About this villa rental

The charm of a wooden construction and the comfort of a contemporary home. This house is near the beautiful beach of Grande Anse, and the typical fishing village of Deshaies. Site conducive to calm, relaxation and discovery of the lush nature of the Basse Terre and its great virgin beaches.

Capacity: 4 people
Surface: 170 m2 plus a deck and an outdoor relaxation area with lounge and 2 sunbeds.

Layout of the villa: 1 large ventilated room overlooking the terrace with bathroom, a second ventilated bedroom with bathroom and toilet. Living room with open kitchen, large terrace with sea view and not overlooked. Infinity pool and garden of 1600 m2 for private use. Rooms equipped with mosquito nets

Kitchen equipment: gas hob 4 burners, dishwasher, combi oven, American fridge, espresso machine, blender, toaster.
Living room equipment: television with Orange TV, radio, wifi internet.
Other equipment: washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Linen provided: sheets, towels, tea towels. Beach towels are not provided.

A plastic icebox is available (shopping, picnic ...)

The advertised property in Guadeloupe presents itself as a complete house, yet it's partially rented out, with a permanent tenant occupying an apartment in the basement. Despite the description promoting the rental of the entire house, this arrangement leads to direct interaction with noise-sensitive neighbors. A definite highlight is the remarkably spacious terrace, offering ample room and potential. However, these positives sharply contrast with the drawbacks of the rented apartment. The advertised square footage seems exaggerated, as precise measurements reveal strong discrepancies, likely due to the inclusion of the terrace in the total area advertised. The apartment itself is remarkably small, and the furniture displays clear signs of wear and tear, with some pieces being broken. There's a strong musty odor of dampness permeating the space, and the walls show signs of swelling, accompanied by a distinct smell of mold. Additionally, it's worth noting that we've traveled frequently to Guadeloupe, experiencing various accommodations, and this one stands out for having by far the poorest value for money.

We enjoyed the Stay very much; secluded and nice Location With sea view from the Pool. The kitchen cutlery is however an assortement. of old, broken and partly unusable tools. Cooking was therfore very limited. Emille, the caretaker was very responsive and took care of every our needs. Take mosqutio repellant and visit the petite anse for snorkeling. Overall an excellent place with some pitential for t.he kitchen.

Nous avons résidé dans cette villa durant 1 semaine avec nos 2 enfants de 8 et 4 ans. Équipements, situation géographique, calme, tout était parfait. C’est une maison avec du cachet, vivante et très agréable. Émilie, qui nous accueille, est absolument charmante. Gros point positif pour la piscine, pour la vue, la douche en extérieur est très appréciable au retour de plage. Nous recommandons totalement cette villa pour un séjour en famille sur Grande Terre.

Belle maison de style créole avec une magnifique terrasse et sa piscine à débordement donnant sur une splendide vue sur l’océan et la végétation. Un vrai paradis! La propriété se trouve dans les hauts d’un quartier calme, en plein végétation, juste en dessus de la Plage de Grande Anse et à moins de 10 minutes en voiture de Deshaies. Par contre, la route est assez « sportive » pour l’atteindre (ne pas prendre de voiture rabaissée! Mdr!!) La maison est fonctionnelle et bien équipée. Les deux chambres en suite sont plus grandes que ce qu’elles paraissent sur les photos et la douche extérieure est sympa! Très gentil le panier de bienvenue! Le village de Deshaies n’est pas très grand, mais on y trouve tout ce qu’il faut! Superette, restos, magasins de souvenirs, pharmacie, etc. Et son fameux jardin botanique. Et à moins d’une heure, on peut faire plusieurs activités comme le zoo des Mamelles, la réserve Cousteau, les Maisons Sous Le Vent etc. Nous avons vraiment passé un excellent séjour et nous recommandons cette maison!

Une superbe propriété au cœur d'une forêt tropicale, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer et sur les couchers de soleil depuis la piscine à débordement. La localisation est idéale, à moins de cinq minutes en voiture de la plage de Grande Anse et de restaurants succulents ! Encore merci à Emilie pour son chaleureux accueil !

Villa très agréable, la vue magnifique. Par beau temps, des couchers de soleil exceptionnels .. La piscine et la terrasse vue sur un jardin tropical d’une grande richesse a rendu ce séjour excellent et apaisant.

The house is set in a beautiful lush very private tropical setting with sea view. Humming birds near the breakfast table on the deck. The only thing that was not perfect was that the pool I did not work - as that makes the Infinity pool pop at night. Philippe, the care taker was great.

We just passed a week in this property. Highlights: exquisite location in a wonderful garden with excellent sea views; very quiet; exquisite and exquisitely furnished outside area and large pool; indoor nicely furnished; nespresso-free household (there is an exquisite espresso-maker for which you need just grounded coffee). What we missed: pool towels (would be a nice service for airplane-travelers); one change of bath towels; blankets (some nights were rather chilly); usable wardrobe in the second bedroom. As overall experience we fully recommend the property.
