Soaring twenty-foot ceilings welcome you to this modern rustic mountain home, filling the great room with natural light and warmth that blends perfectly with the earthy interiors. This home boasts top-of-the-line finishes with hand-scraped wide plank floors, hardwood cabinetry, high-end appliances in the kitchen and luxury outdoor living. An extended deck offers an option to entertain outdoors year-round with a BBQ grill, plenty of seating, a large hot tub centered by a stunning stone fireplace and breathtaking vistas of Moonlight Basin from your elevated perch.

This 3,500 sq ft home comfortably sleeps 12 and is conveniently laid out to cater for families, large groups and couple’s weekends. The main level features three en-suite bedrooms including a spacious master with balcony. There is an upper-level loft room with a seating area and TV. Ski Access:

Ski Access is king at Cowboy Heaven Luxury Suites, with direct ski-in/ski-out access to Big Sky Resort and 5,850 acres of the biggest skiing in America! Lift start date varies, but typically early to mid-December. No access until lifts open or after lifts close. Direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School makes morning lessons a breeze.

Ski Out:
The home is located on the Alpine Meadows Access. This access is located out the garage door on the lower level. Once on the trail you proceed left (north) on the Alpine Meadows access which connects to Hideaway and the Madison Base Area.

Ski In:
From the top of Ironhorse Lift or Six Shooter, follow signs to Powder River. run. Ski through the skier tunnel on the left side of Powder River and ski past the FIRSt skier bridge on the right. Take a hard right on Natawista Run (2nd right after the tunnel) and this transitions to Bootlegger Access. DO NOT take the left onto the bridge at the split. Follow Bootlegger and take a left at the sign for Alpine Meadows. Ski over the long skier bridge back to the garage of the unit on the left.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is quite spacious and well decorated. We’ve never stayed in a house without air-conditioning, but this is the norm Montana apparently! We were comfortable and the temps are quite mild. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to come back soon.

Simply awesome in every way, that’s my briefest summary. In my family group were two interior designers (one graduated in Interior Design with honors from Virginia Tech!), a commercial property manager and a retired real estate investor. Everyone rated this property at the top of the scale! Keep in mind we visited Big Sky in JULY for a daughter’s wedding. However, our larger wedding group included a former ski instructor and a Yellowstone tour guide! They were equally impressed! Not going to bore you with a bunch of details - if you have a chance to secure this property take it! One final group of extremely discerning individuals who loved this place - our grandchildren! Don’t hesitate - if you’re reading reviews just stop and grab the reservation. You will not regret it.

This is a beautiful property! It had everything we needed for a family of 12. Very clean, comfortable and convenient. Probably the nicest place we have ever stayed. Hope to return in the future.

Awesome resolution to a big problem

Awesome resolution to a big problem

We had 8 people on our trip ranging from 8 years old to 60+. We were notified on our way to Big Sky that there was significant building maintenance going on with our rental. This maintenance made the property unusable. We were traveling with two elderly people in wheel chairs, so a solution wasn't simple. Meghan with Big Sky Vacation Rentals really saved the day. She found us a similar property that was suitable for handicap access and even personally delivered a shower chair to make the bathroom usable. The property was awesome and the family had a great time in Big Sky Simply put, Meghan saved the trip for us. She resolved an unexpected situation quickly and was a complete pro. We will definitely rent from her again.
