The stay was great.

The Food was great, the environment was great, and the Staff was great too.

I didn't like the TV, it was too old and I think the Lodge should get a generator to back load shedding.

Amazing venue. You feel like you're far from the city. The place is beautiful with fruit trees

Breakfast was good and we had a nice selection. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Rustic, yet comfortable. Staff from the spa and Linda at reception and the pool gentleman and the landscaper gentleman and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. Loved walking around the place and looking at the greenhouse etc. The place seems to be adding to the environment by the number of trees they planted as well as the way they have mixed fruit trees in-between.

Room service and dinner is a bit expensive.

Overall good stay.

The venue, the staff and the food was very nice...we had a Great time.

The net by the bed was full of dead bugs and the room was smelling too strong of smoke from the fireplace making it hard to breath properly.

The place is beautiful, the food is amazing, the staff is great

They have dogs in the yard, they are unruly, they bark at people unprovoked, they jump in the pool and lick at our drinks. The TV is old, no Wi-Fi in the rooms. Ants everywhere

The property aesthetic doesn’t aid relaxation. Its too ancient and doesn’t feel or smell clean.

The room was not clean. There was a dead bug on the bed. There were a couple of bugs crawling on the floor. It was too cold. At least we were given hot water bottles. The tv is ancient and didn’t work.

The location of the property is perfect The environment is peaceful and ideal for a weekend rest:

They need to work on the resturant services. There needs to be more clear indications and directions of areas. The staff members need to dress in an appropriate manner and have clear labelling of their name and responsibilities.

Not the best of our experience. Didn't get holiday mood at all. Never again

Their room was not clean at all , we were welcomed with an awful smell . The breakfast was not nice at all . Only two options available and no buffet . Zero presentation on their lunch option as well . A let down

The cold breakfast is not a buffet and it's only two options and Not fresh either , very dry it's like they microwave the food as you come in. The fruits not fresh at all (see image of the lunch we were served for the fish and rice) , we literally threw away the food, they can improve on the food ,it's a BIG let down . Overall we didn't get value for money , it's presenting like a B&B down the road ,not holiday vibe at all. Room 9 has an awful smell (don't book room 9),my husband came back with blocked sinuses from it and definitely not thoroughly cleaned . We really were let down , what you see on the images is total opposite. The place has potential, but not well run , the kitchen can definitely use help

Perfect for an overnight getaway

The staff deserve 5 stars, very helpful and pleasant and accommodating. The food was very good, tasty and plentiful.

Very good

The Oxtail special was fantastic, wonderfully cooked.. Staff is very friendly, and helpful, providing exceptional service.

Lack of WiFI was both good and bad, but really more of negative.

The place is quiet, beautiful pool area, no load shedding, bed was comfortable and room was spacious

There were spiders in the toilet, totally freaked me out. They really need to do much better when it comes to breakfast or food in general, ate dinner at their restaurant and none of my family members were happy with the food. We went for breakfast the following morning we firstly asked for white bread we were given brown when we pointed it out the uninterested waiter advised that's all they had we accepted not a bummer, but as we are about to eat The Bread had Mould 😯 the uninterested waiter(the one with dreads) did not flinch or apologize just asked us if we wanted another bread like really.

What we see on booking.com and what we went too was totally shocking. We were very unhappy and dissapointed with the booking. I dont know where you received a 4 stars from. The bathroom and toilet faculties were disgusting. There was no back-up generators due to load shedding, We couldn't open any windows. The heat was unbearable in the room. W decided not to stay at your premises and drove back home after our function at 1 in the morning. Dont make promises to get people to come in such conditions. I want a Manager to call me back and I want my money back. I paid R 1215.00 and will not accept this pathetic living condition's. I will NEVER recommend this place to any-one. Felt very deceived by the 4 stars. Have travelled all over and have never just left and lost my money

I can’t understand how this property is 4 stars. It’s more a 2 star. I checked in. Had a receptionist in flip flops point out where my room was. Drove up, saw my room ,did a u turn and drove out. I went to a wedding in the area and drove an hour to get home after, rather than stay there.The property was a mess. Leaves everywhere. Broken down vehicles. Felt like I was in a scary movie.

Disappointed - Hakunamatata turned to a weekend full of Matata

The security guards at the gate are very friendly and helpful. The reception staff were also friendly and tried their best to tend to some of my requests. I think the overall issue is the management as a whole and not really the individual staff members.

1. My shower did not have lights and there wasn't anyone available on staff to come change the light bulbs. 2. There were no two pin plugs in both the rooms we booked and had ho back and forth with the staff to finally get some. 3. The restaurant has limited food options, lot's of things in their menu wasn't available. The breakfast options are very limited and doesn't look good. The food doesn't taste really good especially the dinner options. The service at the restuarant need to drastically improve, they bring your food with missing items and tou have to remind them of your order and then have to wait very long for the missing items making the experience very bad. The network is terrible at the restuarant area so card payments were always an issue with payment not going though and having to try multiple times or settle the tab on a different day. If you want room service, you have to pay an extra fee of R55 to the restuarant for your order. 4. My room had spiders in all the corners, even when i was removing the blank there was one on the bed. There's no doom or anything to help kill them in the rooms. 5. They don't do thorough cleaning when doing room service and don't change towels. 6. They only have powder milk and no Fresh milk option at the tea station in the rooms. 7. They don't have smart tvs or dstv options 8. They don't have phones in the rooms to connect to reception, you have to use your own mobile if you need assistance. 9. We experience multiples power cuts, even when it was part of the eskom scheduled times. The properties generator doesn't work efficiently, it goes on and off alot even in the restuarant which further delayed service.

Location is perfect, the rooms are relaxing, lighting is not bright.

The restaurant food can be improved upon...the bath jets were not working and the toilet had some stench after flushing.

Best experience

Stuff was friendly and helpful, Gilbert was great he made us feel at home and Linda , and I could not express more gratitude to memory she made sure our room was clean and up-to-date. Lastly the day security guy, sorry I can't remember his name he also helped us a lot

The fact that the is no wifi , hopefully management will look i to it.
