About this house rental

Located on the hillside on the southern slope of the Luberon, Mériba, our family house, enjoys a beautiful natural environment of one hectare and a very nice view of the Provencal countryside, the castle of Lourmarin, the valley of the Durance, and to the west on the garrigue and the Luberon.
Facing south, it is bordered by a large terrace offering several shaded areas depending on the time of day.
It involves :

1. On the ground floor
- a spacious living room opening onto a large terrace overlooking the olive trees and the Durance valley. Dining room and living room with TV corner.
- Adjoining fitted kitchen, as well as a utility room with washing machine and dishwasher, 2 refrigerators, 1 freezer.
- 1 separate toilet
- 1 bedroom sleeping 160 (2 separate beds) with sink, French window overlooking the garden.
- 1 bedroom sleeping 160 (2 separate beds).
- 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds (folding bed also available)
- 1 bathroom with bathtub and WC.
2. On the 1st floor:
- 1 small extra bedroom with a single bed (90 cm) adjoining the master bedroom
- 1 large master bedroom sleeping 180 cm (2x90) opening onto a private terrace. Facing south, lovely view of the olive trees and the valley, direct access to the garden.
- 1 bathroom with bath and WC adjoining the bedroom.
3. A large independent studio, south facing, adjoining the house, 180 cm bed (2x90), bathroom with bath and WC

The swimming pool, 10m x 5m, between scrubland and olive trees, offers a magnificent view of the castle and the surroundings.
Next to it, the '' workshop '', which includes a toilet and a small extra shower room.

TV, Wifi,
Garden furniture, barbecue, outdoor games for children (slide, swing).
Bed and bathroom linen are provided.

During your holidays in Mériba, you will enjoy a remarkable natural environment, calm and complete privacy. You will also be a stone's throw from the bustling village of Lourmarin, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, and you can take many excursions in the Luberon.

Super séjour passé dans cette maison où rien ne manque. Vue imprenable de la terrasse sur les oliviers et les collines environnantes, parfait pour faire des balades et ensuite profiter de la piscine. Calme et tranquillité. Village de Lourmarin à découvrir. Très bon accueil. Adresse à retenir.

tres belle et grande propriété dans un hameau de verdure et de calme! la maison est isolée dans la colline, mais on peut se rendre a Lourmarin a pied. la batisse est ancienne et cela fait son charme, il y a une belle et grande piscine, des belles chambres independantes, de beaux meubles anciens.... un champ d'olivier, des genets.... Parfait pour decouvrir le Luberon, meme s'il faut plutot se diriger vers d'autres villages moins Gentry, pour decouvrir les bories, les châtaigneraies, les vallées sauvages... pour finir : petit points négatifs : il manque tres peu de chose pour en faire le lieu ideal: un four a pizza, une table de ping-pong, des velos à dispo.

Provence at it's best!

Provence at it's best!

We travelled as a couple and had a wonderful stay. The house, including the very good and clean pool, has a fantastic view and is very private. The only person we saw during the whole week was the pool man that came once. The house is very well equipped and felt like a real home. If you can read French there are hundreds of books. Unfortunately we only found one book in English, a book for small children. The master bedroom, the one we used, is the only bedroom with air conditioning. The remaining bedrooms are, however, located away from the sun so they should be comfortable as well if the weather is hot. Lourmarin, 15 to 20 minutes away by foot, is a wonderful town where you can find most things including a good bakery that we visited every morning. It is a perfect way to start the day. We will come back!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé la maison qui est très spacieuse ainsi que la piscine (très agréable) et l'entourage en général. La vue dégagée que nous avions de la terrasse était superbe ! Le calme et les cigales nous ont donné le repos que nous cherchions. C'était TOP !

Emplacement idéal à 1km du centre de Lourmarin ., au calme dans les oliviers et avec une très belle vue . On va à pied en se promenant agréablement sur une petite route jusqu’ Lourmarin . Maison de charme , belle terrasse et beau coin piscine . A l’intérieur on a de la place , rien ne manque , dans un style année 70 , on peut faire des bons plats ds des marmites bien patinées ! C’est convivial et chaleureux. Salles de bains correctes (3) , maison bien aérée de plain-pied, pratique .proprietaires charmants .

Spacious house in great location

The house is very much a family home with some quirky old fashioned decor: characterful rather than smart. It provides both space and privacy for three couples plus ample shared areas. The outdoor space is excellent for both sun and shade with a fine well maintained pool and lovely views of near and distant wooded hills. Lourmarin is an easy 15 minute walk away with lots of options for eating, shopping and markets. It makes a fine secluded base for exploring north and south of the luberon ridge. The owners were helpful and communicative.

A wonderful stay in Provence

My family and I had an amazing trip to Provence. A large part of that was our stay at your home. Not only are the views from the home beautiful, but the home situated in an ideal location, a short walk to Lourmarin and a convenient drive to numerous destinations. The manager for the house made our stay even more convenient by helping to buy groceries before we arrived and by picking us up from the train station. Would definitely recommend this house for a stay in the area to anyone.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La maison est très conviviale , on ressent bien que c'est une très belle maison de famille. Le salon est chaleureux avec sa cheminée et ses beaux fauteuils, propice à des moments de détentes, d'apéritifs ou de farniente ! La maison est aussi bien placé pour visiter les principaux spots de la provence , en fait tout est à 40 min : colorado provencal, les villages de roussillon fontaine de vaucluse l'isle sur sorgues ..., et également d'avignon et d'aix-en provence sans parler de lourmarin et Bonnieux qui sont aux portes !"
