Ich gehe ja ca. 15x ins Hotel im Jahr, aber manchmal erlebt man etwas Besonders. Das Rittergut gehört sicher dazu. Ein alter wunderschöner Bau, der durchaus gut modernisiert wurde (alles funktionierte), ohne den Character des Hauses zu zerstören. Dazu reichlich versehen mit Antiquitäten, ohne dabei überladen zu wirken. Wir hatten das asiatische Apartment, es war wirklich wunderschön und erlesen eingerichtet. Der Gastgeber setzt offenbar großes Vertrauen in seine Gäste, daß er diese Schätze alle so frei aufstellt. Auch das asiatische Himmelbett (meine asiatische Freundin erklärte mir erst einmal die Philosophie dahinter...) war wunderbar, aber man könnte hier seitenlang schreiben. Die Stille, der schöne Garten, die Badewanne, die Möbel, die schönen Fenster, ich hätte hier sicher 2 Wochen statt 2 Tagen verweilen können.
Alles was ich hier schreibe sind keine echten Nachteile: 1) Das Mobilfunknetz ist sehr schlecht, also telefonieren klappt nur, wenn man sich auf den Hof begibt und an der rechten Stelle steht. 2) Die erste Nacht waren wir ganz alleine, der Wind blies, es knackte und quietschte, uns hat es nicht gestört, auch wenn die Partnerin mich 2x schickte, nach dem Rechten zu gucken, also, man sollte nicht furchtsam veranlagt sein .... 3) Für jüngere Kinder ist diese Unterkunft sicher nicht so geeignet, dafür stehen und hängen doch überall zuviele Schätze herum. 4) Die verdammte Glotze. Sie hätte nach meiner Meinung nach nichts in diesem wunderschönen Apartment zu suchen gehabt, auch wenn sie gut versteckt war. Ich fürchte allerdings, wenn der Gastgeber sie wirklich weggelassen hätte, dann würde es hier jede Menge Minusse regnen ....

A jewel waiting to be discovered!
There is nothing not to like, and no other rating to give but “excellent”. Accommodation is in a charming and mysterious old German chateau. The suites are well furnished and each individually and lovingly decorated in various baroque and colonial styles. Throughout the premises, artworks are displayed the admiration of which will take a day already, not to speak of the beautiful park around the building. For those who appreciate beauty and a compelling historic experience, this place is a must!
