Wouldn’t stay again

Bed was comfy

Room was freezing, breakfast was absolutely awful we had to leave it, I’ve never ever tasted anything so cheap and cooked to such a poor standard. Toilet didn’t flush properly. 1 large towel between 2 people.

Beautiful place, very well taken care of with touches of beauty everywhere

The room was big and really comfortable, so was the bed - the best sleep on my trip across Scotland

We asked to check out 30 min later and were refused

Quarto espaçoso e confortável em estado impecável. Vista directa sobre o Lago. Pequeno Almoço com diversidade e bem servido, também com uma excelente vista. Proximidade ao centro (5-10 minutos a pé) e simpatia do Staff foram bónus muito apreciados, sendo que acabámos por extender a estadia para uma noite extra.

Perfect.

Dora the owner is the most wonderful person I have ever met in my entire life. We had a terrible car accident during our stay in the Highlands and she and her staff have been so helpful, supportive and reassuring. Dora helped us like she was our own family, she is an absolute gem. In addition to everything she did for us, I just want to say that the place is beautiful, lovely, well arranged, and ideally located in Fort William. You will be lucky to stay at this place during your vacation. We will definitely go back there for our next stay in Fort William. Dora, thank you so so much again for your kindness and your humanity toward us.

Thank you for your understanding and help

The staff were very helpful and accomodating. The breakfast lady brilliant. Easy short walk into Main Street for shops and restaurants. Nice view from the rooms and breakfast. They have a few buildings as part of their facilities.

We arrived tired and grumpy from a very long day travelling. After going up 3 flights of stairs, Our room was cold and wiFi not working and we couldn’t bare to take our cases up so we asked for a different room. The staff were very understanding and obliged giving us a great apartment.

Spacious, clean and well lit room with a fantastic view, reasonably priced in a quiet location.

We liked the spacious and well lit room. The view was fantastic and it was very quiet. Bathroom facilities are fabulous and the beds comfortable. Prices are very reasonable and we'll certainly come back when we are in the area.

There's really nothing to complain. Breakfast portions (cereals & joghurt) were rather small but one can probably ask for more ;)

The Guest House was very clean and comfortable with nice size rooms. Breakfast was excellent and then hosts very friendly and accommodating.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié tout de cet établissement. Les chambres sont superbes, tout est très propre. Nous avons très rarement vu un hôtel aussi soigné ! La magnifique vue, l’emplacement idéal pour visiter la vallée de Glencoe. Ça a été un réel coup de cœur pour nous. L’accueil est irréprochable. Petit déjeuner délicieux et la dame qui sert est d’une extrême gentillesse. Bref, n’hésitez pas une seule seconde, vous ne serez pas déçu 🤍

Loved this place. Beautiful grounds, comfortable beds, elegant, clean, great Loch view. Breakfast was outstanding. 100% recommend. Lovely staff.

Tolle Lage, klassisches B&B, super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, lediglich der Wasserdruck der Dusche könnte besser sei

Man bekommt alles was man von einem englischen B&B erwartet und die Lsge ist top.

A very arrogant owner - faulty towers comes to mind

The property was lovely but the owner had handwritten the booking into her diary for the wrong date and she wanted to blame everyone else for her mistake.

Luxury and cozyness

Beautiful, luxurious and cosy - not only the room but all of the house.

Check-in only until 10pm - and this is not clear in the message sent by the staff. The message says “reception open since 1pm to 10pm” and not that you must check-in until 10pm (in many guest houses, there are lockers to keep the keys or the keys may be placed somewhere so the guests arriving later may enter their rooms). It was not the case. We called around 7:30pm to explain why we would arrive later and the lady that answered the call was uncomprehensive and rude. Luckily, everything worked and We loved our stay.

Absolutely exquisite! Felt a bit like staying in a castle.

The house, room and grounds were exceptional. Simply beautiful! It felt like staying in a grand manor house of old. See the pictures. Exquisite. The breakfast was great, and the staff were also great. Loved this place.

very nice guest house! the room was really nice and cosy, the bed was big and comfortable. located on the main street a few minutes walk from the city center. great breakfast included in the room rate. stunning view of the lake from the room

The breakfast was very nice with a nice healthy option with fresh fruit and yogurt, the breakfast room with a very nice view to the lake. Location was excellent and everything very clean.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay!

The beds were SO comfy, the room was welcoming and gorgeously decorated and the shower was powerful and hot (I didn't want to get out!) We had a lovely warm welcome and at breakfast the food and service was excellent. We were so pleased they also offered gluten free toast (the very good kind). Stunning views onto Loch Linnhe (we had a back bedroom but stepping out onto the view was gorgeous). Fantastic location as just a short walk to high street and even shorter walk to the pier for boat tours.

The car park was full when we arrived, and the additional parking area was quite unclear - it looked like the driveway of a private house, and it was busy with a van parked close to the lane, and what looked like a open workshop. A confusing arrival, but we made it into the car park eventually.
