Remodeled in 2024. This large 2,100 square foot home is unique because its all on 1 level. And it’s located on a large lot (1/3rd acre), so there is lots of room for the kids to play outside while you enjoy privacy, space, & unobstructed Gulf views. The massive decks, which extend all around this house, are huge - over 1,300 sf of total deck area (with plenty of shaded areas) - so all can enjoy. The main rear deck on the main level is very spacious - 50 ft long & 12 ft deep. That’s 600 sq ft! Ands there’s plenty of shade. Also it couldn’t be any closer to the soothing Gulf waters. Plus there's a large upper "Captain's Deck" with incredible, unobstructed ocean views. Sleeps 14 (3 kings, 2 Fulls & 6 Twin beds). There are 5 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms are very large. All beds are have newer, high quality mattresses. This home is located in beautiful and family-friendly Jamaica Beach. You can't beat the location - just 10 mins from Galveston attractions, but in quiet, fun, safe, Jamaica Beach. Open floor plan with updated furnishings everywhere. The home’s interior has been fully remodeled. The decks & ungraded hurricane windows were upgraded as well. Full washer & dryer in the laundry room. New tankless hot water system. There are 2 separate Air Conditioning systems. Both new as of Jan 2023. Downstairs, additional outdoor hot & cold shower and stall for washing cleaning-up after returning from the beach. Perfect for multiple families. Well-equipped kitchen. We supply beach towels as well as towels for showering. And we typically have a couple of Boogy-Boards and 4 beach chairs available. Plastic toys for the little ones are almost always available. There's a BBQ grill for outdoor grilling (bring your own charcoal). Please bring your own charcoal briquettes and please discard the unused charcoals so that the grill is ready for the next guests. And pls don't throw your used charcoals in the yard. Also, you do not need a golf cart as you are literally only about 20 steps to the beach. In addition, Jamaica Beach Police frequently patrol the beach, so the beach area is always family-friendly and fun. The owners have made numerous improvements, including premium vinyl plank flooring; new decks and handrailings; new fascia and soffits; new hurricane windows; new tankless hot water system; new solid core, 5 panel doors; new paint in & out; new textured granite (with a gorgeous peninsula slab); new big screen HD TV (with premium cable/Netflix/Amazon/Xbox One S w/ plenty of games for the kids and teens); Televisions in all 5 bedrooms; imported teak dining table & teak chairs; new lighting; new linens and towels; all premium bedding; fully stocked kitchen; and more. High speed WiFi /Internet. Small pets are welcome (under 30 lbs) with an additional, nonrefundable pet fee of $100 per pet. No large pets please.
