Gut & günstig, für eine Nacht ideal!

Frühstück konnte wegen Personalmangel leider nicht angeboten werden (es gibt ausreichend Bäckereien in der Umgebung).. Dafür tolle Lage, man ist schnell am Bahnhof

Genauere Angaben zur Abholzeit für den Schlüssel. Türknall & Spülung der Toiletten der anderen Zimmer (liegen am Flur) sind leider gut hörbar.

Sehr angenehm!

Das zum Hotel gehörende Restaurant war sehr sehr gut, wir würden es zu Hause zu unserem Lieblingsrestaurant erklären. Das Personal war super nett und unkompliziert!

Die Zimmereinrichtung ist old school, aber sehr sauber

Sehr empfehlenswert

Absolut freundliches, liebes Personal! Wurde sehr herzlich aufgenommen und habe mich wirklich wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und bequem eingerichtet, selbst die Heizung war bereits leicht eingestellt. Sollte ich noch einmal nach Bamberg kommen, dann definitiv gerne wieder hier! :)

Es war für mich etwas unpraktisch, erst gegen 14 Uhr den Schlüssel zu bekommen, aber das ist Meckern auf Luxusebene. Ich kann voll und ganz die Zeiten nachvollziehen, da beschwere ich mich überhaupt nicht.

Auf dem ersten Blick nicht sehr einladend, aber dann doch empfehlenswert

Das sehr freundliche Personal hat die in die Jahre gekommene Unterkunft wett gemacht. Das Mobiliar war zwar etwas älter, aber alles war sauber. Das Frühstück hat geschmeckt und war lecker angerichtet

Das unser Zimmer zur Hauptstraße ausgerichtet war und daher war der Verkehrslärm doch störend, wenn man wie wir bei offenen Fenster schlafen

Preis/Leistung sind ok.

Für meine Bedürfnisse war die Lage gut. Das Frühstück war sehr gut aber leider mehr, als ich alleine essen konnte.

Man sollte einen Blick auf die Bettwäsche werfen. Derart zerschlissene Bettwäsche ist mir noch nie untergekommen und sollte mal ausgetauscht werden. Ich hatte zudem Probleme, mir sinnvoll (mit Spiegel) die Haare zu fönen.

Nice place

Very charming place. Big room and I was surprised by living plants in the room. 15-20 min to walk down to the center.

Our windows had to be shut all the time, otherwise too much noise from the traffic outside.

very nice and cozy hotel. everything was clean and the personnel was very nice.

the beds were too soft. But it was just for a few nights so no problem.

The restaurant was really nice and the people were friendly. It is a good price. We could park the car next to the hotel.

It was pretty warm in the room and when you opened the windows there was quite a lot of noise. Also, the toilet is seperate from the room.

Superb

The Beergarden in the back of the house was a little small but really nice! I was surprised about the quality of the food. The selection was more than enough. They menu included vegan, vegetarian and many many other very delicious dishes! Excellent!

The bathroom was clean, but very basic and oldstyle. There was not much room inside.

Decent starting point for a couple of days in the Bamberg beer cultural heritage

Location a bit off the beaten track, but still ok and still reasonable within reach of the centre. It is a bit outdated, but everything is in working order, so no complaints here. Decent breakfast buffet, nothing extraordinary fancy but just suiting the needs. The Gasthof also offers meals (we didn't use that however - we had other commitments) and there is a small but decent selection of local/regional beers on offer.

An extra set of keys for the rooms would have been nice. Nothing further to complain about.

Fantastic hospitality with great food

The hospitality of the hosts/staff was fantastic. The breakfast was great! We ate dinner there as well and it had wonderful food with lots of vegetarian options. They also were able to figure out parking for us as well! The place is a little far from the city, but is 20 min walking distance.

Many people mentioned the outdated rooms. It’s true, but easy to look past. Still clean and “retro”. What was more difficult was that we could hear every conversation that was going on in the hallway, and all doors opening and closing (for the rooms that had external toilets). The sound proofing was lacking.
