We enjoyed a family vacation and the very kind hospitality. The property provides many options with kids even if it is raining. Eight to ten persons are best according to our experiences.

There were 10 of us. Dining area was large and accommodating. Lounge area only had enough seating for 7. Not enough lounges and cushions in the garden area. Indoor pool was the most used area, great for the kids.

A lovely house with lots of character

We chose this property to host husbands special birthday celebrations.The property is set in lovely grounds including enormous koi fish pond.
Sleeping accommodation is split between main house and annex which suited us well but the 6th room (above the annex) constitutes a mattress on the floor and is only accessible via a ladder- possibly great for younger family members but not for adults as not able to stand up there.
The pool was much used - smaller than it looks in the photos but nevertheless much enjoyed.
Communication with host was best via the App and responses were timely. A local manager of the property was available for arrival etc but communication was a little more challenging due to our lack of fluent French and his of fluent English- he was however polite and responsive throughout.
We had a rainy week and so the enormous dining table was great for family board games and eating all together.

We had such a fantastic 10 days in this glorious house. It's utterly beautiful and looks as though it's stepped out of a fairy tale. The garden is huge and teeming with wildlife, the main house is wonderfully rustic with two substantial tables that are ideal for family games and the 3-bedroom annexe is so comfortable. The pool makes it especially brilliant - we spent the majority of our time using it. Thank you enormously Olivier and Didier.

Charming house and annexe with fabulous large garden with 2 ponds. Plenty of room for 11 of us aged 3-65 to spread out but also spend time together.
Didier the property manager was excellent and available for anything we needed.
Some furnishings and equipment somewhat tired and in need of attention or replacement.
Overall a success.

Zwembad 4 dagen niet kunnen gebruiken omdat het moest worden leeggepompt en weer gevuld.
Het was niet overal heel schoon.
Er was lekkage in 1 van de badkamers.
De mensen waren heel attent en behulpzaam. Reageerden snel op appjes.

De fotos in de advertensies vertelde niet over de status van de verblijf. Alles behalve de swembad was niet so groet als we hebben verwacht. Geen ventilatie in de kleine huis met 2,5 slaapkamers. De vocht druppelt langs de vensters.

Si vous cherchez une maison adapté à un séjour en famille, vous avez trouvé le bon lieu !
Cette maison au jardin ( non parc !) sublime vous permettra de vivre un séjour au calme , avec toutes les commodités attendues .La "cerise sur le gâteau" est cette piscine intérieure chauffée dont on peut profiter quelque soit le temps dehors ! Nous étions 11 adultes et à l'unanimité nous sommes conquis !! Merci Olivier pour les échanges avant et après la location et d'avoir toujours été très soucieux de notre bien être , sans oublier Didier qui excelle dans l'art de l'accueil . Un grand merci pour nous avoir permis de vivre à travers votre location et votre bienveillance un très beau week-end normand .

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful authentic Norman house. All the facilities you could want for a great holiday, set in stunning grounds and in an ideal location. Communication with property owner and manager was excellent before and during our stay. Highly recommend and would love to return.

Plus jamais!
Malgré un excellent accueil et accompagnement de Didier ( voisin qui s’occupe de nous accueillir ) le séjour fût un véritable sketch :
En arrivant on apprend qu’il n’y a pas de plaque de cuisson (en panne depuis 10 jours) remplacées par une minuscule plaque électrique. Puis nous nous apercevons qu’internet ne fonctionne pas. Appel est fait au propriétaire qui nous dit que ce n’est pas de sa faute mais celle de free qui est déjà au courant. Devant notre exaspération il se déplace depuis paris et comme par enchantement internet refonctionne le lendemain.
Le ménage est pitoyable, gâteau dans le canapé, serviettes usagées sous la table, cartes à jouer, nourriture sous le canapé, vitres de la piscine tellement sales qu’on ne voit pas au travers!
Si vous y allez en famille prévoyez les ustensiles pour cuisiner des pâtisseries, il n’y a rien!
Four qui ne chauffe pas, comme le micro onde.
Pour le bois de la cheminée à vous d’aller le chercher au bout du terrain (a la main car rien pour le transporter.
Et le pire , la maison est envahie par les mouches!
Bref un très mauvais séjour pour nous, très déçu, argent gaspillé là où nous aurions dû nous détendre et profiter…..

J’irai revoir ma normandie
Le premier soir un orage terrible nous a soudainement privés de l’électricité. Réaction immédiate du propriétaire qui nous a proposé de changer de gîte et nous avons accepté cette proposition dès le lundi matin et nous avons été très satisfaits de ce gîte très bien aménagé et répondant parfaitement à nos attentes. Havre de paix pour réunion familiale
Charmante maison normande avec piscine intérieure et sa dépendance. Le parc qui l'entoure est exceptionnel, très bien entretenu et propice à la détente. Très bon séjour. Je recommande et je reviendrais sans hésiter.

Un petit coin de paradis
Magnifique propriété ! Le plaisir de profiter d'une piscine chauffée et couverte à n'importe quelle heure de la journée. Une maison à la campagne et au calme comme on aime. (Et de magnifiques poissons 😜) . On pourrait toujours avoir des choses à redire mais mieux vaut profiter du cadre et de sa famille que de chercher les défauts 🤪

Séjour en famille très agréable
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison avec un très beau charme!
Grand parents, parents, et petits enfants, et même le chien, ont pu profiter et savourer ce séjour.
Grâce au grand espace de la propriété et sa belle verdure, et surtout de la piscine chauffée qui a ravie petit et grand!
Situé pas très loin de la belle ville de Honfleur, où nous y avons fait une petite visite sur la journée, pour y voir son port.
Je recommande cette location, et compte y retourner que ce soit en famille ou entre amis .

After carefully researching large properties in Normandy where we could comfortably come together as a family of 10 for a week, to celebrate my 70th birthday, we unanimously decided on Olivier's two characterful houses set in fabulous secluded grounds. Travelling in three cars from England via Eurotunnel we arrived in Epaignes three and half hours after setting off from Calais. The route was easy to follow along motorways, only having to drive through one major town. Reaching our destination we were greeted with a friendly smile from Didier, site manager. He made it clear that if we needed anything, he was living along the same road which was reassuring to know. As we settled into the properties it quickly became clear that we had got it right in choosing this very special holiday venue. We all made use of the generously sized heated indoor swimming pool most days. You're only 70 once so it was fitting that we celebrated in the larger of the beautiful houses! The grounds were stunning! We also entertained ourselves visiting quaint villages, Sword Beach, a D-Day landing site, a basilica and wine bars! We can all thoroughly recommend Olivier's two Norman houses, without hesitation! Andrew Diedo, Dartford, Kent, England. Ps. My 4 year old granddaughter has named her new teddybear, Didier!

Nous étions 10 retraités. C'était génial pour l'ambiance familiale. Nous pensons que cet endroit est super pour 8 adultes après c'est un peu exigu pour les chambres. Prévoir une chaise dans les chambres de la petite maison. Accès un peu difficile pour handicapés. Mais merci , nous avons beaucoup aimé.

Le cadre est beau , typique ..dans la campagne Normande.
La literie est également correcte .
Mais alors …question propreté tout est à revoir ou plutôt à faire..
Les armoires , les sols , les vitres c est vraiment sale et cela gâche le séjour (4 jours). La piscine d abord en panne a eu du mal à chauffer… Bref JE NE VOUS LE CONSEILLE PAS.

Très bon week-end dans ce lieu agréable pour passer du bon temps avec ses amis et sa famille tout en profitant de la piscine chauffée qui est indéniablement le point fort de cette maison.
Pour le reste mention spéciale à la literie pour des nuits profondes et très confortables.
Je recommande ce lieu rustique avec toutes les commodités

Surper reposant
Nous avons était accueillis par Didier super gentil super patient surtout avec nos 9 enfants qui étaient super excité il a pris le temps de nous faire visiter et de nous expliquer le fonctionnement de la maison
La piscine chauffée a été un vrai plus qui a fait le bonheur de tout les enfants de 1 ans a 17 ans , nous avons l’habitude de voyager et franchement c’est la première fois que tout y est dans une cuisine du sel au savon de lave vaisselle….
Franchement vous avez juste à ramener de quoi vous changer …et un bon groupes de copains ou famille qui ont une bonne dose d’humour
Le point négatif je dirais c’est que c’est pour Maximum 12 personne alors que on peux largement plus dommage

Magnifique jardin mais manque d'équipement de la maison
Nous avons séjourné à 10 adultes + 2 enfants dans la maison.
Le jardin est superbe et la piscine très agréable.
Les parties communes de la maison sont assez exiguës pour la capacité d'hébergement annoncée. La cuisine n'est pas bien équipée : lave-vaisselle défectueux, 3 plaques de cuisson, un petit percolateur, une petite bouilloire, une clayette manquante dans le frigo qui n'est déjà pas trop grand. Très peu de rangements.
Heureusement, le temps a été relativement beau et nous avons pu profiter du jardin. Mais le parasol était cassé.

Nous étions 4, en famille. L’accueil est parfait, pas de formalisme inutile et beaucoup de flexibilité sur les heures de départ et d’arrivée.
La maison possède une cheminée très utile par grand froid, la maison est chaleureuse et bien équipée. La literie et les chambres en général sont très bien.
Un grand « plus« pour la piscine chauffée qui nous avait donné envie sur l’annonce et qui a repli toutes ses promesses !

Belle maison chaleureuse
Tout est fait et pensé pour que les hôtes se sentent bien dans cette maison accueillante. Il y avait même un sapin de Noël pour les fêtes. La piscine, au coeur de la maison est un régal, et un bienfait énorme pour se relaxer et partager en famille. Entourée de baies vitrées d'où l'on peut admirer le jardin, les couleurs, on est comme des rois. On peut profiter des joies d'un feu de cheminée. Le calme règne, on se sent vite détaché de l'extérieur. Il y a de l'espace dans la maison bien équipée et dans le vaste jardin. Tout est très accessible pour les enfants. On reviendra c'est un endroit comme on les aime, on se sent comme chez soi. Excellent séjour.
