About this house rental
Enjoy an old Austin feel in downtown Austin's backyard. Pristine home near just about everything Austin has to offer - SXSW, ACL, Formula 1 and COTA shuttle, Austin Film Festival, downtown district, Hike and Bike trail around Lady Bird Lake, Barton Springs, coffee houses, the flagship Whole Foods, eclectic shops, and wonderful restaurants (Clark's Oyster Bar, Jeffrey's, Bar Peached, Better Half, Swedish Hill and Caffe Medici, just for starters).
In the middle of it all, yet on a quiet street in the charming and historic old Austin neighborhood of Clarksville.
The house features high ceilings, plenty of natural light, hardwood floors, a full open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, two living areas (both with flat screen TVs and one with a gas fireplace), a lovely back patio, and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer (and plenty of detergent!).
The house comfortably sleeps 8 people; a queen bedroom downstairs, and three bedrooms upstairs - the master, with a king bed (and a master bathroom with a big tub and walk-in shower), a queen bedroom, and an additional bedroom with a king size bed. The upstairs, split level living room/den has a sectional sofa and is a great place for lounging and TV watching.
We have a lot of the comforts of home - wireless internet, blow dryers, laundry detergent, shampoo and soaps - and strive to keep the house clean and well stocked.
We’re very happy, whenever possible, to accommodate early check-in and late check-out, and are available for any and all questions before and during your stay, both by phone and via email.
There is parking for two cars in the garage and two cars on the driveway in front of the garage.

This was a perfect choice for our girls' weekend. We were able to walk just about anywhere we wanted to go - including some really good restaurants! I read reviews stating that the house was very well stocked and they were not wrong! Molly was so accommodating and responsive; she made it easy and comfortable from start to finish.

My family and I traveled to Austin to view the solar eclipse and stayed in this beautiful home for a week. It was spacious and comfortable for my husband and I, my parents and 3 kids ages 13,10, and 8. The beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and lovely outdoor patio. The location couldn't be better. We loved that the neighborhood was cute and quiet, yet we could walk to the downtown area, Whole Foods, and great restaurants when we chose to. Our host Molly shared wonderful restaurant suggestions and we were impressed with all of them we had a chance to try. We had an amazing trip to Austin and would absolutely stay here again! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

We have stayed in VRBOs all over the US and a few outside, and I can confidently say this one was the best equipped and came with the very best hosts. We wanted to spend Xmas with our daughter in Austin (traveling from the east coast) and hoped to create a homey family-feeling in a space we’d never been. Thanks to Molly, it worked! She was so helpful with EVERY aspect right down to furnishing a tree. She provided numerous spot-on suggestions and even answered my questions on Xmas Eve. The location, the interior, etc were all as pleasing as described in other reviews. What is unique about this property is the attention to detail by the owners to ensure an exceptional experience for the visitors. We wouldn’t consider staying elsewhere in Austin now that we’ve experienced all that this home and its owners offer.

The property was perfect and the proximity to our meeting couldn't have been better. Her home was warm and cozy. We felt right at home. She had the house stocked with just about everything you would need. Molly was wonderful to work with and I would stay there again if the opportunity arises. I highly recommend this property. It is close to downtown Austin and great restaurants and tourist attractions.

We rented this beautiful home to attend an University of Texas football game and it was exactly as advertised. Communication with Molly was super easy and really fun. Great location just west of downtown with bars and restaurants a short walk away. Couldn’t more highly recommend.

We had our family vacation (6 adults & 2 kids) in Austin and this beautiful home was perfect for our visit! The home was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The multiple levels provide space for everyone to gather together or find a quiet spot to read a book. There were two of the most amazing parks for the kids close to the home and a ton of restaurants/bars/bakeries within walking distance for the adults. Most of which had really nice outdoor seating available.
Molly is hands down the best owner that we have dealt with! She provided so many ideas and recommendations for dining/activities that definitely enhanced our family vacation. She was also incredibly accommodating for any/all requests we threw her way. I just can’t overstate what a pleasure it was to rent from Molly! I give the highest recommendation for this home and will absolutely return if we make a repeat visit to Austin!

The house was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was great and felt safe to walk around in and accessible to many things without a car. Molly was a wonderful host, very communicative with a lot of recommendations. Nice touches like having water ready for us when we arrived and shampoo in the showers. We felt taken care of!!

The house comfortably fit four couples with each having either a queen or king size bed. The house was spacious and we were able to comfortably sit inside or outside. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I have stayed at. Very nice amenities that included laundry detergent, plenty of toilet paper, coffee, condiments, fresh cream for our coffee and a bottle of wine.
We were within walking distance of downtown and a great Whole Foods store. We took Uber or Lyft easily and cheaply when not in the mood for walking.
Molly was very communicative, responsive and accommodating.

We came in town for UT graduation. The house was great!. Large rooms with plenty of space to spread out. It was clean and organized. Pantry stocked with necessities. Nice backyard patio. 2 car garage parking + driveway. Close to everything. Great communication with owner. Highly recommend!

Thus is a beautiful home in a great neighborhood with many fun things to do and places to eat nearby. The house is very clean and comfortable. It was fully stocked with everything you could need. Molly our host was very easy to communicate with.. Highly recommend choosing this home for your Austin stay!

Four couples on a trip shared this amazing house. The hostess was wonderful and very responsive to questions not only about the house, but also the area. Some cute places within walking distance to eat. Short ubers to restaurants, bars, music and all. The kitchen was fully stocked with any needed cooking ware. We sat on the back porch and enjoyed the warm sun and cocktails. We would DEFINITELY return again.

This home is spacious, very clean and so comfortable! You cannot beat the location, so close to downtown but also close and easy highway access!
Molly was amazing to work with and so understanding when my clumsy son accidentally broke something. You will not regret staying in this home. The kitchen and bathrooms were so well stocked you won’t need to bring a thing. Beds, lines and towels were perfect, plentiful and super comfortable. We are so glad we booked this home instead of a hotel for our daughter’s wedding!

Fantastic property with great host - Close to everything!
The property is in a quiet area, but many key sites are still walkable. It is incredibly well stocked (kitchen, baths, etc), designed with a great design.
We stay here whenever possible on our trips to Austin and it has never disappointed. Incredibly nice and responsive hosts make it even better in case you need ideas or have any questions!

Faboulous!
Our little group of women travel every year and usually stay at VRBO's. I can say that this experience was absolutely the best of the best! Molly, owner and hostess, went beyond all expectations by working very hard to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The home is beautiful, impeccable, well stocked, and in an excellent location close to many restaurants and stores. The worst part of the experience was having to leave.

Super fun visit to Austin!
We had the best time staying here! A group of three couples spent a long weekend together and had a wonderful time at Molly's house. Walkable location, easy to get an Uber if desired, TONS to do and see! Molly was incredibly easy to contact, checked in prior to and during our trip. Would definitely stay here again if coming to Austin with a group!

Weekend get-away in Austin in September
The house was big and beautiful and fully stocked with more things than you would ever need. The beds were comfortable and nice to have all queen and king size. We enjoyed the backyard and we were a quick Uber ride to all the main attractions. Molly was quick to respond to any questions and offered a lot of great suggestions. I highly recommend this rental!

Really awesome place! Better than pictures!
First of all, I never write reviews, honestly just too lazy. But I really had such a great experience with this rental so I had to make an exception!
Molly was the host and she was incredible! Communication from her was wonderful, she sent me an amazing document of recommendations for our trip months in advance, she offered additional advice if I ever wanted it, she made exceptions for letting my girls check in early who flew in from out of town and landed early, I had a package delivered and she brought it inside the house for me. We texted about the house and our needs for our trip and arrival times and answered all of my questions super prompt. 5 starts for her alone.
The house looked nice on the listing, but it’s honestly so much better in person!! The furniture and decor and quality is so nice, far better than any rental I have had. I think she may live there when she doesn’t rent it out or something? Because it is fully stocked, VERY homey and comfortable, kitchen was full stocked, everything you could think of. Random, but there were a ton of hangers in the (massive) closets, which I love because a lot of rentals have big closets and no hangers to hang clothes on.
I didn’t feel like I was in a rental, it felt like I was in a nice home, plus the house is BIG and very spacious. It was 8 girls for a bachelorette party and as far as common areas, there was plenty of space and not crowded at all. And slept us very comfortably as well. All the furniture (couch’s beds chairs everything) was very nice, beds were super comfortable. Back patio and yard is cute, wish we had time to hang out there.
The neighborhood was very nice, on a street with really nice houses, and very close to downtown, quick easy Uber/Lyft away. Plenty of stuff that is also walkable. Would definitely go back and rent this same house again!!

Wish we could have stayed longer
Molly the host was so accommodating with information about the area & left our group many extras including water, coffee, and other adult beverages. The place was exactly how it was presented and we all thought it was a lovely home. Location was very walkable to great restaurants, Whole Foods, and very close to downtown. Girls’ Trip
Molly’s home is spacious and well appointed. We especially loved the large kitchen and living room for group gatherings. And the patio was great for morning sun.
The location is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, bars and parks. Yet the neighborhood is quiet.
As an owner Molly has thought of everything. She was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Wonderful location, beautiful property
We loved our family stay in this beautiful property. We walked to pick up breakfast food and snacks, very easy walk to the parks around Ladybird Lake and convenient location to fun attractions. It was spotlessly clean and had every convenience. Molly was wonderful communicating before and during our stay and left bottled water and coffee/milk/condiments. There were even conveniences like umbrellas! It was a luxurious home.

Great Location
Beautiful home! It was perfect for our family of four adult couples. Kitchen very well equipped. The location was ideal. We could easily walk to downtown and there were lots of restaurants very close to property. We would definitely stay here again!
