We went to the house and it was very dirty. There was dog hair all over, there were cobwebs, and it smelled like smoke inside. We were planning to bring some clients to stay, but ended up getting hotel rooms instead. I messaged the host but got no reply, so we ended paying full price and not even using the home.

We had a great time. The Lodge was just right for our extended family reunion.

The Host explained to us that she just recently took the property over and was working on it as she could. It could use a good deep cleaning but nothing terrible. The back yard is shared and needs a little work. My family had a great time and we would stay there again.

Alpine Forest Lodge was a great location for our family reunion! Each of the 10 bedrooms had its own bathroom. Seven bedrooms were on the main floor! Good sized kitchen and storage room provided 3 refrigerators for ample food storage and meal preparation. The property manager was extremely helpful in answering questions before and during our stay. The shady back lawn was a great gathering place for family meals and entertainment. The location was walkable to delicious neighboring restaurants.
Our stay coincided with a heat wave and the rooms were toasty at night. Some rooms had fans, but rooms generally cooled down by morning.
Overall, it was a great gathering place.
We hope to return in the coming years!

This property was perfect for our large group as all the adults had their own rooms and there was plenty of space for the teenagers too.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cabin in duck creek and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how accommodating the cabin was. The space was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities one could ask for. It truly felt like a home away from home.
But what really made my stay exceptional was the fun-filled atmosphere. The cabin had a variety of activities and entertainment options available, ensuring that there was never a dull moment.
I also want to highlight the attentiveness of the host. Loreen went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From providing helpful recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants to promptly addressing any concerns or questions I had, their dedication to making my stay memorable was truly commendable.
Overall, my experience at this cabin was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of its accommodating nature, fun-filled activities, and attentive host made it a truly memorable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Inside was clean but the exterior needed some work. Overall it was the perfect location for our family reunion.

The house was adequate and mostly matched the pictures. it was a little more run down that we thought and there was a water leak in one of the rooms that was not able to be resolved during our stay. Also, there weren't extra bedding items as described in the listing. That said, the hosts were very nice and everyone had a great time.

This location is beautiful.. the area the lodge and the owner is very quick to respond and willing to repair on the spot. The dishwasher latch was broke, she wanted to run right down and fix for us. But a little hand washing wasn’t too much for us. We didn’t want repairs while having so many enjoying the lodge for a reunion. I gave 4 stars ⭐️ as the cleaning crew could be a bit more thorough. Cob webs in many areas and hair on the bathroom floor. The dust, I understand. But as thick as the cob webs are they could use some extra attention every few months. Other than that, this is a great place at a great value.

We loved having a space big enough for our large family reunion. Having a bedroom and bathroom for every adult couple was wonderful. We used the space outside for a couple of tents and enjoyed the deck and chairs in the evenings. We didn't have a problem with other nearby guests, but be aware that there are other dwellings very near and the back grassy area is shared. Loved our stay!

Property pictures may be a few years old and the grounds in particular are in poor condition. No grassy lawn for playing like in the pictures. The grass is dead, unmowed and patchy. Recently filled trenches, broken irrigation pipes, and leaking septic system suggest work that is not complete. Property needs maintenance and care. Also, the yard is not private, as guests from other buildings started using our toys and games. Surprise!!
Check in and check out instructions are incomplete.
The accommodations themselves were as pictured—out of date and worn, but usable. The location is great with beautiful lakes, hikes and scenery.

The Lodge was everything we expected. We had a group of 25 people and we all fit comfortably. Utilized all the beds, small bathrooms, but very much appreciated, in every bedroom. Kitchen was a good size and accommodated us well. Three refrigerators helped, dining area was sufficient. In evening 9 of us sat around dining table playing Texas holdem comfortably. Two other tables were available. not all of us could fit in the living room at one time. chairs could be brought in from dining area. everything was very clean. for the more senior people the 1/2 bath had a 17' toilet height. I believe the owner has been upgrading throughout.
Overall we were all very satisfied with our stay.
As a note I would say 35 people would be crowded, unless there were children also. Thank-you for a wonderful time the area is beautiful, lots to do. We rented UTVs next door. Aunt Sues cafe was a big winner!!
True Value Hardware had all of our needs, food houseware, hardware, fishing gear, etc.
We will all have good memories of our family reunion. Bryce canyon and Zion, amazing. fishing good. Thank-you

We loved the location of the lodge and the vicinity to all the trails for walking or riding side by side. The place was exceptionally large and each of our families had their own room and bathroom (there were 18 of us). The kitchen was large and provided everything we needed including multiple fridges and even had a laundry room. We had a great time, and the owner was great and very attentive to anything we needed. The only downfall was the back yard which looked nothing like the pictures that were provided but could be due to such a harsh winter they had. We still had room out front to play our cornhole so that wasn't too bad. The lodge is a bit older but still it was nice to have all the space, bedrooms and bathrooms and we would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I and our 4 adult children and their spouses had a wonderful time at the lodge! We all had so much fun and with each room having its own bath, everyone was very comfortable! We actually had bedrooms we didn’t even use! If you’re looking for a family retreat without everyone on top of each other all the time, this place is perfect.
Granted, it’s a little dated & the place is not perfect, but the beds are comfy, plenty of space and appliances for cooking group meals, and Laureen (the owner) was lovely to work with and very responsive.
We snowmobiled one day and skied another … it was a wonderful family vacation!!

We came with all of our extended family and this accommodated us perfectly! Laureen was very helpful when we had to call her about plowing the snow and getting the tv to work. She was friendly and fixed the problems very quickly. The property could have been cleaned a little better (cobwebs on the light fixtures and dirty under the beds) and there were some minor repairs that need to be done, but it didn't affect how much fun we had. It was such a large cabin in a beautiful place and perfect for our family!

Lodge was wonderful and fit all 12 of my family members. The fridge and stove needed to be replace but the owner was quick to replace them both. Great distance to amenities and an overall great stay with the family.

This was a perfect location to give us access to the area we wanted to visit and to spend time with our children and grandchildren. We loved having bathrooms in each of our bedrooms. The lawn area in the back was perfect for our family where our grandchildren could run and play. It is a shared area, but we had it to ourselves most if the week. The kitchen was stocked very well with any small appliance you might need. The dining room had 3 dining tables that was great for meals and game playing.
Overall this was a great venue for our reunion.

The BEST family vacation spot
This is the second year we have stayed at Charles and Laureens property, and it’s definitely not the last. We love that it fits the entire family, and that it’s right in the middle of the village. The house has everything you could ever need for a large family gathering. We look forward to this trip every year and we’re so happy we found this house!!

It was wonderful.
Our stay was very nice and the view from your property was amazing. The kitchen sink needs to be looked at because of the backup sounds it made.
Thanks you again.

Great Property
The lodge was perfect for our large group ( 18 adults and 11 kids). This is an Air Force reunion that we do every couple years. Having ten bedrooms and bathrooms was great! The owners were there each day to water the yard ( they had just put in sod in the backyard). We did not realize that the lodge had a shared area out back and that there seems to be ongoing construction behind the yard. With little kids we did move a lot of the artificial plants and breakable knick·knacks that were all around. There was some dust but understandable with the decorations and location. If you want a secluded place this is not for you, but it was a great fit snd price!

great gathering place!
This property was wonderful for gathering a big group. The back lawn was perfect for fun, games, and bonding. The central location was also awesome. We had a family reunion and most of the other properties didn't have enough parking or outdoor space to gather more than a few people -- this property had both. We had a great time in Duck Creek!

Great location for family reunion
We loved this house & location! So centrally located to Bryce & Zion. There are so many lakes & trails nearby. We often spent the day near duck creek taking in the beautiful trails, including cascade falls.
The house really has 11 bedrooms if you count an upstairs room that has 2 beds & sections. It was so large for our gathering of 15 that sometimes it felt like you had the place to yourself. Plenty of room to gather as well as have your own space.
The hosts were very accommodating & available. The only downside is there is no private outdoor space. Considering the size layout & location I still think it's worth 5 stars

Great Set up for a large family vacation
We enjoyed our stay. Communication with the owners prior to arrival, and during our stay was great. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the pots, pans, dishes and small appliances you could need. Behind the house there was a great area for the kids to sled and play in the snow. The local hardware/grocery store was within walking distance and there were two restaurants within walking distance. If I had to say anything negative, it would only be about the very obvious spider webs in several area's of the lodge that were not cleared prior to our stay. I would recommend this lodge for your next winter vacation. Thank you for the hospitality.

Perfect for large groups.
We loved our experience here! We had 13 adults and 10 kids and there was more than enough space. It was clean, cozy, and had everything you might need. The owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The little town is absolutely adorable and everyone is very friendly. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you for such a lovely weekend!

Great Experience
The cabin was extremely clean and spacious for all the guest! It’s in a great location in a small village so quick access to a couple stores, gift shop and gas station if you need any last minute things for your trip. Its not quite on a large lot as depicted in the pictures, however it was still a good fit for our group. The backyard seems to be shared with other cabins so thats something to keep in mind in regards to privacy. Luckily the other cabins were vacant for most of our stay until the last day which is when we realized the backyard area was shared. Other than that, everything was very nice. The host were very welcoming and provided the best customer service!

Great location! Plenty of room for everyone!
Great location, with plenty of room for everyone. There are enough bathrooms for the whole family! It’s within driving distance of several places. The picturesque views are breathtaking. We went to Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. I’d definitely rent from Laureen and Charles again. They are great hosts.
