About this house rental
Located in the quiet Triana Shores neighborhood of delightful Harbour Island, this luxurious 5-bedroom, 5.5 bath home is only a stone's throw away from the famous Pink Sands Beach yet still convenient to the restaurants and nightlife of the island. Each bedroom is en suite...two with king beds, one with a queen and two with twins for maximum flexibility. All bedrooms are equipped with smart TV's and there is WiFi throughout. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area that seats 10 are perfect for large parties and the lovely pool area also has a covered bar and large screen TV for your outdoor enjoyment. The covered porch that wraps around both levels also provides guests with multiple choices for outdoor relaxation.

Stonesthrow was the perfect place for our 4 night stay for our family of 6 celebrating my husbands 50th. The house is better in person than we had imagined. Beautifully designed, clean and updated. The interior is very spacious. The elevated island living decor gorgeous. My favorite part was the expansive wrap around porch. The bathrooms were clean and and modern with good water pressure and plenty of hot water for all our to shower at the same time. The beds were comfortable the sheets were soft, new and clean. The A/C was nice and cold in the entire house. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need. The water dispenser is a plus be you don’t have to buy your own bottled water. The Sonos speaker system was great for playing music. The pool and yard were our favorite place to relax after a day spent at the beach. The pool table provided lots of entertainment. The location is perfect. Steps from the beach. Less than a minute walk to the public beach that was mostly all to ourselves. It was beautiful and not crowded. The house has plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas towels, and a cooler. My kids enjoyed the boogie boards and snorkeling gear. The housekeeper Cheryl was a delight and kept our home clean and tidy and helped with the morning dishes and kept the towels fresh daily. We will definitely be coming back and staying for much longer!

We loved everything about this wonderful property! Celebrated my 60th with our grown children and spouses. The owners provided recommendations for
golf cart rentals, restaurants, excursions, ets and all spot on! The house had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable with multiple living spaces. My group loved the porch! Cheryl came and daily and was a delight as well as keeping everything clean and in order. We are are hoping to visit Harbour Island again and this is the perfect house! We were so glad to be able to meet the owners, they are fantastic host!

Our family of 9 enjoyed all the features of the home - proximity to the beach (exactly 36 steps from the back gate until you see the ocean); heated pool with wonderful outdoor kitchen complete with TV, Sonos, and bar; comfortable bedding, bottled water and ice provided (as well as generous condiments), and the best part was the owner's responsiveness. We lost internet one day and they responded with the focus and intensity that one would expect if something were on fire! Great stay -- would definitely return!

This may be the best vrbo I have ever stayed in. I'll start by saying the name definitely fits the house. It was at most a minute walk to the pink sand beach. The house is beautiful and was fully stocked with everything from paper towels to coffee. We all agreed we would stay here again if we get back to the island. It was an amazing vacation!

Having stayed at more than 10 places in this area I would say this house has been one of the best! The place is well done, quality bed linens, furnishings, etc! It was very well equipped! Came with paddle boards, kayaks, etc! The kitchen has every appliance you could possibly want and most of all the pool was HEATED!!! Yaaay! Used the pool daily! So nice! I would definitely stay again!

Stonesthrow was just perfect. The house is absolutely beautiful and really just a hop skip and a jump from the beach. The surrounding houses were beautiful too. The kitchen had literally everything you needed. I love that spices and non perishables were left for the next guest. This will save you a lot of money on the island. We were two families of 4 with kids ranging from 7 to 12. It was perfect layout. We will be back.

What a wonderful stay at Stonesthrow. A perfect layout for a large group that makes you feel right at home. Fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, & beach chairs. Gorgeous landscaping & steps from the beach. The real reason to stay at this property is the owners. Considerate, easy to reach, & quick to respond. They went above & beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend for groups of families or friends alike.

The house was perfect for us. We were seven adults and a five and seven year old. The house has all the fun Beach toys, chairs etc and an easy stroll to the beach. When at the house, the pool was perfect to keep the kids busy!! I highly recommend this property.

Stonesthrow was the perfect house for our vacation! When we arrived, we were impressed that it was even better than we had expected from the online photos. Wonderful location across the street from the gorgeous beach, with all the beach amenities you could possibly need (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc.) The house was very clean and well laid out for our group, which consisted of two families, 4 adults and 4 tween/teens total. Bedding and towels were high quality and the beds were really comfortable! The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with all the amenities we needed to cook in a few nights. Cheryl was amazing and so helpful with her daily cleaning/ maintenance visits, and Gordon was super responsive whenever we had any house questions. We hope to return to Stonesthrow in the near future for another relaxing vacation!

What a wonderful home! It's huge for starters and decorated so nicely! Beds are so comfortable! Everything is perfect and clean and there is a housekeeper each morning! There are so many amenities I don't know where to start. Kitchen is equipped with everything you could want to cook and entertain! Huge washer and dryer. The pool is amazing and the outside bar by the pool is the cutest! Great location! Nice and quiet and just steps from the beach! They were great to communicate with! I can't wait to go back! We didn't want to leave!!!

The only issue we had was the A/C unit in the queen guest room didn’t work. Two of my grandchildren were not happy. No excuse for this.

I have been going to harbour for many years and this property was the most equipped I have ever stayed in. The kitchen is fully equipped (my husband and I are both chefs) with top of the line everything. The lay out of the house was perfect for multiple families which worked great for us. Cheryl is a gem and helpful with whatever you want/ need. She babysat my 10 month old as well as my friends kids 4 and 8 when we had dinner a few nights. Gordon was very attentive and answered every question in a timely manner. I cannot recommend stones throw enough.

Perfection in a "Stonesthrow" from the ocean.
This property is exceptional. In fact, the best I have ever rented. Jill and Gordon have created a magical oasis on Harbor Island. The backyard is a peaceful retreat. With an outdoor pool table, television and plenty of seating to listen to the majstic palm fronds blow in the wind. The multiple seating arrangments around the wrap porch were perfect for those who wanted to sit quietly and read or who wanted to chat over morning coffee. The decor and fabrics are exquisite. The kitchen was well appointed and allowed for many a fun meal prep. If you wanted fresh juice - you could make it- a food processor - a blender. When I say they thought of everything, I am really not kidding. The bedding was yummy - the towels fresh and fluffy. There were beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie board and beach towels.
Cheryl , the house manager, was a delight to chat with. She shared her knowledge of the island and was happy to help us in anyway she could. Several of us went on this trip to celebrate milestones: a 30th wedding anniversary, a birthday and 2 retirements. Stonesthrow was the perfect setting. I have been to the island several times and plan to come many more. Any property that Jill and Gordon own will be my go to from now on. If I could rate this stay a 100 I would.

This is an incredible property. Very spacious. Incredible interior decor and so comfortable. I have wonderfully nice large bedrooms and Greg Tilley space with nice outdoor living areas. Linens was nice as those at a ritz Carlton.

Family Trip
Everything about our stay was truly exceptional! The house is spectacular - one of the more beautiful houses I have ever stayed in. The house is well-equipped with everything you might need (for both the inside an the outside). Each of the bedrooms has their own bathroom, and even the bed sheets, mattresses and pillows are really good quality. You can either spend your day at the gorgeous pool or walk 20 foot steps to the beach. I cant recommend this house enough - we will definitely be coming back. Thank you to Gordon and Lisa for their incredible hospitality - they always responded within minutes!

A group of friends and I stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The location of the property is great and so close to the beach. The house itself is wonderful too with everything you need. Host was responsive and helped us settle in with no complaints. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Incredible Wedding/Family Stay!
We have been visiting Harbour Island for over 15 years with our family and this visit was to celebrate our daughters wedding, which was incredible. After the wedding we all decided to stay the week after to celebrate Thanksgiving together in this fabulous home. This home is beautifully decorated, spotless, spacious, and stocked with every convenience. We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner for 19 utilizing the gorgeous kitchen stocked with every appliance, pots, dishes, silverware, serving dishes and platters, wine glasses etc. Beautiful wrap around porches on both levels to relax and amazing backyard with a large pool, lounge chairs, sitting areas, full bar etc. Steps from the beach. Great beds and linens. Cheryl is amazing and comes every morning at 10am to organize the house, very sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back and perhaps make this a yearly Thanksgiving tradition! Jill and Gordon you have a wonderful home and you both made us feel so welcome and comfortable.

Each bedroom had a private bathroom plus there was a half bathroom in the common area. The housekeeper named Cheryl was great. We arranged golf cart rentals with Jimmy from Johnson's Rentals and he had them waiting for us when we arrived at the house. My group wants to go back to the house next year!

My family loved this house! We had 7 adults and 2 children under three. We loved being so close to the gorgeous beach and having the great swimming pool! We all agreed that the pictures did not do the house justice. It is spacious and beautiful. Everything one might need is there. My son and his dad loved the outdoor pool table! We also thoroughly enjoyed the porch.
