Located just over a mile from the downtown plaza, a few miles from the golf course and Taos Pueblo and 25 minutes to the ski valley, this great location puts everything you want to do nearby. Or curl up with a good book in front of the fire.

The house is well kept and spacious for those traveling as a couple or small family. Its convenient and quiet location is ideal for exploring Taos or taking a day trip to explore the museums and shopping in Santa Fe.

My husband and I went to Taos in early June for a short get-away. This was a very nice house in a quiet neighborhood. It was really clean and had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, good showers and everything you might need. Our only complaint is that the early summer tempuratues were in the mid to high 90’s and there is no air conditioning. It cooled off after sunset but was not a good sleeping temp till about two in the morning.. Also patio chairs were locked in the garage and heavy to move to the patio. Overall 5 stars. We would stay there again.

We were hoping to be a bit closer to town but found our location to be very convenient to driving everywhere. The home is very beautiful and very well appointed. We were extremely comfortable.

House is amazing. Every detail has been thought of. Would definitely recommend for couple or two couples or family of 5 or 6. Location was easy to find and felt safe. Perfect ambiance. Only suggestion would be to fix lock on double doors leading to patio.

We had a great stay at the casita! Taos has everything you need, including some really good restaurants. Location was perfect for additional day trips to Chimayo (Easter pilgrimage), Angelfire, and Santa Fe. Beds were comfy, kitchen was amazing, and the sunsets stunning. We saw elk just outside Taos one evening, heard coyotes every night, and watched a herd of bighorn sheep during our visit to the Rio Grande Gorge bridge, which was just a short drive from the casita. Communication with our host was quick and responsive. Highly recommend staying here!

This home was clean, warm, easy to find and to park our car. It had all the amenities you typically need (coffee, TV, washer/dryer, etc.) and it was just off Hwy 68 in a small neighborhood. The wide open views were fantastic, especially at sunrise and sunset. The homeowner was easy to contact and responded quickly to the few questions we had. I highly recommend this spot for a great ski vacation experience!

The pictures online do no Justice to this house. It is beyond super nice. the cleanest rental we have EVER stayed in. Radiant heat from the floors was amazing. They warm the whole house. Washer and drier for convenience. More hot water than you can use. Communication with Miss Barbra was excellent. only 1 smaller tv in the house, plenty of streaming channels. cell service was good there so only granddaughter hook to the Wi-Fi. she never complained of any problem. The gas fireplace was very realistic to regular fireplace, nice to sit by and enjoy. Easy access to Walmart and restaurants. Can't wait to go back to this GEM. Again. thank you, Barbra, for an amazing experience.

Great property, with great views. The weather was perfect for our visit and visiting the High Road studio tour. The house was perfect for four people, cooked dinner one night and appreciated the well stocked bowls, and pots and pans.

My son and I visited Taos for his high school graduation present. The casita was just perfect. We had privacy, the great ambience of the area, it was quiet yet located close to everything, and had wonderful views. The energy of the property was just peaceful and it contributed to the special time we had. We would definitely stay there again and I would highly recommend.

My husband and I spent 8 days in this lovely home in Taos, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, quiet and conveniently located for our many trips to visit sights in and around Taos, including Taos Pueblo, the Enchanted Circle Scenic Biway, and the High Road to Chimayo. Barbara was very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful home. The photos don't do it justice. And it was immaculate!! The owner let us check in early, which was so nice of her. And there are great views of the mountains, though some property fences block it slightly. The location is about 11 minutes to town, and it was very easy to find. We would definitely stay there again!!!

This was my 14th stay at the property. It has the easiest access, coziest feel and you can get to most of the great restaurants in just a few minutes. The care taker (Mary) is super friendly and attentive to your needs.

The home was beautiful with the feel of an authentic hacienda but with all the modern comforts. The home was clean, well maintained and well appointed. The owner through her communications made us feel welcome and comfortable using all the homes features. Communications were very clear and comprehensive. I would most definitely stay there again.

We are 4 friends who spent a week in this charming hacienda. It is well stocked with plenty of linens. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The listing has the hacienda about a mile from the plaza, but it is much more than a mile, but quite drivable.

We loved Barbara’s casita. It’s exactly as pictured and very quiet. It’s about 2 miles from the congestion around Taos plaza, but we appreciated the location and private back patio. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and with 2 beds/2 baths it was very spacious for a couple. The heated Saltillo tile floors kept the house at a perfect temp in the cool mornings and ceiling fans provided cooling during the day. We loved it!

House was great for all. Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Beautiful view of the mountains and sunsets. Enjoyed having dinners and breakfasts on the back patio. It was nice to feel cooler temperatures in August, so that was a nice escape from 107 degrees back home. Perfect house to escape to.

The house was beautiful and well appointed. It is a bit warm in the summer, but cools down very easily with the cross breeze when you open the windows. The patio is lovely at sundown and the view is outrageously beautiful! 10/10 would come back in a moment. So lovely!
