About this apartment rental
It is the ideal location of the apartment that sets it apart. There are very few private chalets surrounded by large grounds in the centre of town. Once you have arrived there is no need for a car. The amenaties of the town centre are on your doorstep, the shuttle-ski-bus station is a 5 minute walk away and the Aiguille du Midi cablecar is just opposite.
La Terrace is designed to make you feel relaxed and comfortable after an active day on the mountains. The apartment is a spacious 140m2 with floor to ceiling doors which open onto a large decked terrace. There are oak floors throughout, a log fireplace and an open planned contemporary living space that comfortably accommodates 8 people. From the terrace there are fabulous views of the Mont-Blanc range. There is satellite television with a large selection of international channels and free Wi-Fi connection.
The kitchen is fully equipped a large fridge freezer and bar area. There are 4 bedrooms, two twins and two doubles and 3 bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are en suite. Each bathroom is supplied with large bath towels and bath products. For a cosy night’s sleep all beds have feather duvets and pillowcases and white cotton bed linen.
Exterior Facilities
The coach house is set in a large walled private garden. Children can play safely in the garden. We provide BBQ facilities, chairs and tables and sun loungers for our guests. There is covered parking on the grounds.
Internal Facilities.
We provide towels, bed linen and a hair-dryer. There are games and books in the living area. There is a ski locker room to leave all your equipment in.

The house was incredible! We loved using the fireplace and the beds were so cozy. The shower in the master bedroom has a tendency to switch temperatures very suddenly- from the desired temperature to piping hot or freezing cold. Other than that, we made such incredible memories in this house! I’d love to stay there again sometime!! Thank you for much. And the host communicated very well.

This is a great place for a family group. The kids played in the fenced-in yard and on the generous deck. There is outdoor dining space on the deck, as well as plenty of room to spread out indoors. Although we did find a few spider webs (and a dead spider) the place was clean and the beds comfortable. The chairs in the living area need to be replaced, but the sofa was comfy. Kitchen was excellent and well equipped, including a raclette machine. Perhaps add a fondue pot?? The best thing about this place was the location. It’s very close to amenities ( I imagined this was even better pre-covid, however the closest grocery store was closed down) without being in a noisy area of town. Super quiet at night. And while you enjoy a drink on the deck after a busy day, you can actually watch the gondolas going up and down from Aguille du Midi!

Very nice and modern appartement
A very open, light and modern appartement, able to accommodate up to eight in terms of beds but six adults would be the limit for me in terms of seating. Great cooking facilities but some additional equipment would not be overdone. The appartement is very well situated with ample parking on the secluded area, in a quiet part of town. Everything in the town is at walking distance. Odile was very attentive and hospitable and a perfect host.

Chamonix summer getaway
We had a lovely stay at this chalet. The apartment is well appointed and perfectly situated, being a short walk to the cable car station, bus and train stations, and the centre of town. The open plan living and dining area is great. The floor to ceiling windows are also great especially as they open out onto the decking area. We highly recommend this chalet!

We were a group of 8 adults, the apartment had everything we needed. The host was amazing, we would definitely book again.

Outstanding accommodation.
The chalet was situated in the perfect location for everything you could need, skiing, eating & drinking. Lovely and clean with a private gated area at entrance, spacious and elegantly presented apartment it delivers on every level.
We couldn’t have asked for anymore. Odile the owner is very professional and personable which adds a lovely touch to your stay.
If for any reasons you had any further requirements there was no problem at all, and at a moments notice.
highly recommended if we were to ever return to Chamonix we would definitely re-book this apartment.

Loved our stay at the Coach House, would defo recommend!
7 adults stayed here for 4 nights, great space and loads of room, split levels so we weren’t living on top of each other. Had everything we needed and more. Great location, a minutes walk to shops, bars etc. Thanks Odile for all your help, fab hostess. Would love to come back for a second visit. Thanks again

A wonderful location and superbly presented accommodation.
A very spacious, comfortable and sociable living area/open plan kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly. Well equipped and in a perfect position for exploring Chamonix on foot

Very nice and modern apartment
We arrived quite a bit earlier than the 4pm check in time so the apartment was being cleaned and made ready for our arrival. The cleaners were very friendly and let us leave our bags in the apartment for a chance to have a look around the town and get a bite to eat.
Overall the apartment was very nice and well furnished with everything you would need for your stay including a washing machine.
The apartment is in a very nice location. close to restaurants and only a 4minute walk from the bus station which has frequent busses to the many ski resorts.
The only slight downfalls for the apartment stopping it from achieving a 5* rating are: Ants in the big downstairs bathroom. A few insects and bugs such as spiders, as well as some human hairs, in the bed in the downstairs bedroom on the right and finally very unstable and uncomfortable water temperatures in the showers.
All in all a very welcoming and nice apartment with some very minor issues. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great property in a fantastic location
We very much enjoyed staying in this property. The rooms were well sized and comfortable and we enjoyed the large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner area - it had plenty of space for everyone to relax/chat/cook/eat and the kitchen was well equipped. We were a group of 7 adults and 1 baby - the host was very welcoming and made sure there was a high chair and cot ready on arrival.
The location of the property is excellent, just minutes away from the Aguille du Midi cable car, 5 minutes walk away from the town centre. Staying near the Chamonix-Sud bus stop made it very convenient for us to get to the slopes in the different ski areas in the valley.
I would definitely recommend this property!

This was a large and well appointed house. It is perfect for a large family or small group of friends.
Our host, Odile, was terrific. She offered great recommendations for food and skiing.
The house is located in Chamonix South, very close to the main bus stop (very convenient!) and (one of) the ski area lifts.
I highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful home in Chamonix
A beautiful, well appointed, modern, clean, large apartment to serve as a base for exploring Mont Blanc trails and near-by parts of France, Switzerland, and Italy. Central to town, buses, trains, and trails. Good indoor and outdoor space. Very helpful, responsive owner. The Terrace is a gem, a lovely home for a family vacation!

An excellent place to stay in Chamonix!
I had the pleasure of staying at La Terrace apartment for Christmas with my sons and daughters-in-law, and the accommodation couldn’t have been better! The apartment was spacious and more than suitable for the five of us, and would have had room for at least two more people. The living room was big yet cosy, and the bedrooms were smartly located, providing us all with our own privacy for the nights. All the three bedrooms we used had their own bathrooms, which was wonderful. The whole place was very clean and tidy, there was a lot of storage space, several wardrobes and the kitchen was very well equipped. The location of the apartment was perfect in the heart of the town and within short walking distance anywhere. Odile was a fantastic host with all her friendly advice beforehand and at our arrival; we are most grateful to her for making our stay so lovely. Compared to the accommodation in Chamonix I stayed at a few years ago, and the ones I then visited, this was pure heaven. Recommend warmly!

Splendid base for Chamonix
The description and photographs suggested that the apartment was lovely, when we arrived, we found that these were absolutely spot on. It is right in the centre of the town which is brilliant for shopping or for the main cable lifts. There is everything you would need in the apartment which is in excellent condition. We would recommend this apartment and would definitely return and book it again.

Great for a summer break
We stayed in this apartment in July 2012. It is beautiful, clean and well equipped with plenty of space and comfortable beds. The wifi was fast and reliable. TV and DVD player were good. There is a terrace with a large table and a barbeque which we enjoyed, its hard to find places in Chamonix town with outdoor space. Restaurants and shops are a short walk away. There is an electric gate to the property which gives a nice feeling of security. Odile was really helpful when we had a problem and sorted us out. Chamonix is a great place for a summer holiday, the weather was amazing. I would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Lovely stay in Terrace Chateau des Sapins
We were 2 families traveling together and we stayed in the Terrace, 2 adults, 2 kids, for one week. Our friends were in the loft which is just above the terrace so great layout and location for us. . We loved it there! Very nice location easy walking distance into the town. Amenities great... Very up to date appliances, lots of cooking space, large fridge, etc. very clean. The only thing that was unclear to us is that there was no clothes dryer. There is a nice waher and a dishwasher but you need to bring your own detergent. I imagine it would be more difficult to wash skiing clothes etc in the winter and then expect them to be dry by morning. We hung clothes outdoors to dry them and this was easy in summer. Still very very nice place and no complaints! Would stay there again!

Fantastic self contained apartment in Chamonix
My family of 5 ( 3 children) stayed in the Terrace apartment for 7 days. The apartment is wonderfully located and is within easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. It is also very close to the Mont Blanc cable ride. The apartment is beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. We were lucky enough to experience snow and the views from the apartment were spectacular. Odile is lovely to deal with and very responsive. The apartment also has fantastic wifi access, the best in France that we experienced. I highly recommend this as the only place to stay in Chamonix, my children loved do much they are already planning our next stay.
