Perched high above Bright is the spacious and welcoming, Bright on High.
Ideal for 2 families or relaxing time with friends, this sunny and open character home welcomes you with floor to ceiling windows, room for everyone and views to inspire you. Truly unwind and leave the world behind on your spacious deck with nothing but mountains and forests to wrap around you.

Enjoy a bbq on the deck while the kids play on the lawns or step inside to your fully equipped kitchen to whip up a feast. Enjoy open plan living on 2 levels - all with those spectacular views and plenty of space. The upper living area featuring digital tv/dvd, the relaxing lower level with your own wood fire to curl up by. Climate controlled heating & cooling offers year round comfort.

Four spacious bedrooms sleep 10 guests (including 2 trundles). The roomy master bedroom offers those stunning views with comfy recliner chairs to relax with a good book and a comfy queen bed. At the top end of the house, 3 more bedrooms offer a sunny queen bedroom with patio access, and 2 rooms with 2 single beds in each (+ 1 trundle). Limited linen is provided (see note below for full details), and all bedrooms feature robes and storage.
A 5th 'studio room' is available downstairs for bookings of more than 10.

This spacious rooms includes a small bathroom and kitchenette facilities with a double bed & 2 singles. All basic linen is included.
Your laundry with washing machine leads out to a fully enclosed court yard with cubby, perfect for your furry friend to spend the day while you're out exploring. Of course, Fido can go with you to enjoy the spoils of Bright in a dog friendly environment. A double lock up garage offers the perfect place to store your bikes and equipment.

The relaxed, casual vibe offered by Bright on High truly allows you to unwind, kick back and enjoy quality time with the whole family or great friends. Just 5 minutes walk to the top of Bright's main street, get the best of it all. Privacy, nature, views and everything Bright has to offer waiting just below your retreat.

A separate lower bedroom is accessible to accommodate an extra 4 guests!

This lower studio room features 1 double bed & 2 singles with its own kitchenette and bathroom with shower.

The studio room will be opened for groups that require accommodation for more than 10.

Note: All beds will be made with fresh linen and towels, however guests are required to provide their own doonas/blankets/sleeping bags and pillows.
This property is booked for you and only you.

You will have the entire property to yourselves however bedroom access and price is determined by guest numbers.

* Extra bedrooms will be closed off and can only be made available for a a small additional fee. *1-2 guests offers 1 bedroom, 3-4 guests offers 2 bedrooms, 5-6 guests offers 3 bedrooms, 7-10 guests offers 4 bedrooms. 11-14 guests offers access to the studio space. We were a group of 11 adults 50+ and 1 dog. Plenty of space and a large BBQ A well equipped kitchen and a selection of videos. Close to centre of Bright. 10 minute walk. A very steep driveway but there is a walking path that is a lot easier to walk to main road. The house is split level and has verandas around the side and front. You can find a space to chill and read.

Location was great - especially for our son who wanted to ride his mountain bike on the mystic mountain bike trails. The steep drive way exercised our legs

We loved this house... just not the driveway but don't let it deter you. The views are amazing and the house fits lots of people comfortably. They just need wifi to make it perfect! Added bonuses were the bikes in the garage and the various games for the kids!

Beautiful house in an even more beautiful setting. We stayed in springtime and there were loads of flowers and greenery surrounding the house, making it feel quite remote even though it is a mere ten minute walk to the town. The surrounding decking, two open plan living spaces and kitchen made it perfect for our group of 12 friends and family; we could all socialise but also find space to read or play games with just a few without feeling crowded. The kitchen was well equipped [although not enough tea towels for a large group using lots of dishes!!!] and the house was clean. The only small issue about the stay was that the house doesn't have free Wifi - I think wifi should be a given in any accommodation I book unless the property very remote [or very cheap]. There is 4g service on phones so I think wifi would be available in the area. My husband had planned video messages from family to show me on his laptop, as it was my birthday, but the lack of faster wifi meant we couldn't view all of the messages until we got home. Not a huge issue, just inconvenient, and we didn't want to go and buy a toggle from the supermarket just for a couple of days, as suggested on the property info. Otherwise, it was a perfect trip! Would recommend to others, and book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mixed feelings on the comfort of some of the beds. Would advise to bring own pillows. Everything else was perfect. Great location tucked away in the bush but walking distance to centre of town.

This is a great house with loads of living space, decks and a great kitchen. The views are superb (but be warned, the drive is very steep) and it is only a 5 minute walk into town. Be aware this house does not have free WiFi - this is not acceptable is this day and age where WiFi is akin to running water. Needs to be provided.

My family was here from overseas to celebrate my 30th birthday, and was it a memorable stay. Thank you to Emma, there's everything you could want under one roof and more. Out from the balcony you can see kangeroos! A truely blissful experience.
