This one is one of the best we’ve stayed in! Christy was excellent to work with - very responsive and great to communicate with! The front door has easy access with a key pad. We appreciated the 3pm check-in and noon check-out - and she even let us know it was ready for an even earlier check-in. Parking was convenient - two dedicated spots close to the front door (note that you do need to walk up steps to get inside the front door). It was very clean and nice. Extra towels in both bathrooms. A nice, big selection of games and DVDs - and the TV was easy to use. They provided some tea, hot cocoa, and microwave popcorn plus a bag of welcome cookies! We stayed in the summer (it was unusually hot with several days at 94 degrees) and the AC was great. The wifi worked great. We didn’t realize how warm the bedrooms would get with the morning sun - they provide pull-down shades to keep the rooms dark and cool. The only downside that I can think to mention is that it’s a small home - it might be a factor if you have a group that all happen to all be big adults as opposed to a family of 5 with small kids - it was all just fine, but I mention it in case you’re looking for a bigger, spacious rental. The beds were surprisingly soft (if you love soft beds, you’ll be in heaven!!). We discovered another great restaurant - our favorites are now Persnikkity’s, The House, and Pitalian. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to recommend this VRBO to stay in - it was great and we’d definitely stay again!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Honey Bear Hollow cabin. We loved that there was a park right across the street for our little grandson to play in. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The furniture was comfy and the fireplace just gave the touch of cabin life. The back porch was lovely and we enjoyed playing outside games while looking at the beautiful trees. Plenty of things to do and many restaurants and bars very close to the cabin!! The cabin was very clean and very well supplied! We had a wonderful time and would definitely go there again!! Five stars!!!! Thanks for the little gift bag as well!!

LOVE the cabin and the location. The cabin has a warm, cozy Christmas feel to it, just loved the ambiance of the place. Every detail was thought out just perfectly. We enjoyed the park across the street. Short drive to the main strip of Show Low, neighborhood super quiet. A perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Phoenix. Would rent and stay again. Host was gracious with an early check in.

This is a beautiful cabin that is very close to town. Great back porch to relax on and read amongst the squirrels and trees. Truly enjoyed our time here. The communication with the hosts was outstanding! Very helpful.

Our family of 5 (2 Adults, 3 children ages 3 months to 6 years old) had a fantastic time at the Honeybear Hollow Cabin! We had plenty of space, the house was clean, stocked with everything we needed and the weather was great! Nice and cool with some access to some snow that was still around from a winter storm the week before. We will absolutely be returning for another stay, hopefully for a few days longer next time!

The home was great! It was just as described and the area is so perfect! My wife and I got the much needed rest and relaxation we needed. We did spend a couple hours riding quads in the forest right next door... but most of our time was spent reading, watching a little TV, and just relaxing. We did enjoy a few restaurants as well (Charlie Clarks is our favorite!).

We had a lovely time. My daughter and her friend were able to go fishing at Fool Hollow Lake that was very close and still make it back in time to rest before going horseback riding at Porter Stables. This cabin has it all! You can’t beat the location either. Easy access to everything.

This cabin was absolutely gorgeous! The owner's were so great at communicating and sent us a manual ahead of time so we knew what we needed to bring, everything we needed to know about the cabin, things to do around the city and so much more. Since this was our first time using Vrbo we were hesitant but the cabin was exactly what was shown. The owner's have little cards all around to help guests find things around the cabin and it made the trip so much easier. We loved our experience and will more than likely book again!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The neighborhood is so pretty and the neighbors are very friendly! The cottage is wonderful in every aspect. The beds are very comfortable and the decor is adorable. Loved the fireplace and the very detailed information about all the things to do in the area. Folks Hollow was a super fun place to go for a walk and enjoy the lake. No detail is missed. The home is very well appointed with toiletries, spices, condiments in the fridge, lots of games and movies. The park across the street is fun for younger kids and furry friends. We will definitely be returning!!!

You could “work” from home here!The owners were delightful and helpful and responded instantly to any inquiry. We really came to like them!5 stars for this rental, absolutely. Honeybear Hollow Cabin has everything you could think of! The owners paid great attention to detail to ensure you have an enjoyable vacation. It was immaculate! I enjoyed my coffee by the stone fireplace in the mornings, while our son enjoyed his own perfect getaway of a room! He is only 4, but loved having books, movies, games, a view of the playground from his very own bunk bed! We enjoyed playing games (they have so many to choose from!) by the fire each night. We took starlit walks after dinner in the peaceful neighborhood, which was unbelievable! We came across wild horses on the Los Caballos trail, which is a trail nearby the neighborhood. We watched snow lightly fall while sitting outside on patio of the beautiful cabin. This place is a gem!!!

We regularly rent these type of homes and honestly, this is the best we’ve ever had. The minute you walk in the quality stands out!A beautiful gas fireplace with a timer that won’t allow you to forget (ok, we’re old ) to turn it off. Beds and bedding are absolutely delightful, we slept like babies! The bathrooms were CLEAN and well stocked. Comfortable recliner couches all over the living room, most leather and one opens into another bed. Full access TV, we would have stayed in under blankets snoozing in those comfy chairs but we forced ourselves out into the amazing surroundings. Definitely go out and walk/hike. The kitchen is stocked with everything you’d have in your own home, we lacked nothing. The dining table is a work of art!The deck is a pretty extension of the cabin. The owners are helpful, friendly and went out of their way to reschedule us when our first plans fell through when we got turned around due to excessive snowfall in northern AZ. I loved Christy, she responds immediately and she’s just lovely. Rent this cabin and enjoy peace of mind!
