We had really good stay at this property in Feb 2023. Its a beautiful villa with large pretty gardens, a patio area and fenced off swimming pool. The villa is on a quiet street a minute away from a road that connects the towns in the North of the island and is about 20mins from the large resort of Corralejo, 15mins from the quaint coastal town El Cotillo and about 30mins from the airport. The nearest shop is a 5minute walk with a small but well stocked supermarket as well as two restaurants. The small towns of Villaverde and La Olivia are both 20min walks and have some other shops and facilities like playgrounds. We stayed for 7 days as a group of two families with children from 2-6 years old and the thoughtful layout allowed for us to have comfortable setup in the house. There are two ensuite doubles, a baby room and then two single rooms each with two beds in them. The pool area is good with sun loungers, some inflatables and a bbq space. The house is well equipped and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. There were a few things that would have made it great; - we were abit unlucky with the weather (a little chilly and a few days of dust storms) but that meant the house was really quite cold at night and then we struggled to get consistent hot water setup. This won't be an issue for the majority of the year but some warmer blankets would be good to have on hand. - the house has some family provisions but lacking things like childrens bowls/plates/cutlery and outside of a couple of puzzles and two kids DVDs there wasn't much available. Because we spent more time inside than we thought this was abit more of a challenge. - we might have just missed it but we couldn't find a welcome pack with any information about the house or surrounding area. Stef had kindly sent some info by email in advance but things like knowing what to do with rubbish, how the pool worked, how to get taxis etc weren't there so we had to figure quite a lot of this out for ourselves. - The house is well cared for but some bits could use abit of TLC / or replacing i.e. the pool net was broken, a broken sun lounger, all the inflatable balls for the pool were punctured, some art supplies for the lovely additional artists studio (Which is a great little bonus space!) etc. All in all we'd highly recommend the villa - Stef was great to deal with and her building managers were very friendly and accommodating. A few tweaks and would be a 5 star experience.

Schöne Villa in la Oliva. Alles super sauber. Bettwäsche wird gewechselt und auch die Poolpflege ist 1a. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.

Beaucoup de place pour une famille de 10. La piscine très bien chauffée est vraiment agréable. Très bon contact avec la propriétaire. A recommander sans hésiter !!

Wir hatten 2 tolle Wochen in der Villa zusammen mit Freunden. Die Lage war für uns perfekt zu den Stränden in Corralejo und El Cottilo. Ein Mietwagen wird benötigt. Besonders genossen haben wir den Außenbereich mit der windgeschützten Sitzecke und dem schönen Garten. Auch der Pool war sauber und schön warm - ein Highlight für die Kids. Die Kommunikation mit Vermieterin und Manager war problemlos und sehr freundlich! Ein kleiner Punkt Abzug da aufgrund teilweise defekter Moskitonetzen die Kinder sehr viele Stiche hatten und ggf. das ein oder andere Polster im Aussenbereich gereinigt werden könnte. Insgesamt eine Empfehlung von uns - wir würden wiederkommen! :-)

We've had a fantastic two week stay in this great villa. We arrived at Christmas day and staid for a fortnight. The property manager was so kind to do some shoppings for us, as the shops were closed. The check-in process was simple, and since there were no renters before us, we could jump in the pool right away. The pool had stairs and 'chairs' in the corner where our little ones (2 and 4 years old) could play. Two oldest ones thoroughly enjoyed the pool too, which was heated to a comfortable 29 degrees celsius. The house was very suited for little kids. The pool had a safety fence, there was a stair gate, covers over the sharp corners of tables, a cod, toys for in the pool, and pencils and paint. The family also greatly enjoyed the BBQ facilities. When not cooking ourselves, we enjoyed some great restaurants. Il Gatto Rosso and Mahoh were both fantastic. The former is a family owned place that serves fresh made pizza, pasta and chicken nuggets. Each dish was delicious and the service was warm. The latter was a large well run place with both local and mainstream dishes. We also made some hikes in the mountains with scenic views. There were a few smaller things that could have been better about the villa, as some parts were ready to be replaced (eg cooking plate) and the dining table wasn't super clean, but these were minor. We had some bad luck with the hot water facilities breaking down, but this was elegantly solved, as we could use the showers in the appartment.

Vorneweg: wir können die Villa klar weiterempfehlen. Nachfolgend ein paar Punkte +Check-in kontaktlos mit Schlüsselkasten hat gut geklappt + sehr gute Raumaufteilung mit vielen Rückzugsmöglichkeiten und 3 Bädern + Dachterrasse, Außenbereich zum sitzen und gesondert zum Essen + Sonnenliegen am Pool und auf der Terrasse + Kindersicherung am Pool und an der Innentreppe + Waschmaschine + Sonnenschirme, Sand- und Wasserspielzeug vorhanden + außer im Bad viele Verstaumöglichkeiten +Fliegengitter an vielen Fenstern + genug warme Zusatzdecken - die Toilette im Hauptschlafzimmer ist ständig gelaufen. Die Betreuung vor Ort konnte es nicht richten und sie haben es in unserer Zeit nicht geschafft einen Sanitär zu organisieren. Neben der ganzen Wasserverschwendung hat das laufende Wassergeräusch und das Wiederauffüllen des Spülkastens sehr genervt (vor allem Nachts) - kein Sichtschutz im Badezimmer im Hauptschlafzimmer. Eine Schwingtüre oder Lamellenwand wäre schon ausreichend - Sauberkeit war in Ordnung aber es war zT schon staubig, vorallem unter den Betten (haben zwei Betten zusammengeschoben und dabei Wollmäuse heraufbeschworen) - Trotz Fliegengitter viele Mücken im Haus - die Adresse bei Google ist falsch hinterlegt. This was our second stay in Villaverde but first time at Stef's villa. We were two families and the villa provided the perfect space for us all. The pool was great and lovely and warm which can be a rarity. A great location within walking distance of the supermarket and a number of restaurants. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Das Haus von Stef ist wunderschön. Die Atmosphäre ist direkt zum Wohlfühlen. Die Zimmer sind alle geschmackvoll und individuell eingerichtet. Der Masterbedroom ist das beste Zimmer! Die Betten sind sehr bequem und groß genug auch für grössere Menschen. Die Bäder sind ( bis auf eins) ganz modern. Die Küche ist groß und mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Ferienhaus benötigt. An die Küche schließt sich ein sehr praktischer Hauswirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine und zusätzlichem Kühlschrank an. Es waren mehr als genug Handtücher und Decken vorhanden. Strandtücher müssen aber selber mitgebracht werden. Das W- Lan funktioniert super. Das heisse Wasser auch! Das Aussengelände, Garten, sind schön angelegt und komplett eingefriedet. Der Pool ist sehr schön. Leider funktionierte die Technik bei unserem Aufenthalt nicht richtig, so dass er erst nach ein paar Tagen richtig beheizt war. Auch funktionierte weder die Gegenstromanlage noch das Poollicht. Luke, der Verwalter, war sehr bemüht, fand aber in den 10 Tagen keinen Techniker. Das war schade, tat aber der Freude am Pool nur einen kleinen Abbruch. Es sind genügend Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten vorhanden. Sonnen- und Windschutz für den Strand sind vorhanden, Wasserspielzeug auch. Der Ort selber eignet sich für Ausflüge im Norden. Ein Auto wird benötigt!!! Wir waren viel in Corralejo am Strand - Playa del dormidero - , herrlich leer mit Strandwacht aber ohne Toiletten. Lajares und der Aufstieg auf den Vulkan sind einen Ausflug wert ( einmal um den Kratern kraxeln) ebenso Puerto del Rosario als eher typische spanische Stadt wie wir sie vom Festland kennen und nicht als Tourismusort. Villaverde und La Oliva selber sind nicht spektakulär und haben schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Es gibt aber einen guten Supermarkt fussläufig, der besser ist als jeder Mercadona. Auch gibt es fussläufig zwei gute Restaurants. In La Oliva gibt es eine gute Bäckerei. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Bauplätze, Baulärm haben wir aber keinen gehört, da zurzeit nicht gebaut wird. Die Kommunikation mit Stef war super. Sie war immer erreichbar und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben. Vor Ort ist der Verwalter Luke erreichbar. Beachten muss man, dass Herd und Waschmaschine mit einer Kindersicherung ausgestattet sind und diese erst entsperrt werden muss (Google hilft!). Als Anregung: Es wäre schön, wenn eine kleine Mappe mit Instruktionen vor Ort wäre ( Herd, Waschmaschine, Müll, Router, Pool etc.).
