About this villa rental

The villa, built in 1998, is one of the most beautiful ones of the Algarve. There are only 1300 m to the deep coast. The 5500 m² large, park similarly applied property offers the necessary privacy to enjoy the large terrace with its 75 m², heated pool. All rooms are furnished in the Mediterranean style, nice, individual items accompany the ambiance. 3 satellite TVs with 160 channels, DVD and CD player and wireless internet access offer a lot of entertainment. You find great bathrooms with black granite and cotto, an impressive entrance hall with a tower, a living room with a barrel vault ceiling and a super-luxury kitchen with really everything what belongs to it. And if you want to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets in togetherness, then you can take a seat on the large roof deck with a 180 ° view onto the beautiful coast (indirect lightening provided). Our house maid Louisa is every working day there to care for unclouded cleanliness within 3 hours.

Vacation activities: Sport freaks don’t have to put back a long way, because the greatest tennis construction of the Algarve with sandy and courts, fitness centre, diving base, aerobic hall, billiard room and pool you get within 3 minutes walking distance. For our guests the access is free of charge (use for a fee). There you find additional bistros, hairdressers and nail studio. Shopping freaks can make a trip to the Algarve shopping centre in Guia (15 minutes) and cap your purchase with a typical “chicke piri-piri” – dine in the piri-piri stronghold Guia. Who wants to go to the beach, really needs a car. But therefore a lot of small bays wait for you, among other things the most famous of the Algarve, the Praia da Marinha. Would you like to get to know the country and the people? Then follow our bulked and detailed advices for excursions, which we will send you before your arrival. Furthermore you get an advice by our house management from Carvoeiro.

Special activites for kids and teens: It’s clear that kids and youngsters like to be among each other. Then the tennis construction is the top address for you. Here you meet like-minded people from different countries. To speak English would be not bad. After a match of tennis or table tennis you can go to the club pool with a diving board or to the bistro. Body fans meet in the fitness centre. Billiard and a tabletop soccer are also available. Delight to dive or a diving course? Here you are right. Then you arrange for the evening, e. g to go to the disco ‘mile’ to Praia do Rocha (8 km) or drive to the Centro of Carvoeiro. One day in the 'Splide & Splash' (3 km) with the rapid water slides (among others Black Hole) you absolutely should dispatch. Go-kart fans don’t miss out the kart alley in Almancil. The most beautiful horses for rides and ride lessons wait for you in 6 km distance, in the Zoo-Marine (Guia) Dolphin (show) and other sea dwellers. Fishing trips start in Portimao and a basketball basket is also available.

The charm of the seasons: Every season at the Algarve is beautiful on its own, special way. In January and February the spring begins, the almond trees bloom, the nature and the fairways are pleasant green. Wanderers as well as golfers enjoy the clear air of the Atlantic Ocean with 20 °. In March and April the nature appears in the full flowerage. The May brings the first aestival 30°. On the markets abound fruits, salads and tomatoes. The life takes place nearly always outside. June, July and August are the hottest summer months with 30°. Pool and sea bring refreshment by the day. In the nights here always a cool, fresh Atlantic breeze blows. September and October offer with 25° pleasant temperatures, the bathing in the sea still makes fun. November is the rainy month. Over and over there it rains shower likely but then the sun also laughs. And Christmas – yes, then you already breakfast again in the sun on our terrace.

Casa Cara was simply beautiful. I believe this was the nicest home I have stayed in through VRBO. Our host was great to work with. Checkin was very easy and Bernd provided excellent recommendations for sites and restaurants. I will definitely be staying there again in the future.

We have stayed in many villas in the Carvoeiro area over the years, along with our 3 children, and this has to be the best yet. Spotlessly clean on arrival, and even more impressive than the photos online!! Awesome pool - it’s huge! Beautiful gardens to look at as you lie by the pool. Even a view of the sea from the upstairs balcony! Big lawned areas for a game of boules, football or bat and ball. Feels private, but the tennis club next door plus couple other nearby villas ensure you still feel safe and comfortable. Security is always a priority for us, and the shutters, window bars and lockable gates all kept us very happy. Kitchen has every dish and utensil you might need. Bathrooms feel very luxurious. Beds comfy. Bedrooms cosy. Bbq area well positioned by the pool and close to kitchen. Communication at all stages of booking was first class. Perfect location for visiting attractions such as slide and splash and zoomarine. And just a quick drive into Carvoeiro for the lovely restaurants etc. Shouldn’t really give away how fantastic this place is, as we hope to book again for next year!!! But honestly - you won’t be disappointed with this awesome villa. I’d go back tomorrow!!!

Casa Cara is heavenly. The house is on a very large plot of land, surrounded by a lush well cared-for garden with many different varieties of plants and trees. The home itself was obliviously very carefully designed, as we were surprised at every turn by little details that the owners considered when building it. The rooms are very large, with an extremely well stocked kitchen that would be anyone’s dream to own. Luisa, the lovely housekeeper, makes sure all is spotless. We had one problem: we had to leave. We hope to be back another year to visit serene, beautiful, well appointed, Casa Cara.

We had an excellent stay at the villa. Getting the keys and directions was very easy. Staying at the house and pool made for a very relaxing couple of days at the end of our trip. The grounds are amazing. We felt like we had our own slice of paradise in the Algarve and the location is a quick drive to the beaches and nearby natural attractions. Thank you! MM

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in dieser Traum Villa verbracht. Beeindruckend fanden wir die Gestaltung des Hauses sowie des Gartenbereich. Einen so großen Pool mit sage und schreibe 75 m² haben wir vorher auch noch nie gehabt. Wunderbar ebenfalls der große Außengrill direkt an der herrlichen Terrasse. Danke, dass wir Ihre Gäste sein durften! Als kleines Dankeschön, haben wir zwei Flaschen Wein, den wir selber gern getrunken haben, für Sie in das Wohnzimmer gestellt. Wir hoffen, angesichts der sehr starken Nachfrage nach dieser Villa irgendwann einmal wieder die Chance zu bekommen, hier Urlaub machen zu dürfen.
