About this villa rental
In a completely private setting, with more than 60 m of seafront and a heated swimming pool, at the Bastion you enjoy a unique place.
The Bastion has been redesigned to accommodate 5 families of 4 people, with open spaces and beautiful volumes. The 250 m² villa, on 2 levels, offers a sea view from most of its rooms. A major renovation ended a can and allows you to benefit from a completely new universe.
We are very happy with the results of this work and hope that you will share our satisfaction.
We have created a page on a social network so that you can follow the life of the Bastion and see its transformation: rental villa "Le Bastion" 20 pers.
There is no shortage of assets outside the Bastion. With its landscaped garden on an enclosed plot of 1350 m2.
You will find :
- a heated swimming pool (from mid-May to mid-September, depending on weather conditions) of 30 m² with its lockable low shelter;
- a summer kitchen and its dining area;
- different terraces surrounding the house. You can, at any time of the day, find different atmospheres and something to meet everyone's expectations;
- direct access to the sea, by a wooden staircase, closed by a gate;
- bikes are available (4 adults and one teen size);
- At the end of the park, a parking space can accommodate 5 cars (in the immediate vicinity of the entrance gate, free public parking of ten spaces can also be used).
The Bastion offers great comfort through its 12 furnished and perfectly equipped rooms, namely:
On the ground floor :
- a large open kitchen fully equipped, with in addition the 2-oven cooking piano, microwave, dishwasher and large worktops, a wine cellar and 3 fridges will be at your disposal;
- a laundry room with a washing machine, a dryer, a freezer, a second dishwasher and plenty of storage;
- a modular dining area extended by a large living room leading to the veranda facing the ocean, which offers an incredible view of the bay of Yves;
- an office playroom including a small sofa and a television;
- two toilets with washbasin
- a bedroom (140X200 bed) with its bathroom.
Upstairs :
- 4 bedrooms (160X200 beds) each with their own bathroom;
- 2 dormitories of 5 beds each (90X190 beds) open on a balcony;
- a toilet ;
- a bathroom with a shower, a bathtub and a large basin.
The Bastion is equipped with wifi, televisions (living room and office), video player - Blueray, game console (WII and PS-3).
Household linen and sheets are provided within the limit of 20 beds. This service was, in previous seasons, optional (15 € / person), it is now included in the rent.
Two baby cots are also available, and can be placed in the different rooms on request, their sheets and duvets will not be provided.
The end-of-stay cleaning service is included (excluding storage). This service was, in previous seasons, optional (300 €), it is now included in the rent.
In the immediate vicinity of the Bastion, you can enjoy:
- a first beach, at the end of the garden, and several others a few hundred meters away,
- the bowling green of the casino meadow (200 m),
- green wood and its fitness trail (250 m),
- a bicycle rental company (400 m away) in summer,
- the sailing school of the north port (500 m),
- each summer a family funfair takes place on the edge of the north beach (650m);
- the Casino (700 m away), open all year round, with its cinema, bar and restaurant;
- from the pedestrian city center at around 1000 m. You will find all the shops and services there. Two typical halls, one dedicated to seafood and the other to land products,
- At the end of the pedestrian heart is Fort Vauban, which marks the end of the Grande Plage, its embankment, its cafes and restaurants, then shops follow one another until the Casino.
Very close to the Bastion:
- Pointe de la Fumée, a great place for fishing on foot, opposite Ile D’Aix and the Fort Boyard "telegenic". It is also the embarkation point for the islands in the area. Many oyster farmers have their huts there.
- Tennis courts (6), mini golf (2X18 holes), 9-hole golf course in the neighboring town (15 minutes by car).
- At the entrance to the almost-island is a supermarket with its service station and a "Drive" offer (Super U).
- All health professionals are present in Fouras-Les-Bains.

Grande réussite
Villa parfaitement adaptée pour un séjour en famille un peu nombreuse (18 au maximum) sans gêne réciproque. Tout est disponible à proximité courses comme loisirs. L'accueil par les propriétaires fut aussi agréable que la maison et son emplacement.

Villa très agréable et parfaitement équipée
Nous avons séjourné en famille (17 personnes entre 10 et 88 ans) une semaine au Bastion à Fouras. La maison est spacieuse, très bien entretenue et parfaitement équipée pour accueillir un grand groupe. Même par temps gris, elle est très lumineuse et offre à toute heure une vue imprenable sur la baie.
Seuls petits bémols : la piscine n'est pas très grande ni très profonde (parfaite pour de jeunes enfants mais les adultes s'y sentiront peut-être à l'étroit) et on peut difficilement nager dans la mer devant la maison (même à marée haute) en raison de la vase. Mais il y a de belles plages non loin, facilement accessibles à pied ou en vélo (6 vélos sont mis à disposition avec la maison) et plein d'excursions à proximité (Rochefort, La Rochelle, l'île d'Aix,...). Une adresse à recommander donc !

Super séjour à Fouras
La villa est posée sur la mer avec possibilité de se baigner en contrebas à marée haute. La vue est très belle sur la mer et les cabanes de pêcheurs.
La piscine est sécurisée et chauffée, ce qui est très bien avec des enfants en bas âge.
Les photos sont tout à fait conformes à la réalité!
Ce qui est agréable, c'est qu'il est possible de tout faire à pied ou en vélo (quelques vélos sont d'ailleurs laissés à la disposition des locataires par les propriétaires) donc tout est accessible facilement.
Dans le centre, il y a tout le nécessaire pour faire ses courses (notamment du poisson frais) et les plages de sable sont également très proches.
La maison est très propre et fonctionnelle (plusieurs frigidaires et lave-vaisselle) parfaitement adaptée à un groupe.
Nous étions 17 personnes (8 adultes, 9 enfants) et cette simplicité logistique nous a beaucoup aidé.
Enfin, les propriétaires sont très gentils et disponibles à l'arrivée et durant le séjour.
Donc nous recommandons vivement un séjour à la villa!

Le seul bémol, le prix, mais on sait a quoi s'en tenir des la réservation.
Pour le reste, tout est vraiment parfait:
l'emplacement, la vue, les pieds dans l'eau (a marée haute !), la piscine, le confort, l'équipement, ...
Bref, un séjour en famille inoubliable !

Un lieu d’exception
Ce lieu est tout simplement magique. Les photos sont belles mais lorsque vous arrivez sur place, que de surprises !
Une vue à couper le souffle, une piscine chauffée et spatieuse, une maison charmante, décoration soignée, de très grandes chambres avec leur salle de bain, une cuisine sur-équipée et si bien organisée, des jeux pour les petits comme les grands, un espace salle à manger pouvant accueillir facilement 20 personnes et la mise à disposition de vtt et table de Ping Ping.
Madame Arnault a été très réactive dans nos échanges et très arrangeante !
Merci pour ce moment de bonheur que j’ai pu partager avec mes proches.

Traumhafte Villa, traumhafter Meerblick - unvergesslicher Familienurlaub
Wir verbrachten wunderschöne zwei Wochen in der Villa. Wir wurden von Frau Arnault und ihrem Mann sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen und durch das Haus geführt.
Das Haus ist mit allem sehr gut ausgestattet, was man sich wünscht, besonders die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es gibt sogar Sachen, die man nicht zu Hause hat, aber gerne hätte... Die Villa ist gut durchdacht, es gibt genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten und wenn der Bedarf da ist, auch ruhige Ecken, um sich zurück zu ziehen. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist hervorragend mit dem fantastischen Blick auf das Meer! Auch die fünf Fahrräder haben sich als sehr nützlich gezeigt, um einfach mal nach Fouras zu fahren oder kleinere Touren zu machen. Für die Kinder war der Pool das Highlight! Er wurde von früh bis spät genutzt.
Es war ein unvergesslicher Urlaub! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Une villa magnifique avec une vue à vous couper le souffle.
Nous avons célébré notre mariage dans ce lieu magique. Nous avons profité autant de l extérieur que l intérieur. Tout est prévu pour se sentir bien de suite. Un intérieur décoré avec goût. Une cuisine juste hallucinante : tout y est! Des chambre avec salle de bain.. 2 dortoirs avec une salle de bain commune faite pour les plus petits.
Bref tout est détaillé parfaitement dans le descriptif.. alors autant que vous sachiez aussi que si vous réservez cette villa vous aurez une interlocutrice charmante qui sera à votre écoute et d une grande gentillesse. Ça compte ça aussi!!
Je suis tombée amoureuse de cet endroit et je sais qu un jour mon mari et moi y retournerons...

Weekend inoubliable
Dans un cadre idyllique en bord de mer avec piscine chauffée, cette magnifique villa offre tout ce dont nous avions besoin :
cuisine très bien équipée, chambre avec salle de bain privative, grand salon, barbecue & plancha ...
La vue est sublime, l'accès à la plage directement depuis la maison se fait via un escalier.
Nous recommandons fortement cette villa pour des weekends ou événements spéciaux qui resterons gravés à jamais...

Après un weekend de 4 jours que nous avons passé à 3 couples plus des enfants nous avons été vraiment très satisfait des prestations proposés. Nous avons pris le forfait linge de maison ainsi que le forfait ménage fin de séjour. Il y a tout le matériel nécessaire pour cuisiner, manger et dormir jusqu'à 20 personnes avec beaucoup de confort.
Les chambres, la cuisine et les coins salons sont très fonctionnels et vraiment bien équipés, il y a aussi des jeux à disposition pour les enfants. Les adultes comme les enfants ont tous été ravis de ce weekend et du cadre très agréable de la maison et de ses extérieurs. Nous avons profité du salon avec vu sur la mer et la piscine toute à fais adaptée pour les enfants.
La propriétaire des lieux nous accueillie avec professionnalisme et gentillesse. Je conserve cette adresse pour y revenir avec grand plaisir une autre fois.

villa idéalement située
Nous voulions passer un réveillon inoubliable avec vue mer, cela a été le cas grâce à cette magnifique villa avec une vue à couper le souffle du lever du jour à la tombée de la nuit. Un spectacle dont on ne s'est pas lassé durant tout notre séjour.
La villa est par ailleurs très bien équipée et très bien agencée de sorte qu'on ne se rend pas compte de sa grande surface. Les enfants étaient ravis du format dortoir. Super endroit à louer sans hésiter.

La maison avec la vue sur la mer est idéalement placée. Elle est particulièrement bien équipée et il y a tout le matériel pour les enfants! La décoration est soignée, les lieux sont spacieux, chacun peut avoir son intimité, les salles d'eau associées aux chambres sont un grand luxe; c'était un séjour vraiment agréable avec toute la famille (17 personnes). Les propriétaires nous ont accueilli avec bonne humeur, disponibilité et gentillesse.
