About this apartment rental
The Caprice is located in a private, family oriented community three (3) miles north of Bethany Beach, DE and 1.5 miles south of Indian River Inlet and the Delaware State park. Easy access to Rehoboth and Ocean City and of course, the Inlet for fishing and recreational fishing. There is a large, wide beach, which is among the nicest, if not the nicest beach in the Delaware - Maryland area. You are literally steps from the beach. There is just one row of townhouses prior to the boardwalk crossing the dune. What this means is that when you have forgotten something or want to return to your unit for whatever reason, it is a very quick trip.
The Caprice, Unit 1E, itself is located on the first floor. You only have to climb one flight of steps and you arrive on a screened porch with a large sliding door which opens to the living room. The unit has an open floor plan, which provides comfortable seating for all the residents and guests.

The neighborhood is populated mostly by families with children and the community atmosphere is enhanced by groups of kids playing and buying snow cones. Once you have arrived you can feel free of traffic and the hustle and bustle of crowds, and enjoy yourself at the beach.

This is an amazing location. The condo has had a remodel of kitchen and has 2 outdoor warm water private showers and an outdoor bathroom for quick trips back from the beach. There are beach chairs and umbrellas for our use.
The carpet inside and outdoor porch furniture could use an upgrade. The shower liner needs to be replaced (moldy). The Wifi connection was terrible. It kept dropping off, making it impossible to work from this location. It wouldn't stay connected even on your phone. This is really the only complaint but would not rent here again for that reason unless something was done to fix this issue.

This is by far the best location if you want a quiet, close to the beach getaway. Can’t say enough about the owner’s attention and proximity to the beach. You can hear the waves from the front porch! Loved it and will book again!

The cottage was very close to the private beach in a quiet development. The condo was spacious and clean, especially loved the screened in porch!

Unit was very clean except food left in freezer from previous tenants. Communication with owner was outstanding. Kitchen and bathrooms are dated and could use some work. The unit is literally so close to the beach for a very fair price that the rest is minor!

Quiet Delaware beach stay
The "condo" was only a two minute walk from the beach. It was clean and quiet. Really enjoyed the screened in porch with comfy chairs and sound of the surf could be heard. There was only one row of houses between ours and the beach. Located in a quiet private community. Very nice. Would return in future.

We had a great week! Everything was as advertised and we couldn’t be happier staying here. The owner does a great job of keeping in touch, and making sure everything is running and in top shape. Will be back again!

Perfect getaway
We rented the condo at the end of September and had a great vacation. The property was the perfect location just steps from a quiet private beach. The condo was great and the right size for my family of 4. We utilized the beach chairs that were provided and was very glad for the outdoor shower (with hot water). Ocean city was close enough that we went almost every day to walk the boardwalk. Would definitely stay at this place again

3 C’s—clean, comfy and close to the beach!
We really enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were as advertised, and we were pleased with the close distance to the beach. The only negative were some loud visitors outside, and people above us making noise in the middle of the night. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Beach is stunning and clean. Quick drive to boardwalks in Rehoboth and Bethany. All in all, a great place to stay.

Beach vacation
Beach vacation: our party had five adults and two children. We enjoyed our stay at Caprice very much. The property was exactly what we needed. Being in a private community, we enjoyed the private beach and yet were able to travel to the commercial areas north and south easily. Kathy was great in helping us to arrange the details of our stay. When we go to the beach again we will consider this property; the price is right!

Staying at the Caprice was wonderful. The owner was very responsive and nice. I know had we needed anything, she would have been very helpful. The check in process is seamless. The neighborhood was perfect! Everyone was very friendly. The apartment was clean and bright! The kitchen had all you need to cook you meals and there was a grill available to us. The screened in porch was perfect for drinking your coffee in the morning and just relaxing! It was a very short walk to the gorgouse beach. I've never had a better, more relaxing vacation! I can't think of a thing I would change.

Excellent family spot
One flight of stairs & one level housing made this trip nice with children! Place was clean, cozy, and the kitchen had just the right stuff for preparing masks meals as opposed to eating out. Would love to stay again.

Best beach!
This area is close to everything, yet hidden away from the big crowds. It’s close to the park, where we like to surf fish, and pretty quiet year round. It’s a gem!

Amazing location
We have a child with severe food allergies so staying in a hotel without a kitchen just won’t work. This property is perfect! With a full kitchen, we’re able to cook for our son! It’s very family friendly and so close to the beach. You can see the walk way to the beach from the porch. It’s so quiet! It’s so surprisingly big inside. We are a family of four who all have very different sleeping habits. This property is large enough that we all got the sleep we needed. I love the bunk beds because the bottom is so low to the ground you don’t have to worry about little ones falling out. We have stayed here twice and will absolutely stay again.

Great stay at Tower Shores!
Tower Shores is one of our favorite places to stay in Bethany Beach, and this unit is a great one-level in Tower Shores. Very hard to beat for the price. It's very close to the beach as well as the playground area in Tower Shores -- an important amenity with small children. We had 7 staying here (including children) and had sufficient room. Adults spent evenings on the screened patio reading and listening to the ocean. It was a great trip!
