About this house rental

Owned for many years by a private family for beach holidays we now present The Verandah, 9 Hanson Avenue Anna Bay for holiday rental. Nestled in a quiet street and only a short 2 minute drive to the beach, beautiful enclosed back yard for children to play and room for a boat.

Features of The Verandah are two storey, four bedroom air conditioned home with fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, internal laundry with washing machine, bathroom with bath and separate toilet, drive through garage, undercover outdoor area with BBQ and the beautiful ocean breezes that flow through from all aspects. The owners provide child gates on the staircase, a high chair and a cot mattress, which makes this very easy to pack to go away for your next beach holiday.

A quick drive or easy level walk will take you to Birubi Beach, where you can stroll around the rock pools, take a walk along the prestige surf patrolled beach or even if you fancy a coffee or drink there is the Cafe which offers the best views of the area. If the kids are after something a bit more exciting how about the camel rides or sand dune tours - this is all at your finger tips at Anna Bay.

(f) intentionally, recklessly or negligently damage the personal property of neighbours of the premises or other occupants of a strata or community scheme.

This property is approved for holiday accommodation only, no extra bedding mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed.

After hour emergency service is available 24/7 during your stay.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies.

We enjoyed our stay here for 6 nights. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, worked out we’ll hiring linen through local agent. Was just surprised there weren’t really any books or DVD’s (DVD player only) or Wifi for Netflix etc, but we survived! Would stay again.

Was not cleaned prior to arrival. Pubic hair on floors, shit stains in toilet, used cakes of soap in shower and soap scum on screen, food in oven, thick layer of dust on furniture. Ants in kitchen during the day and cockroach infestation in kitchen at night. Broken shower head. Broken slats on bunk bed as well as being very wobbly - not safe for children. Other beds were also very wobbly and uncomfortable. Maggot infestation in solo bin. Also it isnt mentioned in the ad, but everything barring 2 rooms is upstairs, I had my grandfather with me and I would have booked elsewhere had I known the kitchen, living, and bathroom was all upstairs.

A nice holiday house not far from Fisherman’s Bay (a beautiful little cove to swim in). House is well equipped with everything you need for a group holiday. One bathroom was a little tough with 8 adults and the mattresses need to be replaced, particularly in the downstairs bunk bed room.
