On the ground floor, a large living room / dining room / kitchen of 150 m² open onto a panoramic terrace with swimming pool (11x6), 5 bedrooms each with a 160 bed, a walk-in shower and a toilet.

Three generations of family holidaying together for 2 weeks. House great, Eric very helpful, location good. More than adequate equipment in the house, loads of beds, walking distance from Saint Papoul which has a small epercie, lovely restaurant, great boulangerie with croissants to die for. Chez Alice serves coffee and other drinks as well as being the corner shop. If you want larger shops just a short drive away. Eric dealt with the small issues we had very quickly as lives just across the road. Children loved the horses and the pool. Pizza van in the village on Tuesday evening but if you want to use it place your order by 4,00 p.m. We all had a great time. Thank you

We had a wonderful time but with a few niggles. Silly things that would have made the overall rating a FIVE STAR one, had we not experienced them. 1. Internet connection very slow, even when close to the router. There was a booster but for a different Wi-Fi connection that we were unable to access. 2. No hairdryer! 3. No cleaning liquids…requiring us to purchase. 4. Drain smell from one of the showers. 5. Main door would not lock! 6. More “local” information would have been helpful. 7. Oh! and the flies! Otherwise, a great stay in a lovely house hosted by the charming, Eric and Tanya. They must come and visit us in Canterbury! Thanks to them.

Excellentes vacances!

Un très bon accueil du propriétaire qui s'est rendu disponible suite à nos quelques demandes. La maison, spacieuse et située en pleine nature, est conforme aux photos: nous n'avons pas été déçus! Une clim' dans la grande chambre sous les toits serait juste appréciable par fortes chaleurs. Mis à part ce petit détail, nous sommes tous enchantés de notre séjour à la villa Pique Musel!

Lovely countryside home

Lovely countryside home

Beautiful house, surrounded by fields with gorgeous horses and donkeys roaming around. My sons love horses and were thrilled too to watch some dressage. Only issue for us was not being able to lock a patio door but this was minor. Many thanks Eric and Anita.

We hadden 14 dagen geboekt om met de familie daar te verblijven. Het is een prachtig huis, omringd door weiden, bossen en velden, echt heeeeeel rustig. Het huis is ruim, netjes ingericht, aparte slaapkamers allen voorzien van eigen toilet en douche. De kids hebben zich reuze geamuseerd in het zwembad. Ook de eigenaar staat direct paraat om te helpen. Het was een super vakantie. Enige jammere is dat je echt overal ver vandaan ligt en er in de nabijheid heel weinig te doen valt. Groeten, Wim

Le cadre est vraiment sublime et la douceur du printemps a particulièrement été apprécié au milieu de la campagne audoise. Fantastic place to spend your vacation

We booked this place end of May to beginning of June 2017. We were lucky with the whether, so we could enjoy the great terrace as well as the pool. This place is really a excellent place to relax for the whole family and friends. The house has very high standard and is very spacious and the environment including the horses, the donkeys, and the relaxing sound of the cicadas during the evenings is just great to relax. The owner Éric allowed us to use also his fenced land for letting our greyhound dogs run (and they really enjoyed it :-)). Plenty of places in the surroundings to visit as well as the south coast just one hour away for a beach day. Overall we were very pleased and would come back any time! Thanks for a great time Éric!!

Un petit bout de paradis a St Papoul !

Nous cherchions un endroit pour nous detendre et se ressourcer, nous avons fait le bon choix!! Magnifique chalet enserre dans un ecrin de verdure!! La proximite du parquage a chevaux est une reelle source de bien etre. Le chalet est spacieux et bien equipe. Le temps capricieux de ce weekend du 1er Mai nous a permis de profiter a la fois du feux de cheminee et de la piscine (meme s'il nous a fallu un peu de courage, le point de vue etait trop bleuffant!). Autre point positif : proximite du village avec boulangerie, epicerie et cafe/restaurant. Nous n'avons pas vu Castelnaudary sur les 3 jours.. Un grand merci a Eric qui a eu la gentillesse de nous deplacer la plancha. Nous reviendrons!

Superbe séjour au calme ensoleillé

Superbe maison avec beaucoup de clarté. Nous sommes des Hauts de France et nous avions besoin de nous échapper de la grisaille !!! Nous étions deux familles avec enfants "adultes". Maison idéale pour recevoir famille et amis (nous étions 12 au total). Piscine, Aménagement et Déco très tendances (mélange moderne et indus). Tout est clair, très spacieux pour un groupe tout en préservant son intimité. Tout le monde a été enchanté du séjour et en garde un très bon souvenir. Nous tenons à remercier Monsieur Racaud pour son excellent accueil et sa gentillesse, il est toujours à l'écoute d'un quelconque besoin. Nous recommandons VIVEMENT ce lieu idéal bordé de nature.
