The sugar adventure museum:
Still grapefruit, right next to the garden, there is the Sugar Museum. Which is more than that because it tells the adventure and the evolution of the sugar industry that made living in Mauritius for two centuries. In this former sugar factory, one can see such an impressive machinery that was used to extract the sugar canes, machetes but also taste refined sugars differently and rum.

Cap Malheureux:
The small village of Cap Malheureux owes its name to all the shipwrecks that took place on its shores. It is also here that the English, in 1810, landed to take possession of the island permanently. This is a tea factory and museum. The guides will be happy to show and explain the different stages of production: from harvesting to packaging, through the withering, fermentation, drying and sieving. The 7 colors of land:
This is one of the main natural attractions of Mauritius. Located in a private domain, this is a clearing which has 7 color variations, ranging from ocher, brown, red and purple. This phenomenon is due to the presence of volcanic ash containing mineral oxides of different colors laid bare by erosion for centuries.

Nous avons eu une expérience incroyable, le complexe de villa est magnifique et la vue la plus belle, l'une des rares villas du Sofitel belle rivière qui offre une vue sur l'océan à couper le souffle. Claudia et Joyce sont des gens chaleureux et merveilleux qui rendent notre séjour extraordinaire.
Les propriétaires étaient ravis de nous laisser passer une journée supplémentaire en raison de circonstances spéciales, et nous leur remercions profondément pour cette courtoisie.
