Goed geregend met tour en faciliteiten

Privé kamer netjes, en faciliteiten goed

We hebben er 2 nachten verbleven met een tour er tussen in dus 2x schoongemaakte kamers en de eerste nacht zat het putje vol met zwarte haren en de tweede keer vonden we ook veel zwarte haren en wij zijn beide blond hahaha

Doppelzimmer mit Balkon. Betten waren gut.

Zimmer hatte keine Aircondition. Schlafen war durch die Hitze im Zimmer (trotz Ventilator) schwierig.

From booking a two night chilled stay we ended up with a one night stay from hell. Been broken into two times in one nig

Staff where helpful

We booked freedom for two nights with the plan to have a few chilled nights before travelling to airlie beach. On arrival the hostel seemed ok however it was noticed that it needed a lot of work doing. Upon checking into the room the back patio doors could not be locked and did not fully close meaning the room was filled with bugs. Once we got to sleep at around midnight we was woken to our door been kicked in by three drunk lads. Half an hour later our door was kicked in again. From speaking to staff they moved us rooms and said they would look into it. Although staff couldn’t do anything about our room been broken into I feel like security at freedom is lacking. Anyone can walk into the hostel, cameras do not cover certain areas of the hostel and they have no security on a night. I have stayed in many hostels in Australia which have first class security, cameras all over, night guards and high fences to prevent anyone from climbing over. I will not be booking this hostel again and I urge anyone staying there to check there doors to make sure they are secure. Many of the doors are damaged and although they lock with a little push they will open. Again this is nothing against the staff on duty at the time, they where really helpful and I was given a full refund.

Wenn man keine Küche braucht und ein Zimmer mit AC bekommt, würde ich es wieder buchen

Ich hatte zwei Nächte in diesem Hostel gebucht um eine Tagestour nach K‘Gari zu machen. Ich hatte Glück und ein Zimmer mit Klimaanlage bekommen, nicht jedes Zimmer hatte eine. Das Zimmer hatte ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche. Die Lage war gut, aber Rainbow Beach ist auch nicht so groß.

Musste bei der Kategorie Sauberkeit leider ein Punkt abziehen, weil die Küche sehr dreckig und unordentlich war. Die Zimmer waren dagegen sauber

La gentillesse du personnel, le jardin, et la localisation. L’arrêt du Greyhound bus est juste devant !! :)

La propreté de la vaisselle et des ustensiles.. il y a également beaucoup de mouches..

Great location and comfy beds

The place was huge and well equipped for a lot of people, each dorm had its own bathroom- the happy hour at the bar was cheap and the staff were friendly! Comfy beds too

The kitchen was very dirty and the fridges were really full, there was also not much equipment to cook with but enough to get by!

Very unpleasant experience.

Bathroom was filthy as was the floor of the bathroom. Kitchen facilities were absolutely filthy. Unable to use them as they were so dirty and unhygienic. Pool was scummy.

Pleasant

The hostel has a perfect location with closeness to greyhound bus stop, K'gari tours pick up location and the beach. I needed some help with lockers since I was going to K'gari, and the staff was super nice and helpful.

Decent facilities in a good location but poorly maintained/cleaned.

Rainbow Beach is a lovely little town and the hostel gets you right in the middle of it. The little garden was nice to have and the beds were comfy.

The unit was very poorly cleaned. The floor was greasy, the ceiling fans had mould and dust on them, and there was a baking tray in the cupboard that hadn't been washed by the previous guests since last use and had rancid fat on it.

Upon arrival, our room door was wide open with another key in it. We also noticed a dried stain on top of the bed sheet (which was just one thin sheet, no duvet or anything) , there was what appeared to be sand on the shower floor, some open cream cheese pot in the fridge, no tv remote and buttons didn’t work on the tv. As well as what looks like bleach stains on the towels.

Fantastic place for a weekend getaway.

Perfect location, very central to town. Very reasonably priced. Great place for a quick getaway.

Okay ....can improve

I liked the common areas and also how close it was to the main town. You can easily walk to most places. The bed was comfortable.

I paid for a private room. The shower had no hot water. It was evident the room wasn't cleaned properly with rubbish in the tea and coffee supplies. The portable fan was very dusty. Dark towels had bleach stains. Overall okay but not worth $104 sorry I'd rather camp next time.

great hostel overall, could do with a bit of a reworked kitchen

- happy hour was great for free drinks, but the drinks were well priced in general anyway - nice pool area - our private room was great with a balcony - free bag storage - free pool table

- kitchen was super small and very hectic to try and cook in - the bathroom was a wet room so whenever you used the shower all of the water would pour out from under the door into the main bedroom area

wouldn’t stay again and wouldn’t recommend it to friends.

location was brilliant, laundry room was handy. pools and chill out are were nice. Happy hour was decent there.

the staff (apartment from the two blonde girls at the bar and new bar man) were very poor and not accommodating and one lady was so dogmatic. The room wasn’t very clean either.

We had one night there was a good stay

simple hostel Beds are comfortable we arrived after the check in time and was hard to get the key for our room but after a call to the owner he was friendly and helpful.
