenience as far as utensils, pots and pans and dishes. We cooked most of our meals and used the microwave, range top, oven and the outdoor grill. Grocery shopping was convenient.
We used the pool and hot tub almost every day. Very quiet and just a few steps from our unit. A little difficult to have only one key to the area and it took cell phone communication to get people into the pool. We were very satisfied with the information supplied to us and never questioned anything. People had left some supplies and we did as well. Very nice. We had a wonderful time and pleased with our first foray into renting a home.

We LOVED staying at Ohana Treasure. The house was perfect for our group. Clean, comfortable beds and linens, plenty of towels. They provided laundry soap which was a great surprise! Plenty of room for entertaining. We traveled with 17 family members and rented 3 properties in this neighborhood, and Paradise was great for us all.

We came with all 19 of us, children and grandchildren, and rented two homes. It was absolutely awesome! Both homes are the same floor plan, very family friendly, and just a four minute walk between them! The homes are so well prepared, portable cribs, high chairs, cookware, spices, the sand castle villa Even has a motorized spit on the grill to roast pineapple (it was delicious)! We found out on our first day, a Sunday, that the washing machine wasn’t working, so I texted the management company, and they sent someone out that day. They said the machine couldn’t be fixed, and said they would replace it asap and in the meantime asked if we needed access to an empty property to use theirs. The washer was replaced the next morning. The management company responded quickly to every question or request. The grounds are beautiful, the pools are great, the mauna lani beach is perfect for the little kids, and awesome for snorkelers-we saw sharks, eels, octopus…it was really some of the best and easiest snorkeling I’ve done in Hawaii! And for the bigger kids, Hapuna beach is perfect for boogie boarding and body surfing! Close to shops and car from crowds and downtown! We’re already figuring out when we can come back, and we will 100% be booking these homes again!

Family vacations are not new to us. We ( my 3 adult children, their children and my husband and I ) have spent many seasonal all over. The first impression of the environment was quite a surprise we all had a tremendous respect for the resilience of Hawai’i ´s residents.: So much Lava and desolation. Arriving at our rented home was a great joy. The neighborhood , the luxurious nature was stunning. Walking through the front door well to put it mildly: superb❣️❣️ Spacious, and so practical. Kitchen offered all the modern commodities. Miissing dishwashing rags and dish towels. The pantry had a dreadful smell!!! I found the culprit: a frying basket that was not deep cleaned. Had to leave it outside I washed shelves and put dryer sheets to bring down the smell. I would suggest a deep clean of cabinets we found some roaches and a scorpion, in the bunker room. They were not a determent we are just informing you. One cannot live in a Tropical environment and not have little critters. Just specify that food residue on cooking tools and cupboards will attract bugs. On an other subject:we bought Clorox for the bedding and white towels, they should disinfected The floors: marble has to be washed with a mix of a low PH : bicarbonate 2 teaspoons and a drop of dishwashing soap. Will keep the shine. Changing the water per rooms We all took great care to maintain the home’s beautiful look. The pantry is fuller. A complimentary gift to the next client The fridge too. We had a wonderful time visiting the Island from beaches to restaurants and all the popular national parks. We even had a Rhum tasting! We must not forget the gracious and accommodating personnel❣️❣️ Koodos to all Mahalo. Each of us will highly recommend taking a trip and stay at your Resort. Lastly. The garage was useful, for beach things. We couldn’t park either vehicle because another truck was in it. With this a close my review Claudia, Manuel, Jeremie, Alexandre, Christine, Julien, Lily Rose, Amélia René and I, wish you well and safe tomorrows. Mahalo

Beyond expectations, we had an amazing holiday with this as our home base. The home was stunning. Check in was wonderfully easy. The home was supplied with anything a traveller
Might need for basics. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great location, close to the pool and shopping.
Very modern and comfortable. We liked the fact we could use the beach toys, surf boards, cooler and other swim equipment. The local beach was very nice and the nearby pool was so big we thought we were the only ones there. We enjoyed the size and location of this beautiful home, in a gated community.

Beautiful Property
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Ohana Treasure. It had ample room for our family and the featured amenities were many and exactly as described. We really appreciated and enjoyed access to the pool and beach club. The Mauna Lani resort area is a wonderful vacation spot. One of the most highly rated beaches in Hawaii, Hapuna Beach was just a short 5 min drive. This is a place we would return to again when visiting Kona.

Amazing amazing staycation!
The reservation process went smoothly. Management was very responsive to all the questions and concerns I had. The house was exactly as pictured. There was 10 of us; 7 adults and 3 children, and there was lots of space for all of us. There was lots of gear in the garage for use which made the stay extra fun. The neighborhood was well manicured and pleasant. All in all the description of the property was spot on. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Birthday Staycation
We escaped our rainy town to spend my daughter’s 7th birthday here. The condo was a really good size that accommodated my family of 10 very comfortably. The rooms were spread out throughout the condo and each room had its own bathroom. The kitchen and living room were very spacious and the outdoor deck with the grill was a big plus! The condo was located right across the pool which was very convenient, especially for my 70 year old grandma and myself, hauling baby gear to and from for my 6 month old. The condo even came equipped with a high chair and playpen (crib sheet included) readily set up for my baby which was really nice! Whoever is contracted to clean the condo didn’t do the greatest job though, when we checked in we could feel that the floor was not clean and after walking around the condo all day the under of our feet were black. The countertops also needed to be wiped clean.
The only complaint I’d have would be the neighbors who are residents. Not friendly at all! We even greeted them and no reply/no gesture. They even took pictures of us unloading our cars as we had to stop on the road to quickly unload our luggage before parking in the garage, which was a bit tiny for our large SUV (parking alongside the road is against the rules). We felt a little harassed by the residents of the community. One lady even took time to come to the pool and take pictures of my party (10 including my infant) and another family. The condo we booked slept 10 and all members of my party at the pool were registered under our reservation.

5 Stars for Ohana Treasure
By far our favourite home stay experience. The home is very well appointed and was extremely comfortable for our group of 6. We could have easily accommodated up to 10 people and would have still felt very comfortable.
We appreciated the proximity to the community pool/fitness area and all the amenities the home offered, especially the bikes and beach gear.
The communication was always fast, clear and friendly. We started missing the Ohana Treasure as soon as we checked out. Hope to return again one day.

What a great property and location in a quiet gated neighborhood with awesome facilities. We had a very pleasant stay here and would love to go back if we get a chance.

Ohana Means Family!
We chose this home because there were 9 of us making this trip to Hawaii. We couldn't have picked a better home to stay. It was perfect for our family, with plenty of room for hanging out together, or having a little privacy when needed. The kitchen was very well stocked, we easily all sat at the dining room table, the beds were comfortable and the disappearing wall between the living space and lanai was heavenly. We loved the private beach where the snorkeling was fun and the beach clean and relaxing. The pool is super close and convenient (although we did wish it stayed open past 9pm). Overall, we highly recommend Ohana Treasure!

Great house and location
Great property, lots of toys, close to pool. Master bedroom bath huge. Has most everything you need for cooking. I added a couple pizza stones on our trip as I made homemade pizzas on the BBQ for friends. Will go back again!

👍😃
Enjoyed our stay! The only inconvenience on this particular property was the driveway. With accommodations for 10, it’s expected that there would be two vehicles. The driveway was short and narrow and also curved. Parking was difficult and extra care was needed not to damage foliage during entering and exiting our cars often requiring that both cars be moved for one to get out.
Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans and appliances.
Overall, it was a very pleasant and beautiful place to spend our 3 day vacation with visiting family.

Outstanding!
The house is very well equipped with every possible need. It is is a short walk to great swimming pools and a work out room with state-of-the-art equipment. You can also ride bikes to the market or restaurants nearby. The grounds of Kamilo are well maintained and the house itself is private and super clean. Large, beautiful original paintings of Hawaii go well with the nicely furnished interior. Management was efficient and responsive to our every need.

Fantastic
Ohana Treasure was perfect for our group (9 total: two families including a total of 5 children). There was plenty of space. The communication from the team at Paradise in Hawaii was great. The checkin went smoothly. The kids enjoyed the boogie boards and the adults enjoyed the beach chairs available in the garage. Would gladly stay there again.

Spacious enough for 8 adults
We loved our stay at Ohana Treasure. The kitchen has an abundance of dishes and serving sets along with every pot, pan, and cooking utensil you would ever need. There are lots of beach towels along with beach toys and bicycles to get you to the beach. We went to the beach at the Fairmont Orchid and Mauna Lani and both were great for snorkeling in quiet coves. There is snorkel gear in the garage, but there is also Snorkel Bob's at the round-about if you wish to rent gear sized to you. The resort swimming pool and hot tubs are just across the street, which was handy for evening relaxing and the hot tub behind the fitness center was always unoccupied.
With 2500 square foot I was wondering if it would feel crowded with our group of 8 adults. The kitchen, dining, and living area are open and plenty roomy. The bedrooms are all adequate in size (the queen room was the smallest with no closet), but what was really nice was the 3 separate outdoor living spaces. Never did the house feel congested.
The only thing we had a problem with was the stairs. My 77 year old mother and another in the group have eye issues. They could not see the edge of the steps or judge the depth so they had to be extra careful using them. It would be nice if there was a kick plate or tread on the steps to make them stand out more.
I would highly recommend this house. Clean, well stocked, close to the small shopping center, and in a quiet location. Perfect for what we were looking for.

Fantastic Place for a Family
Ohana Treasure was a wonderful home for our family of six. Plenty of space, spotlessly clean, well stocked, and beautifully furnished and maintained. We appreciated all the extras.
There are five bikes for riding to the beach or nearby grocery store, a good selection of snorkelling gear, boogie boards, and even SUPs (although we did not use the SUPs or surfboards it is amazing that they are there and available for guests to use). The kitchen has plenty of everything a large family or group will need - you will never run out of any glass, plate or utensil - it's all high quality and plentiful. It is a short walk or bike ride to a good grocery store in the neighbourhood (insider tip: give them your phone number and you get meaningful discounts!). Farmers markets a short drive were awesome too.
There are beautiful beaches and shoreline trails a short stroll or bike ride away - none of them were at all crowded even when we visited during the Christmas week. The charming restaurant at Mauna Lani beach club was fantastic for lunch right on the beach. The surrounding neighbourhood pockets in the Mauna Lani area are beautifully developed with low density. We loved biking down to Petroglyph Park, five minutes away, to watch amazing sunsets. From there you can also walk 5-10 minutes north along the shoreline trail to Puako where many sea turtles hang out in the afternoon and evening. Very cool. Numerous of the very best Big Island beaches are within a 5 - 20 minute drive up and down the Kohala Coast area.
For our first visit to the Big Island, we feel fortunate to have found Ohana Treasure as a home base - a high quality home with attention to detail, well located, and with so many extras. The only thing we could say we wished was better was the sun exposure - the large well-furnished lanai, large private back yard, and garden-level patio are all very beautiful but they face northeast and never receive direct sunlight. If you want to escape the heat and sun, the outdoor spaces at this home are great, but our family is a group of sun lovers. That said, the beautiful pools and large patio areas for hanging out in the sun at anytime are literally right across the street in the centre of this beautiful complex of luxury residential homes.
Ohana Treasure gets the double thumbs up from our family and we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent
Loved everything about this place. Had plenty of room so that all 8 of us could have privacy when needed. Plenty of bathrooms. Loved the master bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Enjoyed the beach toys in the garage. The resort beach and restaurant were very nice. Wish I could have stayed longer on the property.

Perfect location, home was spaceous for a group of 9
This home conveniently located just 1 minute walk from pool area. The AC on the lower level was not working when we arrived so it was pretty warm for 2 nights until it was repaired on Monday. Our group included a toddler. There was a port-a-crib to use and a booster seat. There was no baby gate for the stairs. We tried to buy one at Walmart but couldn't find one wide enough so we had to be very careful about blocking the stairwell with 2 chairs to prevent a fall. Kitchen was well appointed. The lanai was a comfortable place for us to gather, grounds very lush and well manicured. In the garage there were boogie boards, surf boards, bikes, helmets, snorkel gear, a cooler and beach chairs to use, also a chest freezer to keep extra bagged ice for beach trips . The Beach Club was nice, good snorkeling, sandy beach with lounge chairs for use. Not a good beach to boogie board, too calm. (Best beach to boogie board is Hapuna). Having the restaurant at the beach club was handy. There was plenty of parking when we came down in the mornings. Nice walking trail along the beach and through out the Mauna Lani grounds from there. We were very happy with our stay there.

I'd go back in a heartbeat!
This was my first experience with any kind of vacation home rental. I'll do it again for sure! While we had a few hiccups (freezer in kitchen wasn't working, but there was a chest in the garage, ice maker never worked, oven stopped working, but the grill was great), the management contact was always friendly and got things done for us. The house is beautiful and PERFECTLY situated in the gated community (close to the pools) and the larger Mauna Lani property. We had three generations and a total of 8 people staying at the house and there was plenty of room for all! The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils and spices. Dish and clothes washing soap were provided too. The bathrooms all had body wash and shampoo. Overall, this was a fantastic home base for our Big Island adventure!

Beyond our expectations
This is a beautifully maintained spacious property. The layout is great, we had 5 adults and a toddler and it was nice to have most of everyone sleeping downstairs while the living space was upstairs. The patio off the main living room was so great for outdoor lounging and bbqs. The art work in the property is stunning, you feel like you are walking around an art museum. The pools were great, and had nice options for our 3 year old daughter, not to mention they are hardly ever used so they feel very private. The air conditioning works great and we were really able to keep the house at a cool comfortable temperature. There are plenty of beach toys and chairs to use, although you don't really need them if you are planning on going to Mauni Lani Beach Club, as the Beach Club provides lounge chairs. We had a great experience with the management company too, they were extremely responsive via phone or text. I was very impressed and I would definitely rent this home again!

Beautiful house in great location!
Everything was in great condition and had all one would need. Kai was quick to respond to questions and went above and beyond to help us rent the pavilion for our reception dinner. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, it is truly a slice of paradise!

Absolutely stellar!
An absolutely stellar place to stay on the Big Island of Hawaii! First class accommodations with everything anyone could need for a fun-filled vacation. Peaceful , safe and quiet surroundings with an array of tropical birds in the trees. We loved it!

Bad management good accommodation
The problem started when we arrived and no key for private beach gate. Two days later we got a key from the owner but never saw anyone . There we 6 of us and one arrived before the rest on the first day the key given for the entrance literature was wrong we later found that the management company that was on the letterhead was not responsible for this unit and the owners management company had used there letterhead without permission. We finally got in touch with the correct company and got the correct code and requested the beach key. There was also only one key for the beach and only one for the pool. With 6 people that was a problem, in talking to guests at other properties they all had two keys for both. The unit itself was quite nice very comfortable well located and worked well. We had a good visit and if not for the troubles above I would have rated it higher.

Well maintained beautiful house in a great location
I have just returned home to Canada and looking out at the snow drifts am already missing the Big Island. There were six of us at the house, being myself, my wife and our two adult kids and their respective spouses. We were very happy with our stay at the house. We all felt that the house was more than adequate for all of us. The kitchen was well stock with all that we would require to cook during our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and made us feel very comfortable. Only a half block away was the park and two pools, so that if we did not feel like going down to the beach, we could just hang out there. James, the manager was very responsive and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this house.

Loved it!

This is just a stunning home near the Mauna Lani Resort. We were originally hesitant about booking this place because it was a "townhouse" but it truly looked and felt like a spacious house in a quiet neighborhood and nothing like a duplex. Our two related families with six kids ranging from 10 to 17 years old stayed for seven nights and never felt cramped or bored, especially with so many amenities available including a huge pool and fitness center just around the corner, access to the private Mauna Lani Beach (awesome snorkeling) and a garage full of paddle boards, boogie boards, bikes, snorkeling gear, etc. (We brought our own snorkeling equipment so don't know what condition the equipment in the garage was in). The entire house had tiled flooring which we all loved--it helped keep the house cool and clean. The property manager Kai was a pleasure to deal with: from letting us check in early to bringing over a missing access card to the private beach to getting the air conditioner fixed promptly to getting us a late check out (super helpful when your plane didn't leave till 8pm). Ideally, we wanted a place with an ocean view but honestly, we didn't miss it because the natural and lush scenic view from the huge sliding glass doors leading to the lanai was just so peaceful and lovely. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Kona...MAHALO from your Colorado and California guests!

THe house was amazing and handled our extended family on vacation well. The chef in our crew loved the kitchen, the kids loved their rooms, and the beach was AMAZING. A little bit of a drive to town, but a gorgeous place. My only issue was that I found the property manager to be a little less than on top of their game. When we arrived, there seemed to be a leak in one of the bathrooms. THe property manager took care of it promptly, sending someone to look at it while we were out for the day. We returned and could not tell if the person had been there, so I called about an hour after we got back, and was told to not have anyone use one of the other two bathrooms, because the plumber had recaulked. (Would have been good to know right away, since that was the most used restroom.). Then we received our email about check out procedures with the wrong date, (Check out for Saturday, not Sunday.). I called and the gentleman was nice, said he would fix it. But then, on Saturday while we are out and about, I get a call asking why we hadn't vacated the property. I forwarded the property manager the paperwork showing Sunday as check out. He apologized and in the end everything worked out, but it was a bit annoying to have to ask for an update on the bathroom and have to deal with the check out date multiple times. IN the end the manager was responsive, friendly and polite, he just didn't seem to have the follow through and attention to detail I would expect. But our stay was good and our whole family had a great time.

We traveled to Big Island from May 25-June 1, 2017 and it was perfect. There were 9 of us family members, all adults. James was helpful from the very beginning when we had some difficulty finding Kamilo as it was really late when we landed. He was easily accessible. The home itself was beautiful- an open layout and the pics don't do it justice. It was definitely enough space of all of us to comfortably fit. The kitchen had all of the essential cookware and more than enough dishware. The bedrooms were large. The lanai was the best part- beautiful view and a perfect napping spot. The Mauna Lani resort has plenty of shopping and restaurants and the best ice cream! The Mauna Lani beach club was also easily accessible with the pass and had great snorkeling.
The location is excellent as this is about a 10 min drive from Hapuna beach which is the best beach on the island. There are also plenty of other beautiful beaches within a 10-15 min drive.
We had an amazing time and highly recommend this property! Can't wait to go back!

We loved our stay at this KaMilo property. Located just steps from the pool, jacuzzi and rec center... a garage filled with sand toys & beach chairs... clean and well-appointed kitchen.... huge master bathroom.... nice little yard out back.... 1 minute drive to Foodland market and the nearby shops... and a close drive to fantastic beaches (eg, Hapuna). The management company was also incredibly easy to deal with and very helpful. We will return!

This is a newer area of the Mauna Lani development. This home is impressively decorated, lots of art, sculpture etc. The lanai is comfortable and relaxing with a great view of the mountains. We found all the kitchenware we needed. One thing to note is that the flooring is ALL tiled - which could be a concern if you have little ones along - esp. the staircase - the tile floors with no area rugs makes it a bit noisy too.
The pool is right around the corner - easy walking - and was a great spot for all ages - large wading and swim area, hot tub, lovely landscaping and plenty of chairs and lounges.
The beach club here really is one of the nicest spots around - be sure to check it out - clean bathrooms, easy parking - bar and restaurant - also free water at the bar from beverage dispenser is handy. Very protected cove for swimming - usually lifeguard here as well.
To sum up - we chose this as we had 6 adults and two small children - we all had a bed and each family had a bathroom - it worked for us - location was great, pool and beach were wonderful.
