We stayed here during Thanksgiving. The hosts left us wine, coffee, aluminum foil, and a meat thermometer which was very thoughtful. In addition, I had questions about the t.v. set-up before we arrived (Thanksgiving football games, you know) and received an immediate response. We also had a closet lightbulb out and the host immediately brought us a new light. The kitchen was well-appointed and the house was very quiet. We enjoyed being able to walk to a local coffee place and local bars--great location. Highly recommend.

This house was great for our trip! We had three couples, and there was plenty of space for each of us on our own and to share when we wanted to be together. Amazing location near the west side spots, and walkable to downtown. Also, the service was unmatched, as they were flexible and responsive with our changes!

This house was the perfect location for my group to enjoy the city (~0.3-1 mile walk to a ton of breweries and restaurants) and also all the awesome outdoors surrounding the city (~15-20 minute drive to a ton of different trails). The house had great sleeping options for our group of 8 and an open kitchen/living room/dining room for plenty of space to hang out. The hot tub has to be accessed through the front door and around the yard, a bit cold during the winter, but not difficult at all. I would highly recommend this rental!

My family came and stayed at this property for thanksgiving. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking and baking supplies we could want to make dinner (we did bring our own roasting pan), and was a nice spot to return back to after a day of hiking. Nice House, Bad Experience
This house was comfortable for our extended family group. The family room, dining room and kitchen accommodated us well. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, though the fold-out couch (we are told) was not. The hot tub was a welcome plus. It's a good neighborhood, close to Newport Market (groceries), coffee shops, brewpubs, parks, etc.
Unfortunately, our experience was not great. Our first night, several smoke alarms went off at 3:15 a.m. When we called the property managers the next morning, we also mentioned that the dishwasher did not appear to be draining. A maintenance person came that day, replaced one or two batteries in the smoke alarms (no communication with us about what had gone wrong), and left. Someone at the property manager's office said the dishwasher should be fine. That night we were again startled awake by smoke alarms going off, this time about 11:30 p.m., which turned out to be lucky because the dishwasher was spewing water all over the kitchen floor, which we mopped up. We called the property manager's emergency number, no response. The next morning, we received a text from the on-call person that they had turned their phone off and just gotten our now 8-hour old message. Later, the person who came said that smoke alarms and a dishwasher malfunction weren't an emergency anyway. We did not agree.
That day, someone came and checked all the smoke alarms and replaced additional batteries. No more alarm problems after that. We were, however, ordered out of the house in order to have the dishwasher fixed. Whoever came while we were out was unable to fix it that day. When we talked with Victoria, the senior person at the property manager, she said it was ridiculous that we had been ordered out.
When we finally worked directly with Victoria, problems were solved - the dishwasher was ultimately fixed (after we'd been in the house for a week), she personally delivered sheets that should have been on the hide-a-bed but weren't, she assured thing were finally sorted out. We were grateful that our final several days were pleasant and uneventful, but it took the better part of a week of frustration to get to that point.
So - good house; when Victoria was involved, good experience; otherwise, not so much.

We stayed here for a work trip so not much time was spent at the home. The windows give you a nice view of the neighbors backyard and inside of their home so this is not a very private setting. The amenities were great and there was a garage for the car. Otherwise happy with the stay!

The location is great with plenty of good eats walking distance and the mountain biking not far. I only have a few minor gripes that make it a 4 star. The pillows are very thin and stained from heavy use. We tried to grill steaks for dinner one night but the propane was empty. These are easy to fix and would give it a five star.

The house is very well located in a nice little neighborhood. While a little dated, it is very clean as well. A few notes to keep in mind if you are staying here: There are window AC units only in the master bedroom and in the living room downstairs. The side yard area containing the hot tub is very small and not a place your dog can spend time if that is a concern. The home is well appointed and had great food and drink options near by. We loved walking by the river and we love Central OR. Unfortunately we had issues with this property manager. The team was very responsive during the booking process and even approved a late check out which we very much appreciated. However on our first morning we discovered a leak thru the floor from one of the showers our family only had access to 1 shower during our stay. We emailed twice and called twice over 2 days with no response. On the third day after no response I called the emergency number (during the day) and spoke to the owner who happened to answer. She was very apologetic and I asked her by phone and email to please follow up with me the next day since we did not have use of the second shower. She did not follow up except to respond to my YELP review - which I left 3 days after departure - blaming me for not calling the emergency number. I expect property managers to respond to emails and phone calls during stays - especially when we are trying to help them avoid serious damage to the property. Lastly they sent a plumber on our day of check out but 2 hours before our departure time - while we were packing up. It would appear that our late check out time was not recorded. I have never left a negative review after staying at well over a dozen properties. I hope the prop manager reviews her protocols as this is a great vacation home.
