Our stay was wonderful! The location is super convenient, and it was the perfect place to relax and recharge.

Hot tub was not operable at all, area around fire pit had 4 deep holes with large sticks protruding , safety concern , kitchen cooking pans in poor condition And dirty. BBQ in substandard . condition , flattop very dirty . 2 charcoal Units not serviced, full of burned coals, no coals available to even utilize . I was disappointed with this home, especially for the price. We entered the property via an unlocked door with the key left inside. Security risk.

We were on Foresthill for a wedding. It was close to the venue and it was very convenient. It was clean and spacious.

Amazing property. House is perfect for a big family. Lots of space for everyone to spread and play. Loved our time there.

This place was perfect for a “home base” for my son’s wedding at forest house lodge. It was 100 degrees and the house was great to hang out in to keep cool after wedding rehearsal. We had family, cousins, uncle and pet staying with us. Everything was self explanatory and very easy to use. It was big enough to gather while we try to kill time before wedding.

Fun house with lots of room. Comfortable beds. Fenced area in back to play fetch with our dog.

We had a group of 7 staying here and there was plenty of space for everyone! Kitchen was well stocked and beds were super comfy! Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

We stayed in Gilberts home for my wedding weekend and it was perfect. The photographer ended up choosing to take quite a few photos there because of all of the beautiful details. The beds were comfy and the master shower was really cool. We're now planning yearly family retreats there! Thanks Gilbert!

The good: -the location. Close to the wedding venue, close to a store that had anything we needed (along with a deli inside) - size house/ land. Very spacious, plenty of room for all cars in driveway. Plenty of area to throw a ball around, or hang outside. House layout was nice, very large open areas. Great for big family/friends to socialize and not be on top of one another. The bad- -extremely poor communication with the host. We had booked for 2 nights (Wednesday-Friday). Then over three weeks prior to check in I asked if we could extend one night, to check out on Saturday. He said yes, to just leave cash or check in kitchen for the additional night. Less than 48 hours prior to us checking in he messaged me and says “sorry you need to leave Friday, I was double booked” This was a huge hassle for us, we had the wedding events until late on Friday. I asked if we could at least check out a little later on Friday (we had a brunch and pictures) He said absolutely no, check in/out times are set. I explained to him the predicament he put us in, and he was not helpful at all. He kept blaming the companies he uses for the over booking. And while MAYBE it’s true, there was no offer to help us for the inconvenience. I should have seen the red flag when the additional night was not done through VRBO for the extension. - The pillows were flat, the master closet had extras. All of which had large brown stains. The towels are old. Recommend bring your own towels/pillows!

The house was comfortable for our short stay for a wedding weekend. Rooms are comfortable, as was the living room for relaxing. The host attempted to fix a reservation double booking. Lots of artwork and personal pictures hung which some guests may enjoy, while others may consider it a turn-off if you are looking for a more "professional" interior. Host was attentive to texts/emails.

We stayed here for a few days prior to my daughter’s wedding. The location was perfect and the home was very comfortable. The home had everything we needed except for bathroom shower soap. (You may want to bring your own. ). The kitchen was particularly well stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful and comfortable home.

Was in Foresthill for a wedding. The options are pretty scarce, and a bit woodsy for my comfort level. This place was comparably beautiful though. Marble, recessed lighting, comfy beds. Loved the art. Appreciate that they left a baby gate out so I could block my 1 1/2 year old from going up the stairs, and that Disney+ was available to watch. The front stairs were a little challenging for my 90 year old grandma, but that wasn’t on the home owners. Plenty of parking. I would stay here again if I was ever in Foresthill.

Our family usually camps during the Thanksgiving holiday, with that a new little one in our family this year we decided it would make more sense to stay somewhere warm. Gilbert’s home was beautiful and more than we expected from the moment we were in the driveway. The living room was cozy and perfect to fit our family of 10 to watch movies. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped for us to make our feast. Each of the bedrooms were warm and inviting. We had so much fun playing pool and taking advantage of the beautiful balconies and the AMAZING backyard! We were even close enough to walk to the local grocery store. We loved our stay!

What a wonderful home. Although we only had 5 people staying it can easily accommodate the 10 people it advertises. Perfect location for easy access to the wedding venue we went to and all the restaurants and bars there in Foresthill. Thanks for letting us stay!

We stayed here while attending a nearby event, and very much enjoyed relaxing in this beautiful, spacious home afterward. We'll definitely be back!

We gathered from around the country for a family reunion at a local winery. This house was perfect! It had something for everyone and TONS of space! We were all very pleased. The master shower is amazing!

We stayed here, 6 people and an infant, for a local wedding. Plenty of space, nice kitchen and living area. As others have mentioned, AC doesn’t totally cool the upstairs bedrooms, bring a couple fans! Secure, fenced backyard for all except the smallest dogs, accessible from a gate outside the house. No carpeting, so very clean, but you can hear the people in the upstairs bedrooms if they get up at night. We should have put the couple with the infant downstairs!

This listing is pretty accurate to what the house provides. It is a large home that definitely fits many guests. It has a great upstairs game room with a pool table and space to place boardgames and cards. The kitchen was updated and had most amenities to cook all meals. All the bedrooms were large and clean. There are neighbors past the driveway towards the back of the property and the backyard was gated and locked. You really don't need this extra space in the back because of the size of the home and the front yard/porch area. We stayed there in the summer and it was quite hot. Having the AC no lower than 78 made it a bit uncomfortable at times, even with all the large ceiling fans. Location is good, about 30 mins to Suagr Pine Reservoir and 5 minutes from town. Overall, I would book again and we enjoyed our stay. The home is welcoming and from the pictures looks like a wonderful family.

We rented this house for a family wedding in the Foresthill area and it was perfect for our needs. Large, spacious, clean and had lots of activities for the kids to do (badminton, basketball). Was a great choice.
