We had a great stay at Emerald Isle. Had majority of kitchen necessities we needed. Only things missing that we needed were potato masher and/or beaters for the hand mixer. King bed mattress sagging in middle somewhat. Otherwise perfect especially in comparison to other surrounding properties we visited where friends were staying.
The rental had plenty of space for the four of us. Loved there were 2 bathrooms in our rental. A definite plus 😁. Balcony wonderful for the view and enjoying the sound of the surf. Also liked there were eating places within walking distance. Would stay here again.

This condo was perfect for 4 of us, with our 2 teenagers. Being beachfront was nice to sit on balcony and view ocean (and sometimes dolphins swimming by). The location was good in Reddington Beach, as we were able to drive quickly to other beach towns between Clearwater & St Pete. The only recommendation would be to add end-tables to Living Room, as we had to hold our drinks while sitting on couch.

Overall, this is a nice place to stay! Somebody was there everyday to clean up the grounds,mow the yard and keep the pool clean. The staff at the rental agency was very responsive. The master bedroom ceiling fan needs replaced because it only worked on high speed. Remember this place has only one parking space per condo. If you have another car or visitor they will need to find street parking. I found a empty spot down the street, 10min. Walk back to the condo. Visitors need to get there in earlier morning time to ensure a place to park.

Property is right on the beach, with beautiful views, the microwave and counters had crumbs on them and were not cleaned. Everything else was clean and nice. It would be helpful to have something that tells you about the TV channels. Other than that perfect and would definitely go back.

Great view - which is why we chose the property. The kitchen and bathrooms had been remodeled so they were nice. The furniture needs updating it is pretty worn. The carpet in the bedrooms needs to be replaced. It was worn and not very clean - not even vacuumed well. We had to cut our trip 5 short because of Hurricane Ian - not the fault of the property, just would have liked to stay for the full amount of time! It is a great area.

Wonderful-the only issue we had was the refrigerator was not working properly. When we called they sent someone immediately to fix it. The balcony sliding door was really difficult to open and would not slide. We reported that when we returned the keys. What a beautiful location - loved our holiday. Nice building and very clean. The stay was great except for the weather. The unit 101 needs some work. The hot water did not work in the small bath. The ice maker did not work. The sliding glass door rattles with each burst of wind. We did not get the internet password in our info packet and had to wait until Monday morning to get it. This unit has a musty smell to it. There are too few kitchen accessories such as pots/pans and no pitcher for ice tea. Otherwise it was fine. Since we are an Emerald Isle unit owner I wanted to give an honest constructive perspective from my point of view. Emerald Isle and your service was great. Will be there again on vacation.

Most condos in this area are older but this one was well maintained. Don't miss the Frog Pond for breakfast/lunch and the Conch Grille for lunch/dinner and drinks, both within a 10 minute walk.

Spring of 2014. Extremely disappointed in a unit we paid $1700.00 a week for. This unit is extremely outdated. The master bathroom is disgusting! The shower and tile are so gross i hated standing in them. The door tracks in the entire unit were filthy and corroded, the carpet is dirty. The patio doors don't slide so we left them open all week. The cushions on the patio furniture are falling apart. The walls around the window frames are crumbling and falling apart. Every door and gate take a key to open, including the lobby door. You only get 2 keys for everyone to share and the locks are very hard to work. Every guest we talked to were annoyed with the locked doors that didn't work. Resort Rentals refused to refund any of our money. The only thing they did was refund $100.00 of the cleaning fees. The pool was taken care of daily and was very nice. location on the beach is great. We looked at a unit on the 2nd floor that is managed by another company and it was $2000.oo a week and looked like it should be in a magazine. The owner of unit 101 needs to spend some of his extremely overpriced rent on updating this unit. Shame on Resort Rentals and the owner of this unit.

This was our third year renting at Emerald Isle through Resort Rentals. The location is very desirable with excellent access to a better than average beach and a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. We are very satisfied in our dealing with Resort Rentals. They were very responsive in resolving several issues we encountered with the particular condo we rented this year. On the negative side, we were not satisfied with the conditions we encountered with unit #101. Some of the unsatisfactory items with the unit include inadequate kitchen equipment, a sliding door that was very difficult to open and close, and worn out balcony furniture. A extensive list of kitchen equipment was posted with a date in 1989 and did not come close to describing what was actually provided for cooking utensils. We feel that the owner of the unit should be obligated to update and maintain the unit better to justify the price they are charging for renting their condo.

The sliding glass door was off the track and kept coming off the track. At no point was I able to lock it. I opened the kitchen window while cooking and was unable to get it to shut again without the brute force of a neighbor. The master bedroom fan has 2 speeds; hurricane and off; neither being comfortable. The water pressure was hardly there at all. The cooking utensils were minimal and cheap at best. It was comfortable enough besides alll those things. I've stayed in many vacational rentals and this one left me dissapointed. We're fun people though so it didn't ruin the stay.

The room had beach toys, chairs and even a small cooler that we could use. This helped us tremendously since we flew and couldn’t pack all of these items.
My only complaint is that using keys to get into the pool area wasn’t very convenient. A keypad would have worked much better! Also, our shower in the master bedroom wouldn’t get hot. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

Good to know before you waste your money
Do not book!The door to the condo is busted. Keys will not unlock it even when a technician comes out and gives you a new set of keys with an attitude it STILL DOESNT WORK. Key note: she didn’t actually tell us when she was there and did not open the door in front of us, she called after the fact. But she will let you know that the door is hard to get into and you just have to “work with it”. Well after “working with it” you will still be locked out, so based on a past review that resort rentals responded to, we discovered you can climb up the balcony and get through the balcony door that NEVER locks because it is busted. And to confirm that is very accurate. I’m short and even I made it up there so if you want to risk you’re belongings being stolen or your safety, it will most likely happen after people see how easy it is to get in. So we had to climb up the balcony to get in, once inside we discovered the condo was absolutely disgusting. In the living room/kitchen area we found live/dead bugs, sand/hair all over the floor (also black feet after only being in the condo for 30 mins), dishes in the dishwasher *not cleaned. Now pay attention to this, it’s a kicker; In the master bedroom; under the bed-a hair tie, back of the tv remote, food wrappers, and a USED CONDOM. Behind the bed dead bugs and an empty chip bag. IN THE BED, sand and hair. In the master bath, floors dirty, number hair tools that is either a past guests or just free for all to use. Also no need for ventilation the broken glass in window provides that along with the loud lovely sounds of traffic and people. Guest room and bathroom also in disgusting shape and not cleaned. So you may ask, “why didn’t we contact the resort rentals” WE DID. Multiple times for days on end. They were RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I, with obvious reasons, wanted a refund as we did not stay the night there and had to book a hotel. Their management’s comments were that the cleaning crew are not “robots” and we’d get refunded only on a cleaning fee ($100 something).I guess to sweep, mop, disinfect, clean and put dishes away, change bedding/look under the bed, amongst other things are not common sense. Also a day later, after having to contact them after multiple calls and messages the night before about our concerns, advised they could send maintenance out to fix issues that were already reported to them in a review THEY RESPONDED TO BUT NEGLECTED.They never offered another condo or our money.Attorney contacted

This unit was OLD-stains on walls-keys that didn’t function-very noisy scary blanketed elevator-broken tp holder in master bath as well as no hot water setting for shower (all week they were lukewarm at best-no pot holders in kitchen-not enough towels and no dish clothes-guest bedroom had ripped moldy pillow and sliding door out to balcony was a joke as well as malfunctioning vertical blinds -did not appear as advertised and for price we got screwed

warm getaway
Unit could use some repairs. Master shower did not have hot water, toilet in other bathroom was plugged, window in bathroom was broken. Also one set of keys to the unit did not work. Luckily unit was on first level and patio door was not locked. While we did get a visit from maintenance almost 24 hours after notification of issues, repairs were not made while we were there. Emerald Isle 101 was a cozy and well appointed condo. The view is spectacular! The other guests were very sweet and overall a quiet community. We loved walking across the street to Dunkin Donuts and Burrito Social was really a great find. The beds were new and very comfortable. We all slept very well. There is not a washer and dryer in the unit, so be prepared to walk up to floor 2, to use the coin operated washer and dryer. It was kind of an inconvenience having to go and get quarters, but other than that, it wasn’t bad. $1.00 to wash and $1.00 to dry. The shower bar in the guest bath is very rusted and needs to be replaced. My daughter thought maybe she got a rust speck in her eye, but she was fine. The furniture in the living room was in great shape and very comfortable. An area rug would be a great addition. The biggest drawback to this property is having to use a key for absolutely get in the building, to get in your condo, to get in the pool area, pool bathroom, and also to go from the pool to the beach. Kind of a hassle when you’re carrying beach chairs and other stuff, and you have to drop everything to get the keys out. The condo did provide two great beach chairs and some sand toys, which was a huge plus! We would definitely come back!

Not clean
Was disappointed in the cleanliness, the carpet in master was filthy, I brought a pair of cream slippers, and they were filthy by the end of stay, you can see that the carpet is dirty with stains on it. The king bed needs replaced, you literally had to roll out of the bed because it dips to the middle. The wall in the corner of bedroom has dust balls hanging. Master bath had a rug that had not been washed, filthy. Kitchen was not stocked very well, no sharp knives. skillets bad. I did call management about bathroom rug , no one came to get it. The furnace fan ran cold air most of the time, they ended up replacing motor, Air and heat is something that is usually checked in between guest stays. The dust balls were hanging from the fins on the furnace door, WOW, you mean you can't see this. Would not stay in this condo again, the building was very nice, pool was clean, I don't live like this at Home, Should have requested another condo as many were empty. An I am not a clean freak.
