Exceptional

I loved the privacy of the room. It is across the street from spirit lake and in the middle of spirit lake and east okoboji. The spillway is only a block away. It is located enough out of the way but still close enough to get to many great eats and attractions.

depressing We had to laugh-felt duped.

it was fairly private, except our room was close to road. luckily our truck and boat blocked a lot of traffic. people were very nice-feel bad for the negativity on our part!

no hair dryer/shower had a small step-in, curtain was way too long so a lot was in water- not very sanitary. no private patio overlooking the lake as advertised. furniture on “patio” table old and marred - chairs were old plastic. furniture was old and scratched-good for firewood. kitchen much smaller than pictured. “resort” is a misnomer

Pretty. Get a better bed.

Very clean. Nice room and liked it had a mini kitchen.

Bed wasn't very comfortable. Nicer I'd it had been a king. Front door was odd. Solid door would have been better. Curtain blew with the air conditioning so you could kind of see in the door.

Amazing location! Stayed 4 nights & 5 days. SUPER CLEAN! Great hosts and super attentive! Having the kitchen was super awesome! And their gas grill was great for cooking out after a day at the beach or sightseeing. This place is very close to everything but yet far enough away that its SUPER quiet and peaceful! They have a little bar and restaurant with amazing drinks and foods!! Everything is shut down there at 8 so its quiet while you enjoy the views for the evening. 2 more parks with fishing docks are about a 5 to 10 minute walk! You have Spirit lake literally steps away! Orleans beach is about a 5 to 7 minute walk away with grills, pavilion, clean bathrooms and picnic tables.

We had a great time! Went to fall fish, and there were plenty of options for that.

It is extremely comfortable. It had everything we wanted. looked to be just remolded.

TV stations are pretty limited.

Updated resort in a great location

Rooms are updated and have a full kitchenette which was very convenient for my family. The location is wonderful with Spirit Lake across the street, a walking/bike path right behind the resort, and public beach access with a local ice cream shop just down the block.

I used to clean a bed and breakfast, so am extra picky about room cleanliness. There were many scuffs on the walls and significant dust on the lights in the bathroom and on top do the refrigerator. Also there are no hooks or options to hang your hand towels or bath towels in the bathroom, which I found to be an inconvenience.

Excellent resort

Clean, great location, roomy and comfortable all at a great price. Plus the food next door was delish. Will stay again!

Our stay was for a family reunion in southern MN and side trips to Okoboji and Storm Lake.

This is our second stay here and it was quite enjoyable. There are excellent bike paths around the lakes and it is close to attractions we wanted to visit. The bed was very comfortable and the ac worked superbly. The room was well equipped with everything we needed and more.

You put a lot of money into the Renovation, why didn't you spend just a little more on the bed? The WORST bed I have ever TRIED to sleep on!!

Relaxing, convenient

It was a very relaxed atmosphere. Great food over at the Gingham. Close to places to visit.

nice place, would definitely recommend especially in the warmer weather/season

great location near the lake. Room was very clean and kitchen very well equipped with everything you would need to get prepare and cook meals. Bed was comfortable. Nice, big shower (no bath tub)

the tv channels were poor quality. It was literally antenna tv, reception was great but channel choices were not good

Great Mother-Daughter trip for the weekend!

Location was quite and sitting outside you can see the lake, just not from inside the room which was fine with us. Restaurant next door also!
