About this house rental
Enjoy a relaxing break in a comfortable and peaceful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, surrounded by wide verandahs, beautiful gardens and trees. On a 1.5 acre block, your closest neighbours are the visiting kangaroos. While the property can sleep up to six, it is not suitable for more than 4 adults as the two second bedrooms are small. The property is in easy walking distance of the inlet. The town centre is less than 4km away and can be accessed along the road or a trail that connects with the Bibbulmun track. A securely fenced back garden and with trails at your doorstep, this is a truly dog-friendly escape for the whole family. Please note though, if you have dog allergies, this may not be the place for you, although we do our best.

The property was great and seriously dog-friendly, the only drawback being having to drive to the beach - Rafferty luuurves beaches. We had some memorable meals in and around Denmark; we can recommend Flame Trees for a special occasion and Tarifo (tapas and superb wines). The live music there was great, the paella very tasty, the place was heaving and we were the only tourists! Also recommended, The Lake House for lunch and a superb riesling.

We enjoyed our stay at Ben's Den. The garden surroundings are stunning and it is close to town and walking trails. Great location for sightseeing in Denmark. Also pet friendly and the garden is gated. The property is quiet and comfortable plus clean. We would stay again if in Denmark.

Bears Den was well located and close to everything Denmark has to offer.
The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a refresh.
The carpets needed a good cleaning, as with the kitchen.
Overall it had all the facilities you require for a good stay.
Would still recommend for stay.

Bears Den is dog friendly & beautifully located amongst trees and with many walk trails in the area. On Denmark township outskirts and on the Ocean & Lights Beaches side of town, it is so convenient. New beds were of very high quality, and the house has everything you may require by way of amenities. Dont expect 5 star, but rather a very good value holiday older home in a quiet location that ticks all the boxes. We were very grateful for reasonable tariff at peak time and the most wonderful secure facility for adventurous dogs. Wildlife abounds, which can be enjoyed from either the sunny verandah or a very large back patio surrounded by timber. The visitors' book was full of comments of people hoping to return. Great location amongst the trees and beautiful garden. Our tall son gave his bed 1 star because his legs were hanging out the end but he likes to be a bit dramatic and he’s not THAT tall. The only thing that we missed were some tongs and a bbq cleaning set. Thank you for opening your home to us. We all loved Denmark.

Convenient, well-equipped and comfortable. Bear's Den is a great hideaway in nature whilst being situated close to great beaches, walking trails and a pleasant walk into town. The property is very dog friendly with a secure fenced garden area to explore and large undercover patio area. Highly recommended.

Basically a reasonably ok accomodation BUT the inside and outside needs a severe clean. Lots of spiders webs inside property. Lots of pet hair everywhere on cushions, curtains and rug. BBQ fit for tip not for cooking…rust and concealed fat and grease all over it. Outside cushions very grubby.

We have stayed at Bear’s Den twice and have enjoyed our stays very much. The enclosed garden makes it very easy for us to have our three little dogs with us. Much appreciated this time was having the Chromecast facility which overcomes the sometimes unclear TV signal. We could not ask for a more welcoming holiday residence.

Loverly place for arelaxing stay . Good and clean. Also has every thing you could need . Enclosed garden area is perfect for pets . No car hoons , sirens or traffic noise . Will be back again .

Beautiful little spot and cozy house very clean. Back garden is just stunning same with front garden fur babies had a great time. Although beds were uncomfortable the house was great location, clean, had everything you need, and allows the whole family to cone along. Thankyou so much :)

Overall we were satisfied with our choice. The property is basic and suited our stay. In time would get a lick of paint and a tidy in the patio area (some worn out mats ans seats). The garden is overgrown and a 'fairy land'. Some Wrens were sighted!

Kim was very informative about the property and we really enjoyed our stay, only thing we could suggest is giving the outside of the property a good clean with a pressure cleaner and pest spray as we noticed quite a few spiderwebs and cockroaches, otherwise everything else was perfect.

Amazing spot for bird watxhing especially kookaburras and wrens. The property was great for our dog and friend when he visited. They loved the run around. Lovely gardens and well fenced.
Would have been nice if outside entertaining was better maintained. BBq and the outdoor dining set in particular.

We had a lovely stay at Bears Den. A cute home with everything we needed. The location was fantastic, private and tucked away yet close to walks and bike tracks. We enjoyed sitting under the front verandah, admiring the beautiful gardens.

A wonderful peaceful location for this property.
The house was warm and cosy and met all our needs.
Our two dogs settled quickly and enjoyed the amazing walk trails close by.
A beautiful garden, and we loved the morning wake up call with the sounds of the Kookaburra :-)

Relaxed short stay.
We had a wonderful few nights in Denmark and our dog thoroughly loved wandering around the gardens. House was perfect for our needs. Would recommend to anyone wishing to visit Denmark/Albany. The only disadvantage we found to be the lack of take away Restaurants at night. A lot of shops closed at 3pm. We put this down to the season.

We enjoyed our stay in Feb 2022, good location, great beaches for the dog, little hiccup with not being able to get any TV reception or watch any movies, ( not that we go away to watch TV all the time) but would have been nice to settle in with a movie afeter a day out on the beach with our dog!

The best family holiday!
Bears den was amazing. So close to everything but at the same time so secluded. We were able to ride our bikes into town along bush tracks and to the river where the kids had a ball. Close access to the inlet snd short drive to beaches. The dog had the best holiday too. Would highly recommend this property for families.
