About this cottage rental

This lovely, well maintained 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is located on a tidal inlet on Drummer Cove in South Wellfleet. The interior is spacious, open, airy, and furnished nicely. The deck is a nice place to enjoy the outdoors and take in the marsh views, and the yard offers plenty of space to throw a ball around with the kids. Non-refundable $250.00 fee (includes administrative fee and damage waiver assurance) plus applicable state and local taxes. There is a minimum rental of four consecutive weeks between 11/1/21-6/1/22. Linens not provided. Guests may rent linens or bring their own.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall an excellent property with a few recommendations: Since the house sleeps 6, there should be six not five outdoor chairs and an umbrella for the table was missing. Also the cheap grill lacks a bottom grate for serious grilling and owner should supply a small outdoor table next to grill for food prep and a place to deposit ashes. Kitchen should have a toaster oven.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the breeze and views in this beautiful home off of Drummers Cove. The house easily accommodated us (4 adults) and was just a bike or car ride away from the sights and sounds of Wellfleet. Note: google maps does not recognize this location as being in Wellfleet and sends you instead to Eastham. Best to arrive for the first time by daylight to read the house address!

Beautiful home, spacious, clean with everything you can ask for. Quiet location, beaches nearby with Wellfleet center a few minutes drive. Drummer cove scenery was spectacular.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week at the Cape in this rental. The house had the perfect design for our family. The downstairs bedroom was private with a full bath and the upstairs bedrooms and kitchen/ family room was comfortable. It was difficult to adjust the A/C in the downstairs, colder than we wanted it. Well stocked kitchen, short drives to the beach, downtown Wellfleet and the bike path. Beautiful view of Drummer Cove. The charcoal grill needed updating and and need an extra outdoor chair for six guests and an umbrella.

This was a lovely well stocked house. We enjoyed the water views with our coffee in the morning out on the deck and from most every room in the house. You can’t find the house using GPS but the directions that were emailed from the property manager were good. We’ve been to the Cape many times but never stayed in Wellfleet before. It’s a cute town with some very good restaurants and the house is a short drive from Marconi beach. My adult children enjoyed putting together the jigsaw puzzles provided and even bought some new ones in Provincetown which is less than a 20 minute drive. We even went to a comedy drag show one night. Overall we had an excellent vacation and were very pleased with the house.

The queen bed (firm but not hard) was unbelievably comfortable and we slept great for the 5 weeks we were there! It has high end pots and pans which made cooking easier on an electric stove. View ad breeze from the water kept the house cool all day and night.

It is the cleanest I have rented (in 10 recent times) and it is gorgeous: open and airy inside, with much more space than I could see from the photos. The master bedroom is magnificent, with its view and space. Even the downstairs bedroom has a similar view. Everything you'd want or need, was here. I was sadly only able to make it for one-half of my rental time but a few days were like a week.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nestled near a beautiful cove, the area was pleasantly quiet with the exception of the occasional exotic bird. The house was clean & comfortable with all the amenities needed. Just 2 minutes to the beach and 6 minutes to Wellfleet center. Quite convenient.
