The Tree House comes fully equipped with everything you need for a holiday Down South, including a spacious kitchen, all linen, a bbq area, deck with ocean views and even gear like a bikes, surfboards or fishing rods provided upon request. The only thing you need do is unwind!
Tree House booked? Ask me about "Old School Yallingup", available selected weeks in school holidays. Interested in a "Glamping" experience? Ask me about our caravan for hire "Yallingup Daze"!
There are two levels with a steep wooden staircase between. Great for two families to stay and still have a level each, if you want some chill time. Down stairs includes the main family room, kitchen, three bedrooms and both bathrooms. There's also a bbq area out the back, with a grassed area where the kids can run amok while you kick back and enjoy a well-deserved drink. Upstairs hosts the second family room, two bedrooms and the deck, which has views of the bay on both sides. Since this is set up for holiday stays, you'll have access to the entire space. I provide all linen including bath and beach towels, and there is Wifi, Smart TVs with Netflix, DVD players, a large range of DVDs, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, blender, slow cooker, toasty machine, microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer, hair dryer, big free standing bath, high chairs, cots, BBQ, indoor wood fire, outdoor chiminea, outdoor bar fridge (please just ask me to turn it on for you), outdoor hot water shower, books, magazines and board games available for guest use. A wide range of organic/environmentally friendly/socially conscious personal and cleaning products are also provided (e.g. hand wash, hand lotion, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, essential oils, bath salts etc.). Surfboards, bikes, fishing rods, fishing tackle and extra baby gear can be provided if you need it. Just let me know in advance. If you have to do a bit of work during your stay, there is also a laptop stand, mouse, keyboard and ethernet cables. One basket of firewood is provided free of charge, full access to Eve’s wood shed can be purchased for $15 per day.
I live just 15 mins drive away in Yallingup, so can be on hand if required. I can give you tips on the best wineries, breweries, beaches and surf locations; whatever you need, just ask!
Down South WA is full of outdoor adventure and world-class wineries. With mountain bike tracks and bush walks at the back door, hiking trails up the coast, world class surf breaks just around the corner, beautiful beaches everywhere and great fishing spots nearby there is plenty to do for active souls. If you prefer to simply chill out and unwind there are loads of excellent wineries, good breweries and quaint galleries to explore. Please note that the neighbourhood is very quiet, so wild parties are a definite no no. But, feel free to enjoy a sip on the deck while listening to some relaxing tunes.
A car is definitely the best option if you want to fully explore the region, but if you are happy to just chill around Dunsborough I can provide some bikes to help you get around.
The hot water is not limitless - large bookings need to be prepared to take short showers or plan showers in shifts to allow the hot water to build up again after high use.
Base prices (for up to 4 guests) vary with the season as follows, plus the 5.5% VRBO commission and a $200 cleaning fee.
Low season (May, June, July, August, September): $250 per night

High season (December and October school holidays): $320 per night

The minimum stay during January school holidays is 7 days. The minimum stay during April, July and October school holidays is 5 nights. The minimum stay otherwise is 3 nights, although a 2 night stay may be considered subject to availability - just ask Eve.
Extra large group? Talk to me about booking both The Tree House and Kookaburra Cottage (next door).

Overall we had a lovely stay at this property. Eve was very welcoming and communication was easy and prompt. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed.
It did take a bit of getting used to the limited hot water (when Mums go away child free we rather like a nice long hot shower or soak in the tub) and the ladies sleeping upstairs found the beds quite noisy and a bit uncomfortable but other than these two minor things we really enjoyed our stay 🙂

The perfect place to have a few days away from the hassle and bustle of life.
Eve made the whole experience simple and straight forward.
All the little things we readily available because Eve was two steps ahead of us.
This is a great place to stay.

We’ve been holidaying in this area for years and this is a great spot- next to Meelup Regional Park, a short bike ride or walk down to Old Dunsborough and the beach, with good walking tracks nearby. You can walk across the golf course to the beach (but watch out for mountain bikes).
The house is really nice - two stories with several decks which are nice at different times of day, depending on the sun and the breeze, with varying garden/bush/bay outlooks. Separate aircon units in the living area on each floor were very effective. The upper floor catches the sea breeze and was surprisingly cool, even in January. Lots of space for our big family (5 older kids) with two living areas and it was our dog’s favourite holiday house so far! The place was immaculately clean and Eve was great.
The only downside was that during hot weather, some of the bedrooms were hot overnight, but this is common in holiday homes in the south west in January so not unexpected. It was manageable by running the aircon overnight with bedroom doors open on hot nights, or opening screen doors to the breeze on cooler nights. We were happy with the house, tried to rebook for next year but someone had beaten us to it!

Very clean spacious property
We were a group of six ladies in our sixties/seventies on a 3 day break from Perth.
The house is very clean and spacious with a really well equipped kitchen and laundry and the living areas are lovely with a leather corner unit big enough to seat the six of us comfortably in one of them and another seating arrangement in the one upstairs. There was also a nice big wooden dining table with eight leather chairs. Also three large verandas again with plenty of comfortable seating. Three of the bedrooms had queen beds and the other two had single beds and a bunk bed which would probably be better suited to people a little smaller than us.
Overall a perfect arrangement for one or two families with children.
Our host, Eve, was so nice and so easy to communicate with. Altogether a very pleasant experience.

The property was well situated. My husband was mountain biking on the nearby tracks. We could walk the dogs to the beach down the laneways. Boys drove off to surf. The outdoor shower was handy. The house was very comfortable. Plenty of room. Beds comfortable, nice bed linen. Plenty of towels. Had air conditioning for those really hot days. Good size kitchen, cooked the Christmas lunch. The house was welcoming with Christmas tree and decorations. A lovely touch. The house had lots of utensils, useful equipment, coffee machine which was well utilised. Eve was easy to communicate with and ensured our Xmas stay was great. Our family loved our stay.

The house had everything we needed , was secure for our dog with gates all the way around! Lovely quiet location , beautiful look out on the top balcony! Would definitely recommend to anyone and would also return ourselves
