About this house rental
Adorable newly renovated downtown cottage. This roomy 2 bedroom, 2 bath with an open floor plan, has a sleeper sofa and comfortably sleeps 6. The space has new beds with plush linens and towels, fully equipped kitchen and W/D. Now available rental. Conveniently located 4 miles from I-26/Hwy 74, 13 miles to TIEC. One block from main street and downtown Tryon restaurants, shopping, galleries and theaters.

We went for a one night getaway without kids to go tubing down the Green River. The place was perfect and will definitely book again when we can stay longer.

My (adult) kids stayed there but it was a very short trip. They arrived late and were out the door before 8am to make the Spartan race. Very close to where they needed to be

This sweet little cottage was perfect location for our trip to visit family in Tryon. Walkable to the main street with restaurants, etc. Nice clean space. Wifi worked great. No complaints!

This is my second time renting this property. It’s perfect for girls night or weekend away and convenient to downtown Tryon. The hosts are very communicative about any property questions. I plan to rent again in the future .

We really enjoyed this cute, rustic home. Hit or miss with phone reception, but definitely not a big deal for us. The only issue that we had with the entire stay was, there is a family that lives below the place. They are very loud in the morning. There was a baby crying and constant noise that sounded like slamming doors and furniture moving. Otherwise, this place is definitely cozy and beautiful.

The inside is definitely better than the outside. The den, kitchen & bedrooms looked very clean. The linens on the beds appeared fresh and the beds were comfortable. The temperature of our house was perfectly cooled- it was a hot day outside. The kitchen has all the necessary elements we needed. There was a washer & dryer if we needed, and the sofa & chair were comfortable. The WiFi was great for our needs - especially since we had no cell phone reception. Great TV! Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect! We could have walked to town if we had wanted to, but didn't feel completely safe in this neighborhood to do so after dark. However, we were very scared when we pulled up to this property. The outside looks very run down and almost abandoned. The grass wasn't cut & mold on the siding. We parked in the front yard because we didn't see a definite parking place. The driveway goes to the back of the house- perhaps another basement walkout rental(?), but we didn't want to block the cars behind our rental. Our biggest complaint, besides the exterior of the house, was that the towels looked stained and torn, there were open shampoo bottles in the shower, unwrapped used bars of soap in the bathroom, and the shower curtain had mold on it.

The house was good for an overnight stay. House was clean and beds comfortable. You are within walking distance of downtown Tryon, where the restaurants and a few shops are located. ( Cafe Le Gault very good for breakfast ) Parking in front of the house right off of the road and only room for one car.
