About this villa rental
The house has three bedrooms with two bathrooms. The fully equipped country-style kitchen has high-quality kitchen appliances. Adjacent is the spacious living-dining area with a fireplace. The equipment also includes two satellite TVs, a modern hi-fi system and a telephone and internet connection.
Large patio doors lead to the covered terrace and to the large swimming pool (10 x 5m), which can be used all year round due to the existing pool heating.
A staircase leads from the elegant entrance area to the master bedroom on the first floor. There is a large roof terrace here. From there you can enjoy the wonderful view of the sea and the bay of Lagos.
The beautifully landscaped garden is surrounded by a hedge.
A special highlight is the spacious Finnish sauna in a separate wooden house in the garden (usable i. R. from November to April or by special arrangement).

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa for two weeks. The villa was spotlessly clean and the pictures of the view into Lagos really don’t do it justice.
The good sized pool is surrounded by a well manicured gardens and with two bedrooms on the ground floor and one big bedroom upstairs.
We loved how bright and airy it was in villa and would not hesitate to recommend it.

This was our second stay at this villa and it really doesn’t disappoint. Spotlessly clean, high quality accommodation. Sigrid is so easy to deal with and the local agent, Elke is lovely and quick to respond to any questions. We will certainly stay again when we next visit the Algarve.

The property was just as described on VRBO. Very clean and all appliances and amenities were functioning well. The location was fine, only 5 minutes or so from grocery stores and the main areas of Lagos and the beaches. There are an abundance of restaurants and we had only great dinners and lunches. We traveled from Sagres to Tavira and were never more than 75 minutes by car from Lagos. All in all there was something for all ages and a great time.

Have just stayed a week with family and had a wonderful time. The villa is very modern, with large heated pool, lovely garden, and great views of Lagos from the balcony. Super support during the week from Elke for some minor queries we had. Very clean and had everything we needed. Nice gesture from Sigrid with wine on arrival. Would highly recommend

Very well equipped and any problems quickly resolved by the rather wonderful Elka. You really need a car for your stay and the road down to town has initially no pavements. The upstairs balcony was amazing with beautiful views and the Villa was very clean and tidy. The beds were so comfortable. Absolutely an amazing Villa.

We had a wonderful week at Casa Danina and this villa ticked all the boxes for us, perfect in every way and we will certainly return.
Location - it's in a quiet spot on the edge of Lagos, very private, not overlooked, and just a $7 Uber ride into town. Good views from the upstairs patio area.
Villa Quality - perfect, everything was to a very high specification. Electric shutters, been to cup coffee machine, Weber BBQs (gas and charcoal), well equipped kitchen, great air-conditioning throughout, reliable wi-fi etc, etc
Pool - a particular highlight, ultra clean, deep and very effective pool heating, not that you'll need it in summer, but very useful in the colder months.
Photo don't do it justice, this really is a lovely place to stay.
I would only wish to change one thing, the beds were very comfortable, but would have liked nicer quality bed linen :-)

This home was perfect for our family. Our little grandchildren especially enjoyed the pool and we loved the well equipped kitchen and spacious living room and dining room. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and sitting on the upper balcony enjoying the sea and city view of Lagos.

Es war mal wieder ein Traum!
Wir waren zum wiederholten Male da und es war wieder einmal wundervoller Aufenthalt. Es ist der perfekte Urlaub, das Haus ist super sauber und sehr gepflegt. Der ist Pool riesig und auch ansonsten ist alles da, was man für einen tollen Urlaub baucht.
Vielen Dank auch nochmal an Eigentümerin und Verwalterin. Es hat wie immer alles hervorragend geklappt!

This house and property were beautiful! All parts of the house were well equipped for any need during the vacation. It has just the right amount of little touches to make it the perfect place to relax. The location of the house is perfect for going to any of the local beaches. Elka was friendly and helpful with any information we needed about the area. She even showed us the way to the local grocery store on the first day! We will definitely come back to this house. Wir hatten erneut wunderschöne Tage in der Casa Danina. Das Haus übertrifft die Erwartungen aus der Beschreibung. Die Lage und der Blick auf das Meer sind traumhaft. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr gut und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Es war wieder einmal traumhaft!
Wir waren bereits mehrfach in diesem wundervollen Ferienhaus. Alles war wir immer wunderbar sauber und sehr gepflegt. Es ist alles vorhanden was man sich wünschen kann und die tolle Betreuung durch die Gastgeberin und das Team vor Ort machen den Urlaub außergewöhnlich erholsam. Wir können das Ferienhaus nur wärmstens empfehlen !!!!

Die Villa - "Besser geht es nicht!"
Die sehr geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtete Villa ist wirklich spitze. Die Villa hat eine super Lage und von der oberen Terrasse blickt man direkt auf das Meer. Der Pool ist genial und man kann ihn sogar gegen einen geringen Aufpreis heizen lassen. Das war jetzt im Herbst die richtige Entscheidung. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt, wie z. B. ein Gasgrill, ein Kohlegril, ein Kaffeevollautomat, eine riesige Bücher- und DVD-Sammlung, eine Auswahl an tollen Gesellschaftsspielen, eine Waschmaschine, ein Trockner, etc. Für uns bot der umfangreiche Ordner mit vielen hilfreichen Informationen, sowie den Beschreibungen der Strände und der Orte rund um Lagos eine sehr gute Orientierung und half uns sehr, einzelne Unternehmungen zu planen bzw. den nächstgelegenen Supermarkt anzufahren. Schließlich ist auch die Hausverwalterin sehr zu loben, die uns am abendlichen Anreisetag super in Empfang genommen hatte. Genauso herzlich wurden wir auch verabschiedet. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Fantastic Stay at Villa Danina
We had a lovely holiday at Villa Danina, everything regarding booking & key collection was very straightforward & the local agent is very helpful. The villa was spotlessly clean & the owners have clearly spent a lot of time & effort making it a very comfortable home. Our only minor suggestion is the main bedroom could do with some better pillows & bed linen but the bed is very comfortable. The location is excellent with great views from the upper balcony & complete privacy in the garden. We stayed at the end of September & the pool was just starting to get a bit cold so I’d recommend asking for the pool heating to be turned on if staying at this time of year. We will definitely stay again when we next visit the area. Thank you!

Fabulous villa
We spent a fantastic 3 weeks staying at Villa Danina and would strongly recommend it to anyone thinking about staying in or near Lagos.
The villa was very well equipped and was a real home from home for us. We had the benefit of good weather during our stay and the swimming pool was a great asset, being large enough and deep enough to have a proper swim.
We were also fortunate to have the Palmares golf course on our doorstep, which is a really nice course and will be even better when they complete the development of other leisure facilities, which are currently under construction.
The only downside with the villa was that there was a need to drive in order to visit Lagos, Alvor and other nearby places. The upside of this however was that it was relatively quiet with a lot of privacy. We would definitely consider staying at the villa again and would like to thank both Elke and Sigrid for their help and support leading up to and during our stay.

Ausgezeichnet
Die Villa Danina ist ein hervorragend gepflegtes Ferienhaus und dies gilt sowohl für das Haus als auch für den Garten und den Pool. Weiteres Highlight ist die Küchenausstattung, die nichts vermissen lässt und mit Villeroy & Boch und Rösle Produkten bestens ausgestattet ist. Hier wurde an nichts gespart, auch keine "Billigmöbel", wie man sie leider häufig in Ferienhäusern vorfindet. Eine sehr gut organisierte Verwaltung vor Ort rundet den absolut tollen Aufenthalt ab. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub!!!
Wir waren jetzt gerade, also im Oktober 2019 in der Villa Danina. Die Villa Danina ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Uns hat nichts, aber auch wirklich nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist hochwertig und mehr als vollständig ausgestattet. Viele Bücher, DVD, CD, Poolspielzeug, Tischtennisplatte etc. sind vor Ort. Die Küche hat einen hohen Einrichtungsstandard, das Haus wurde nach einer Woche gereinigt, die Bettwäsche gewechselt und die Handtücher ausgetauscht ebenso wurde der Pool und der Garten gepflegt. Vielen lieben Dank, die Villa Danina ist ein absoluter Volltreffer und ein Glücksgriff. Wir können sie absolut und ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen!!!!

Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern und Großeltern) haben uns unheimlich wohl gefühlt in dem großzügigen, top eingerichteten Haus!
Die Küche hat alles was man auch zum großen Kochen braucht.
Unkomplizierte Übergabe - schöne Lage am Hügel mit Meerblick von der Dachterrasse - beheizbarer Pool - wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können uns gut vorstellen wiederzukommen. Vielen Dank !!

Großartig!
Wir waren begeistert von dem großen gepflegten Haus, seinem Garten mit den für uns exotischen Pflanzen und vor allem dem eleganten und relativ tiefen Pool. Da wir mit zwei großen Kindern reisten, war die Aufteilung des Hauses ideal: Sie hatten im Erdgeschoss ihr Reich mit eigenem Bad, wir genossen das Obergeschoss einschließlich Dachterrasse, die einen Panoramablick über die Küste und Lagos bot. Die Betreuung durch Frau Schelhorn, die vor Ort immer ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit war, war klasse! Sehr nützlich war uns auch die im Haus ausliegende, persönlich verfasste Mappe mit Ausflugstipps und der Beschreibung der Märkte und Strände. So wunderten wir uns in Monchique nicht über den alten Herrn, der bei Ankauf von Honig oder Orangen Zutritt zur Klosterruine gewährte... Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Urlaub in einem Haus, nach dem wir uns schon zurücksehnen!

Perfecto
Villa Danina es lo que puedes ver en las fotos: un pequeño palacio lleno de buen gusto y detalles. Está equipada hasta niveles de hotel de lujo. Si bien es cierto está enfocada a clientes alemanes e ingleses (CD, libros, canales de TV....).
La cocina merece un comentario aparte: simplemente excepcional. No he echado en falta absolutamente de nada (y todo de nivel premium).
No valoro todo con nivel de 5 estrellas por un pequeño incidente a la hora de poner en marcha la espectacular piscina (cubre bastante, no apta para gente que no sepa nadar) y por no hablar español (ya avisado por parte del propietario) Nivel de inglés perfecto. Los accesos son un poco peculiares por lo estrecho de la carretera, pero el emplazamiento es idílico si buscas tranquilidad.
Sólo un "pero": hay que mejorar la sonoridad de una bomba de agua que hay en el garaje (seguro que lo arreglan de inmediato).
Nosotros volveremos en cuanto podamos. Una estancia deliciosa.

Toller Frühlingsurlaub in einem traumhaften Ferienhaus
Unser bisher schönstes Ferienhaus in der Algarve (und wir waren schon in einigen...)! Hier stimmt einfach alles für ein unbeschwerter Familienurlaub. Der geheizte Pool in einer sehr gepflegten Gartenanlage war für unsere Kinder genial, auch die Sauna wurde mehrmals benutzt. Die Inneneinrichtung ist hochwertig: Top-Küche mit Spitzenausstattung, bequeme Betten, sämtliche Zimmer vollständig verdunkelbar mit elektrischen Storen, womit alle sehr gut geschlafen haben. Absolut ruhige Umgebung mit schöner Sicht nach Lagos und auf das Meer. Betreuung durch die Eigentümerin und vor Ort durch Frau Schelhorn erstklassig. Herzlichen Dank, wir freuen uns auf ein Wiederkommen!

Lovely Villa!
Location, location, location! My family and I thoroughly enjoy our stay at Casa Danina. Location is wonderful, with easy drives to sites around Algarve, we even made it to Seville for an overnight trip. The house itself was very clean and well taken care of. It has everything you need. Heated pool was great, since our stay was in late November, it was necessary. Highly recommended. We will be back!!

Just perfect.....
A beautiful villa, well equipped and spacious. Beach just a short drive away and similar to the centre of Lagos. Table tennis table, Gas BBQ and the pool were great additions. Would not hesitate in recommending it for a family holiday.

it was a family holiday and found the villa easy to find from the directions given , the villa spacious comfortable well decorated with a brand new kitchen and appliances we had english tele which suited the older members of the family situated just outside lagos it was quite during the day and night but close enough to go out at night , the pool was outstanding with comfortable beds would go back tomorrow
