About this house rental
Enjoy the northwoods of Wisconsin on a quiet gem of a lake just two miles north of Three Lakes. Rangeline Lake is a 129 acre lake which is part of the popular Three Lakes chain. Its great for fishing, tubing, kayaking and swimming. Enjoy almost 80 feet of level frontage on our property. Lots of green space for playing bag toss or having a campfire. There is a permanent dock on the property so bring your boat! The waterfront home is directly across the highway from the bike/walking & snowmobile trails. The 1800 sq. ft home includes 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a fully stocked kitchen, living room, mudroom area to keep all the snow or beach gear as well as a game room. It sleeps a maximum of 6 guests with 2 queen beds, 4 twin beds (bunk style), and 1 full bed. WIFI included.
THE AREA:
We are conveniently located just north of Three Lakes on Hwy 45 so we are a short drive to all the amenities this area has to offer. Also, being directly on the Three Lakes chain allows for access to all the lakes on the Three Lakes Chain as well as the Eagle River chain if you decide to try out the Burnt Rollways Boat Hoist. A point to mention: there is a low bridge between our lake (Rangeline Lake) and Planting Ground Lake (the connecting lake). Most fishing and smaller recreational boats fit under this bridge. Pontoons sit too high in the water to fit underneath as well as large boats/ski bars. For reference the owners have a 17' Starcraft with a windshield and fit under the bridge just fine. We just trim up the motor near the area of the bridge and enjoy the day on the water!
MAIN LEVEL:
Consists of the mudroom area as you walk in the door. A perfect spot for all your snowmobile or beach gear. The living room has an electric fireplace, large smart tv, dvd player with a selection of movies, a ceiling fan, a pullout couch if needed and two recliners. The dining area is included in the kitchen and seats six comfortably, has a ceiling fan and a patio door that leads out onto the deck for grilling or hanging out. The kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. There is a coffee pot so bring your favorite brew. There is a full bathroom with a bathtub. There are two bedrooms each with one queen size bed. Both bedrooms include a dresser and have a ceiling fan.
LOWER LEVEL:
Has an additional two bedrooms. One bedroom has four twin beds (bunk style) and the other bedroom has a full size bed. Both rooms have box fans. There is also the game room which includes a pool table that converts to a ping pong table, a foosball table & dartboard. There is a TV & stereo along with a futon & chair. Off the game room is a full bathroom with a stand up shower.
LINENS:
Renters may use our bedding for a fee which is already included in the VRBO fees at the time of booking. This is optional. If you choose to bring your own bedding (blankets, pillows, sheets) then we will reimburse you the linen fee before your stay. Please advise at the time of booking which you prefer.
**You will need to bring your own bathroom and kitchen towels**
INTERNET:
WiFi is on site - fiber internet with a 100 Mbps connection.
YARD & WATERFRONT AREA:
There is another small cottage on the property that may or may not be in use during your stay. The yard and waterfront area is a shared area which includes the dock, gazebo, shed (with tubes, inflatables, paddles, etc) and grassy area. There are two separate fire pits on the property so that each party can have their own campfire. We do offer some chairs on the property. The small cottage is not advertised as it is mainly used by the owners/families. Each cottage has their own deck & charcoal grill. The lawn leading up to the water is level with a small clearing for beach goers. The bottom is mostly sand with some weedy spots. The weedy areas are mainly to the right of the dock.
GUEST ACCESS:
The property is self check in. About a week out from your stay we will email you some last minute information that includes the door code, wifi password, etc.
PARKING:
The driveway is circular around the cottages so there is room to park "off to the side" in certain areas. We also have two parking spots in front of the garage. If you are bringing a boat or snowmobile trailer, you are able to pull through completely around the circular driveway which is convenient.

Up keep on the property could be better. House was clean, there was a wide variety of water toys options which was nice. The bridge to the chain was very inconvenient as our boat wouldn’t fit, but
the boat launch was just down the road.
6.0 / 10.0
Not as nice as it looks online. Overpriced for what it is. But it's a clean fishing cabin with per and absolutely severed odd purpose well.

This site was great. Great place to stay. One of our group liked so well she will probable check it out for a summer trip.

House was perfect for our family stay with our 22-year old sons and their girlfriends. Plenty of room if you wanted privacy and the gameroom was awesome! Outside area was beautiful!

The house was good, and had a great time on the lake chain and in the surrounding area.

The property’s footprint was nice with 2 bathrooms and plenty of sleeping space. The lack of closets and places to hang clothes was inconvenient. Also, having to bring our own towels was unusual and made for more gear to pack. The noise from the road was disruptive if the windows were open, which we wanted to do to take in the cool air. The living room was spacious and comfortable with dvds that provided a variety of options. The owner gave wonderful suggestions for places to eat. Also convenient was the bike/walking path that leads to downtown Three Lakes, a little over a mile away. Despite mosquitoes, this path was a nice walk in the morning to get pastry and coffee in the morning, while also getting some exercise in. For longer walks/runs, the path also goes north.

The property was clean and very reasonable. Our only disappointment was that we rented a pontoon boat, only to learn that we could not drive it to the property, The bridge between this lake and Planting Ground is too small to navigate. I think this should be clearer as most people would assume they could bring a boat to the dock there.

Very nice property, perfect place for a six girl pool team. Right in the middle of everything we needed. We would read this again in a heartbeat.

Had a great time! The cottage was set up perfectly for our family. The kids loved the bunk room. The yard down by the water was great for the kids to play. The lake was quiet without a lot of boat traffic. Great for kayaking and paddleboarding. We really enjoyed the bike trail across the road. It goes through some beautiful areas with boardwalks and bridges.

Another great week at this property in Three Lakes! 10 days on a lake is exactly what we needed. The game room was put to good use due to Northwoods weather but we still had plenty of time on the lakes and having campfires. Cottage was perfect again.

Overall the amount of beds, amenities on site (pool table, TV, wifi, full kitchen) were great. The house is not on the lake since there are a couple of cabins in between the road and lake. The basement where the pool table is and 2 basement bedrooms were electric plug in heat so make sure to start those up. Otherwise overall the cabin is great and nice and close to town. In the middle of all the lakes in the area.

Convenient to the snowmobile trail, across the street or run the lake. Plenty of space. Clean and comfortable, FYI there were some lady bugs which are common. Great communication, Lori is great to work with and we met Tony, great guy. Overall pleased with the space and definitely on the list to rent again.

We enjoyed our week. This is a smaller, quiet lake. Communication w/ the homeowner was great. The house is on a busy highway, so it can be loud. One suggestion I have is to add a sliding screen door on the deck to help with cooling the house down in the morning/evening. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
4.0 / 10.0
Overall we had a fun stay. There are some cons to this place but the pros make up for it. First off, it is located on a busy highway. Once you take a walk to the lake, you quickly realize time will be spent on the lake. Then the highway doesn’t seem all that bad. They do rent another unit and if that unit is occupied then you would have to share the dock. Luckily, we didn’t have to share the dock. The lake was beautiful and we had a blast on the paddle boat they provided. We caught a few fish and it was so peaceful sitting or fishing off the dock in the morning with a cup of coffee.
The house does not have AC. They do provide fans for the rooms. The temp when we stayed was in the 80’s and it cools down at night. We give the comfort of the beds a 7/10. There is a cool game room that our teens loved. The kitchen is stocked with anything needed to prepare a meal. All of the neighbors are so friendly. The neighbors to the North were great. We hung out and had a great time with them, listening to music and swapping stories. Another neighbor brought us some wood to make sure we were able to keep our fire going. Everyone was so nice. We would definitely rent this place again.
The extra fees VRBO charged were obnoxious. There is a linen washing fee on top of a cleaning fee and then there is a service fee. We ended up paying almost $500 more in additional fees.

I can’t rave enough about our stay at this property. It was spacious, clean, had everything you could need and it was the best view on the lake. Our kiddos loved the ping-pong table and of course swimming right at your own little mini beach. I see a lot of people complaining about the highway and yeah it is pretty close to it but we didn’t mind. It was a little slice of heaven and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Also wanna mention the communication with the property manager was amazing. Anytime I had a question or an issue she always responded immediately. We actually had to leave a day early because my husband got sick and she even checked on us days later to see how he was doing. Super super nice lady. If you’re thinking about booking this rental I highly recommend it. Thank you for everything Lori!

This is a beautiful home with lots to do! We loved how close the home was to Eagle River and some hiking trails. We were also on the lake and had a bonfire pit. Everything you need for a long weekend is here at this property! Could easily be entertain for a 2 week getaway at this home too. First trip was a guys trip but plan to bring my family here next time.

We stayed in Sept of 2020, the cottage had close access to town but wasn't a fan of the highway so close to it. There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans etc. Lots of electric outlets and furnishings upstairs. The pool table was a nice diversion when it was raining. The bedrooms in the lower level had no where to hang clothes so most things sat on the floor. A small dresser or some hooks on the walls would be useful. Overall a decent place.

The cabin had everything we needed to have an amazing get away with the family! The property offers a rowboat to use and on our last night, my teenager and his friend caught a 38” muskey. It was quite the adventure bringing into the boat but it is a fishing story to go down in history! We will be back!!
