Chalet Charmar is an OVO Network property. This 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom terraced chalet for 12 (max. 8 adults), is set over 4 floors, over 160m2 of floor space.
The OVO Network team’s opinion -
The property overlooks Beauregard and Etale on the road up to the Cret du Merle in La Clusaz. It is also the next door neighbour to an already popular OVO Network property - Chalet La Frasse - which also has a capacity of 12, so for larger groups (up to 24) wanting to holiday with lots of friends, why not book both properties together?
The main living space has two lounges, with one area snuggled around the log burner and the other facing the opposite way to enjoy the views out of the picture postcard windows (and a TV), plus the kitchen, the dining room and a wc. With a south facing balcony and a terrace to the garden to the north of the property, there are very different views to be had from this floor alone!
This property will be ideal for families with kids, or for groups of friends. In good snow conditions access to the piste is within 150m, it's often possible to ski back via the woods above the chalet and arrive in the back garden.
For those who prefer to be that little bit more remote from a busy resort like La Clusaz Chalet Charmar has a lot to offer.

PLEASE NOTE: there is 1 covered garage and 2 parking spaces at the property. FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, it's strictly forbidden to ride sledges down the field at the back of the property. IMPORTANT: if you decide to book Chalet Charmar together with Chalet La Frasse or Chalet Zamaro next door, please be aware that none of the property's dining table can accomodate more than the capacity of each rental.

We accept a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

Great chalet, very well equipped with beautiful decoration. The views are amazing. You need to be a good skier to access ski-in ski-out, and walk about 5 minutes down the road to access the piste if there isn't enough snow. Cyril, the chalet manager, was very helpful. La Clusaz is a great resort and we really enjoyed our stay.

Very cosy and well equipped
Nice chalet, close to the ski slopes. We were thrilled to find that the description on the OVO Network website was totally in line with reality. We absolutely loved the fact it is possible to come back through the woods by ski. Thank you so much to Cyril for being very flexible and accommodating an early arrival, we appreciated everything you did for us.

Our expectations were exceeded!
Beautiful and very comfortable chalet which is very well equipped. The children loved it as much as us adults. The chalet Charmar was immaculate upon our arrival and we loved every minute of our stay, it was even better in real life than in the pictures, we were thrilled.

Nous avons rarement séjourné dans un châlet aussi bien équipé !
Au-delà de cette bonne surprise, il était vraiment très bien situé, avec les pistes accessibles en skis en marchant un petit peu. Cyril (le manager) était très réactif dès que nous avions une question ! Je le recommande à tout le monde souhaitant passer un bon moment en famille, été comme hiver, une des plus belles vues de la montagne probablement !

Great chalet, great service
Chalet Charmar is a picture book chalet with excellent views and facilities. The standard of accommodation and equipment is very high. The people we met in La Clusaz were extremely friendly. A great chalet, but a long walk from town, so my advice would be to bring a car. Also a word for Cyril, the chalet manager: he is a lovely, hardworking chap and did his best to help us, so thank you Cyril. Also many thanks to Charles at Passion Altitude - what a star and genuinely one of the nicest people we've met in a long time. His kindness in driving to the chalet to pick up and collect our injured skier was definitely an example of going the extra mile.

Très agréable chalet avec tout le confort.
Merci à toute l'équipe d'OVO et en particulier Cyril le manager avec qui nous avons eu un excellent contact. Tout s'est déroulé de manière fluide et conviviale. A très bientôt.

Juste magique
Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique avec famille et amis dans ce chalet: les skieurs ont pu apprécier sa proximité des pistes et le retour skis aux pieds, et bien sûr tout le monde a profité des soirées autour de la cheminée et des réveils avec une vue sur le massif de Beauregard. Juste magique lorsqu’il y a du soleil. Nous séjournerons sûrement de nouveau au Chalet Charmar. Merci encore à Cyril le manager pour sa présence et sa gentillesse.

Vacances sensationnelles
Vacances sensationnelles dans un chalet très bien rénové, très bien décoré, très bien équipé.
La vue est éblouissante sur le massif de Beauregard. La terrasse du rez-de-chaussée est spacieuse et celle de l'étage très bien ensoleillée.
Les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées, très bien isolées.
L'arrière du chalet est propice à de bonnes parties de luge. L'accueil par le manager fut très chaleureux; il a été très attentif et réactif à toutes nos demandes (lit et chaise haute de bébé en plus, déneigement....)
A prendre en compte, la distance du chalet à la station qui nécessite un véhicule (3 km) lorsque les enfants ne sont pas encore autonomes en skis .

Que de beaux souvenirs à revivre !!!
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans le chalet Charmar. Le chalet est très bien équipé, fonctionnel et très chaleureux avec le vieux bois, et toutes ces peluches !!! Et que dire du coin dédié des enfants ? Nos filles ont adoré cet endroit sympa rien que pour elles... La vue sur le plateau de Beauregard est aussi magnifique. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine, sous le soleil dans un cadre splendide.
