Ideaal voor vertrek met de trein richting Parijs

Vriendelijke ontvangst, sfeervolle accommodatie, gebruik goede keuken, fijne huiskamer, lekker doe het zelf ontbijt, dicht bij station, leuke wandeling naar het strand over boardwalk.

Beetje gehorig (deuren wc), moeilijk verduisteren.

Heerlijk!

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst, we voelden ons direct thuis! We hadden de kamer Etoiles met privé badkamer, goed bed en heerlijke douche met verschillende zeepjes. Gezamenlijke keuken waar je zelf je ontbijt mocht nemen. Lekkere verse vijgen uit de tuin. Er was brood , boter, madeleintjes, zoet beleg, fruitsappen, yoghurt, koffie en thee. Lidl op 500 meter. Gelegen in een heel mooie omgeving! Je kan te voet over de brug naar Irun of langs het water naar Hendaye plage. Op wandelafstand van het station. Wij waren heel tevreden!

Casa muy acogedora

Nos alojamos en pareja en la casita que tienen apartada y otros amigos en una de las habitaciones de la casa principal. Nuestra casita estaba muy bien, cuidado hasta el último detalle, aunque más pequeña que la habitación de nuestros compañeros. Las estancias disponen de todo lo necesario, se nota que le ponen mimo y están muy pendientes de que todo esté perfecto. Usamos la cocina de la casa principal y cenamos en el comedor. Todo muy limpio y decorado con mucho gusto. La anfitriona muy amable y dispuesta a ayudar en todo. Además habla muy bien inglés. Pudimos dejar las 4 bicicletas en el aparcamiento de la casita apartada :)

Nos gustó todo. Repetiríamos.

Bon équipement dans la cuisine. La grande pièce de vie. Le jardin doit être agréable l'été. La propreté Facile d'accès. Vue sur le jardin, pas de bruit de voiture, endroit calme Doit être bien en location de maison entière par contre.

Je trouve dommage qu'il y ait si peu de contacts, juste une présentation des lieux. Cela ne correspond pas à ce que j'attends d'une chambre d'hôtes. Je n'avais pas bien vu que tout était partagé, toilettes et SDB. Ca c'est de ma faute. Je trouve que ce n'est pas très bien insonorisé, même si les gens sont respectueux on entend un peu tous les bruits.

Very convenient overnight stay

We stayed here overnight as part of our train journey from London to Madrid. The property is about 15 minutes walk from the station, in daylight, a very pretty stroll along the riverside boardwalk. We received a very friendly welcome and explanation of the shared breakfast facilities. The room was warm and comfortable and good value for money. Would be happy to do this again.

Accueil et services de qualité. très bon séjour.

La propriétaire est très à l'ecoute et flexible (j'ai du changer la date de mon séjour à la derniere minute). Elle vous envoie un SMS à l'avance pour vous donner toutes les indications dont vous avez besoin. La cuisine indépendante de celle des propriétaires est parfaitement aménagée et le petit déjeuner (compris dans le prix) est tout à fait correct.

Highly recommend, better than any hotel

So comfortable in every way, great bedding, beautifully decorated throughout, breakfast was fresh breads,butter, jams, fruit, yoghurt, cakes, awesome coffee machine with tasty coffee, tea, olive oil and salt to use, full kitchen with cooking equipment, awesome heaters throughout, top floor of the house plus another level upstairs to sit, with only one other room rented, bath and shower, towels, complete privacy and respectful host, walk to everything and all the way to the next town by waterfront path or across Bridge 5 minutes to Spain

Propriétaire très sympathique et attentive à nos besoins . Celle ci nous a fourni au long de notre séjour des renseignements et adresses afin de profiter au mieux de la région . Nous avons également apprécié la grande discrétion et la gentillesse des personnes de passage dans cet établissement .

Great place to stay, a real home from home

Great location, not far from the train station, the walk to the beach is just fantastic, using the cycle track on the doorstep. Plenty of birdlife to view along the way as you make your way along the seafront. Like a home from home, with plenty provided for continental breakfast and facilities to use during your stay. Host very welcoming and happy to help. Views from room were stunning, mountains and tidal river, even looking good while bad weather rolled in.

Would have been nice having on-suite bathroom, as doors a little noisy when opening/closing during the night. Did not see enough of the town in the time I was there.

Très bien, proche de la velodyssee

Le gîte est proche de la Velodyssee, il est possible de se rendre à la plage en 15 min. Antonina est très gentille et nous a permis de poser nos sacs avant 15 heures dans le salon. Le petit déjeuner est en libre service, ce qui est très pratique et permets de le prendre à l’heure que l’on veut.

Es war für uns perfekt.

Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und neu. Das Frühstück und die Möglichkeit der Küchennutzung ist super!

Leider war es nicht möglich Räder auszuleihen, da diese gestohlen wurden.

Location was very good as was the welcome

For some reason, on our second night there the radiator in our room was boiling hot. We turned it off but opening windows led to some insects flying in. In the morning, we found that other radiators in the building had also come on. Not sure why or how this occurred. We left early so did not find out what had happened. The property is lovely and very tranquil. I guess this was a blip of some kind.

Lovely hotel, the kitchen is well equipped and there’s plenty to eat for breakfast.

Very clean and fresh feeling.

I left the windows open and got bitten by mosquitoes. I should have left the window closed and used the fan that had been left in the room.

Practical place to stay, super host!

10 mins from the station and near the river. Lovely walk/ cycle into town. Very pretty garden. Host was friendly and efficient. Kindly let me pick peaches from her tree.

A great overnight stay before our onwards journey to Bilbao!

Breakfast was wonderful. The coffee is good 😌 and the fresh bread tasty! The house is beautiful and Antonina is the perfect host. Lovely views from the bedroom. The communal areas are lovely and kitchen has good facilities. There’s even a place to store bikes safely. Would highly recommend!

Convenient for Hendaye station. They have bikes and it is right next to a great route to Hendaye Plage, which is a good beach. Very light and friendly.

Excellent

The owner was extremely kind & helpful. The house is beautiful with a fabulous garden and lovely views of the mountains. The facilities in the kitchen were really good. The accommodation is environmentally-friendly. Although we were not there long enough to make use of the bikes, it is great that the accommodation has them available. There were also recycling facilities. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to others and would return if the opportunity arose.

I spent only one night here, but I enjoyed it a lot! I felt very welcome, the room and facilities were great and I used one of the bikes to ride to the beach.
