About this house rental
Very charming old house restored with taste and authenticity, it has 2 flowered parish gardens surrounding an old-style pool type pool with resting beaches and swimming against the current, an independent bedroom on the ground floor (not air-conditioned) because very cool in summer) with its bathroom. Another upstairs bedroom, air conditioned, with its library lounge as an extra bedroom and its bathroom, shower and bath. The canopy will receive your meals around a large round table and the living room will charm you with its careful decoration and paintings by French and foreign artists. The house has all the equipment necessary for a successful stay. Ideal for 2 single people, 2 couples or 1 couple and 2 children.

We had a wonderful holiday, the house is beautiful with fabulous decor and very relaxing. The weather was great and the pool was very welcome to cool off. The bed was super comfy and all essentials were provided. Benedicte was very thoughtful host.

Simply put, we hated to leave. On our arrival, Bénédicte was helpful, welcoming and informative. As frequent VRBO renters, we could tell that she had anticipated everything needed to make her guests' stays a great success. Beyond that, the house is charming, very comfortable, and fully functional. We felt at home right away. The setting is spectacular, and the locale full of interesting things to see and do.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house. The house is an old stone house (typical for the area) that has been beautiful restored. The house was very clean and comfortable. Nice bedrooms and big, nice bathrooms. The kitchen is small (not a lot of space for preparing) but well equipped. To relax by the pool in the afternoon after being out visiting the area was ideal. The host, Mme Delaplace, is very friendly and gave us good recommendations for restaurants, markets, villages to visits. We can truly recommend to stay in this house and to visit this area for a taste of Provence and Luberon.

Lovely owner and beautiful home!
We had a wonderful time in Provence. We are so grateful to Benedicte for sharing her special home with us. She has restored and decorated it beautifully. The house was very clean, comfortable and quiet. There is a big, comfy bed in the main bedroom. It was great to have a bath and shower. The pool was a welcome respite with the heat we had. We did utilize the AC at night. The location of the house is ideal for visits throughout the Vaucluse, Bouches-du-Rhone and even the Drome Provencale. All of the Luberon villages are close by. The only thing that might be difficult for some is the stairs. We had a perfect stay, merci beaucoup Benedicte!

Enchanting Home
We couldn’t believe our luck in finding Benedicte’s gorgeous home. Every detail was beautiful, tasteful, and gracious. The pictures do not do it justice because it is so lovely. The location was perfect for exploring the Luberon. We loved the pool, the quaintness of the little hamlet, Cortasses, and delightful restaurants near by. We felt like we were sitting in a tree house. Great music CDs too. If you want a real taste of Provence, look no further.

Magnifique Maison au calme et proche de tous les avantages.
Charmante maison typique et très joliment aménagée. La piscine et la climatisation permettent de passer un très agréable séjour quelque soit les conditions climatiques. Le studio un peu indépendant permet également à chacun d'avoir son intimité, c'est un vrai plus dans une grande maison. La propriétaire est par ailleurs très disponible et prévenante, elle nous met dans de très bonnes conditions pour que notre séjour soit le plus confortable possible. Bref, je recomande vivement!!!

Nous avons séjourné dans cette jolie maison pleine de charme début mai. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel car la région est très belle mais aussi et surtout car nous étions dans un très joli cocon : agréable, calme, décoré avec soin et beaucoup de goût, très propre, le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques. Notre hôte a été très prévenante en prenant de nos nouvelles pendant notre séjour.

Séjour D’une petite semaine dans cette magnifique maison encaissée dans un petit hameau tout près de Gordes.
L’endroit est presque intemporel, propice au recueillement.
Tout y est exquis, à telle enseigne qu’on est ravi d’y rentrer chaque soir après la découverte des environs qui regorgent d’endroits magnifiques.
Les meubles, la décoration, les matériaux. Tout y est organisé pour votre bien être et votre plaisir et vous vous surprendrez à découvrir de nouveaux objets chaque jour.

Très jolie maison aussi agréable à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. On s'y sent bien de suite, avec les fleurs, les plantes grasses. La verrière est charmante et l'atmosphère qui y règne est propice à la détente. De surcroît la maison était très propre à notre arrivée. Enfin, sa situation géographique nous a permis de visiter tous les jolis villages des alentours.

Dies war eine der schönsten und tollsten Unterkünfte in denen wir je waren! Das Haus ist ganz wunderbar! Schön eingerichtet, ein toller Wintergarten, ein schöner Aussenbereich mit Pool (unbeheizt), einfach perfekt. Die Lage ist zudem hervorragend, mitten in Luberon und mit kurzer Fahrzeit sind viele schöne Bergdörfer zu erreichen, die allesamt hübsch sind und jeden Tag gibt es irgendwo einen Markt! Und jeden Tag waren wir glücklich, wenn wir wieder zu Hause waren und es uns dort gemütlich machen konnten! Wir kommen definitiv nochmal wieder.

Entspannte Tage im Luberon
Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen, sehr schön renoviert und sehr gepflegt. Sehr gute Ausstattung, Bettwäsche, Handtücher etc. ausreichend vorhanden. Kleine Küche.... aber alles vorhanden. Sehr netter Empfang der Eigentümerin mit ausführlichen Tipps und Beschreibung zur Nutzung des Hauses. Schön angelegter und gepflegter Garten mit kleinem Pool (nicht beheizt), Sonnenliegen vorhanden. Die nächste Bäckerei für Croissants etc. ist mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlage. Großzügiges Bad mit Dusche und Wanne. Wir verbrachten eine sehr entspannte Zeit und können den Aufenthalt gerne weiterempfehlen.

Rénovée et agrandie avec des matériaux authentiques et de qualité, elle offre un très grand confort. La décoration soignée alliée aux objets uniques rapportés des voyages de la propriétaire confèrent à cette ancienne bergerie un charme indéniable. Le petit jardin très savamment arboré et la piscine peaufinent ce tableau idyllique. Vous l'aurez compris, cette belle adresse est à retenir pour un séjour de rêve en Provence.

Beautiful house and décor in a great location.
Lovely house and décor, very clean, lovely pool and in a great location. There were pre-existing issues with the plumbing and sanitary ware which were resolved very quickly, but there still remains an issue with a very temperamental toilet flush that needs to be permanently addressed. Some other small niggles would be that the kitchen is very small but workable, but there is no oven as stated on the property details, only a combination microwave/oven. The gas hob has two burners which are only large enough for two small pans which is restrictive. More than one set of keys would be useful, to allow the external annexe guests to gain entry into the house. The annexe bedroom is charming but there is only a curtain separating it from the en-suite bathroom. A door would be better. A change of bed linen is provided which we changed midway through our stay. We washed towels as there were no spares. When we have been to other HomeAway properties a cleaner normally comes in after one week to clean and change linen and towels. We were surprised that this was not the case here. Some detailed instructions of kitchen equipment, the pool, air-con etc would be handy, plus good directions of how to locate the property.
