Relaxing spot, close to reserve, good coffee next door.

Relaxing spot. Felt like our own little finca! Away from the downtown (5min by car), but that is a good thing! Everything you need right next door (coffee, breakfast, souvenirs, restaurants). Beautiful hiking a few min away by car. But lots of wildlife can be seen directly from your room. Common area fully equipo if you want to eat in.

Great place to relax and enjoy nature.

The property was beautifully kept with plenty of green space to sit and relax. We were able to observe birds and other wildlife in the garden. Plenty of space for kids to explore and enjoy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was within walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shop and small grocery store. It is a short taxi ride to Santa Elena and all the area’s tourist destinations.

Best Hotel during our stay in Costa Rica

We stayed at a Villa with Garden View. The room was perfect with a great garden view. also the small electric oven made it extra cozy to spend time on the couch in the afternoon and read and enjoy a good glass of wine. The hosts were very friendly and responded fast to every request.

A special gem!

From the beginning till check-out everything was perfect! Clean, new and cosy rooms with a view. A real gem is the beautiful garden and the common-room included with kitchen and patio! Adolfo (the host) and Enrique (the gardener) are very sweet and courteous. We would really like to come back some time!

Amazing! if you get a chance to stay her here, do it!

I loved everything about this property! The beautiful secluded location in Monteverde, the rooms were amazing, large common room for recreation, games and meals, and the hosts could not have been nicer.

I would not change anything about this property!

comfortable and relaxing.

It was in a great location and so peaceful. The owners were so friendly and gave us lots of advice as to where to go and what to see. the room was comfortable and blankets were provided for the cold as it did get chilly at night. we loved the use of the communal area and benefits of having a kitchen available.

It was really difficult to drive in and out of the property as their was a step up to the entrance which did damage the bottom of our car.

we loved this place.

very nice for a family of 4. there was a shared kitchen with all the utilities and we needed that. clean and very friendly English speaking owner. very convenient location. clean area. my family had lots of fun staying here. had parking spaces for the cars. kids friendly. some rooms had private kitchen. safe place. close by restaurant el bosque is very allergy friendly for the kids with allergies. we would love to go back here. price is in the upper side I guess.

A wonderful stay in a very convenient location - great for families and all the amenities you need!

The property is set on a large lot of lush, green land with beautiful views of the yard and large, overarching trees. The large, bay window lets in a lot of natural sunlight which is perfect to wake up to and to enjoy the evening views. The beds were very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water available for our showers. The room also had a handy kettle for our morning coffee/tea and a mini fridge to store some of our groceries. The main kitchen and living space was perfect for doing some work, relaxing, and preparing meals. Our girls also loved playing with the treehouse located in the yard. Although the Wi-Fi in the room wasn't great, it was enough to do some light surfing and we could use the kitchen/living room for a stronger connection. The location was excellent - close to town and the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve - and within walking distance to a small grocery store and several restaurants and cafes. And the hosts were excellent! So kind and took the time to chat with us and make us feel really welcome. Thank you especially to Gabriel! Great to meet you :)

Incredible, quiet, beautiful retreat spot near the Monteverde Reserve.

The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. Highly recommend this experience!

You can only pay cash and we didn't expect this, luckily we figured it out. It'd be good to have that info more readable upon booking!

Dreamy nature spot!

Loved the space, the hosts were SO accommodating and friendly. The grounds are expansive and beautiful, so much to do just spending time at the Yerba amenities and shared areas.

Outstanding stay in Monteverde

This place is outstanding and the pictures are not enough to show it! We stayed in a double room which was clean and comfortable, but the real treasure is outside. The property is huge and it has a very well maintained garden surrounded by some really big and beautiful trees. I wish I had more time to spend just in the garden, it was a peace of pure peace and serenity. There are hammocks benches, a tree house (for children), swings (in trees of course) for kids, at least 3 places where you can make a campfire or even a barbeque and a great separate kitchen / living room (this one is common). This place is great, I can't recommend it hard enough!

Rooms not sound proof , so hear next door and a party out the back until 2 am but having spoken to the owner she said this was very unusual , second night quiet

Superb

Great location, the place is very welcoming with Beautiful garden. The family who hosts is very very nice. We are family with 3 kids and got a big cabin that was very convenient (although not new as the others). Every one was very happy !

Best couple

The 2 manger of the hotel is the nicest persons I’ve met in Costa Rica they were so nice to us when we arrive and invited us to wine and cheese They gave us many places in Monteverde to see to eat to enjoy The husband made us a tour in his garden and exlpain about the planets Really really recommended

Exceptional

Amazing and quiet place. Very nice owners. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Kitchen is separate by villa, but it is in center of garden and you can enjoy the meal inside winter garden with nice view into the garden. There is cool kids treehouse with playground. High recommend this place🙂

Overall decent place to stay. There were no other guests. Host did not wear a mask.

The rooms are very well decorated and the room is large. Nice garden space outside. If you get access to the common kitchen, it has everything you need to make a meal. There is a nice shopping area nearby but it closes early.

The hostess didn't bother wearing a mask the two times she interacted with us. She told us the kitchen was not available since there was some 'work' being done. It was after I insisted that we had paid for a kitchen facility that she said ok to us using the kitchen (where there were no signs of any construction work!). Sneaky and irresponsible behaviors.

Best place in Monteverde!

It was super nice! Modern, comfortable and luxurious rooms. Nice veranda and lodge were you could hang out and cook your breakfast/dinner. The owner was so nice and helpful. Helped us booking tours and restaurant. I warmly recommend it!
