Our family of five enjoyed our stay very much. The chalet is well-located and well-equipped with everything you need: laundry machine, dishwasher and everything one needs in a kitchen from pressure cooker to fondue kit, Great books for adults and children in several languages too!
Owners are very helpful and friendly.
The stairs are tricky for young children until they get used to them.
The only thing that could be improved perhaps is the mattress in the main bedroom. Other than that, perfect.
A charming and comfortable chalet,

Great little chalet. Good location at the bottom of Plagne 1800 with a very short walk to the 1800 chairlift. Lovely and warm with the fire and radiator in the dining area as well as the heated towel rail in the bathroom. Francoise and Romain were very helpful and were easy to get in touch with if we had any questions. If there was one thing I had to pick out is the lack of space to store skis/boots, it would be lovely if there was a storage room with boot dryers/warmers. Thank you guys.

We were fortunate enough to find last minute availability for this beautiful chalet in La Plagne 1800.
The hosts were so accommodating and made our stay just perfect!
There is a supermarket and multiple local restaurants just a short walk away. As well as close access to the ski lifts. We also made use of the free La Plagne bus service.
We will definitely be returning!

If you want a traditional Savoyarde chalet with spectacular views in a quiet location but conveniently placed for skiing, town and lifts, then this is it. There is always a warm welcome from Françoise and Romain and nothing is too much trouble.

A really lovely chalet, with everything you need. Nicely situated within walking distance to lifts, but a little away from town for that ‘off the grid’ feeling. Françoise was accommodating and flexible for our check in time, she was helpful and checked in with us during our stay.

After a previous stay cut short due to the outbreak of COVID, we were thrilled to return to this delightful chalet with its traditional Savoyarde feel, stunning views, close to the piste location and excellent facilities. Already planning our return!

Short but so very sweet!
Despite our holiday being cut short due to COVID19 enforced resort closure, the time we had there was outstanding. We could’t have wished for a better welcome, a more beautiful chalet or a more fabulous location. The facilities and provisions are excellent. A quirky, though really well appointed, traditional Savoyard chalet with so much charm and character. Wi-fi was consistently strong.
It’s one of those lucky finds that you know you will return to again and again!
We are already sorting dates to rebook.
Thank you Françoise and Roman(?), you couldn’t have been more helpful and we are looking forward to seeing you both again soon!

Charming chalet,great host
The chalet is a recommendation to everyone who loves the old charm of the structure and modern comfort inside .
At our arrival ,we ( family of 6, all adults) have been welcomed by Francoise . She and her son helped us with taking our luggage to the chalet as you can not get to the chalet by car.
We parked the car for free at a carpark only a few minutes walk.
The chalet is very nice, you feel like you are at someones home and not in a rental . It is very nicely decorated with personal and handmade items. The kitchen is well equipped and big enough to cook with 2-3 people. The diningtable is huge, the pelletburner warms up the chalet is minutes. The shower is spacious and there are loads of lovely towels. The beds are comfortable but if you are a tall person (+ 1.90 M ), you may find them a bit short.
When we informed Francoise we were having trouble with the internet, she took immediate action and solved the problem.
Before the the expected big dump of snow, she texted us that we did not need to worry, they would help is clear it. She is a great host!
Because we would have lunch at the chalet it is very confinient that you can ski to your doorstep. For hitting the slopes afterwards it is just a 3 minute walk to the chairlift.
There is a bakery at a 6 minutes walk and a small supermarket.
We had been in La Plagne many times but never at 1800. It has been a pleasant experience.
The chalet(and host) has exeded our expectations.

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Charming Chalet with Magnificent Views
We're back from a superb holiday at La Plagne. The Chalet was excellent: very clean and well equipped. The surroundings and views were to die for. It is located right next to the forest with magnificent views of Mount Blanc and the whole mountain range. We saw a deer a few steps away from the chalet, pity we were caught by surprise and did not manage to take a photo. The only hitch was the problem with the internet connection. which only worked for a day or two. Ideally, one would have been made aware of beforehand so as to make alternative arrangements. Other than that, we would return back any time any day. Merci Françoise pour ton hospitalité. Votre chalet est superbe.

A week with my sons in La Plagne - cozy quirky accommodation and excellent skiing
Visited for a week in March 2019 with my two adult sons. The owner, Francoise was very helpful, and the chalet was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable; wood pellet burning stove in the dining room for heating was straightforward, but turn it off at night as it gets hot and back on in the morning to warm the place up. We weren’t cold at all during our stay. Kitchen has all you need, although not having saucepan lids must be a French thing as the place we stayed at in 1800 in January didn’t have them either. A nice touch was that Francoise provided clothes washing capsules and dishwasher tablets and all those things you end up having to buy just to use 5 of in rhe mountains. The chalet has a quirky layout with the downstairs comprising entrance, kitchen, shower, toilet and dining room with the pellet stove then you walk up a space saving stairs to two bedrooms, one with a sloping roof with twin beds in and the other main double with a nice bed, wardrobe, sofa, table and some chairs. Views great. For the skiing you have to walk down hill, through the Cocoon hotel carpark to the 4 man chair, about 5 mins walk away; if you are a reasonable skier then you can ski back to the chalet off piste from the black run near by, otherwise its a return walk uphill. There is no parking at the chalet in winter, so you park in one of the main public car parks near the ski lift. Boulangerie is about 10 minutes walk, or 15 mins to the Spar supermarket. We ate at the Loup Blanc which was okay, Grizzly in Plagne Village which was excellent and a superb pizza restaurant at the bottom of the Roche lift, otherwise in the chalet. My only frustration was that the wifi didn’t work which is annoying in this day and age. We could get by on our phone data, but the signal drops all the time if you want to stream anything. The wifi at the chalet is provided by a 4G dongle, rather than a proper connection, but if that could be fixed it would have been perfect. Overall, enjoyed being out in the mountains with my sons and nothing about the chalet would put me off renting it again.

Very cosy traditional chalet
Very cosy, well equipped chalet. Close walking distance to 1800 lift, restaurant/bar. Potential for ski in/ski out dependant on snow levels and ski capability.
The owner was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend for a small family or group of friends.

A delightful chalet, amazing peaceful location yet still within walking distance of everything.
We had a great week. A very warm welcome from Francoise and son set the tone for a lovely holiday. The chalet has everything you need, is very comfortable and toasty warm.

Lovely and cozy
We loved our stay at the chalet, very warm and cozy, we had everything we needed. Waking up every morning to the view of these mountains is a magnificent experience. We didn't see any deer but we saw their foot prints around the chalet every morning. This typical, well renovated chalet is set apart from the busy and noisy Le Plagne 1800 but walking distance to it as well as to the free shuttle bus stop, bakery, restaurants, bars etc. You can even ski in and out of the chalet. Francoise welcome us with a yummy home made cake and jam. She is a lovely host.

Super relaxing in superb mountain retreat.
A fabulous location with superb views of Mt. Blanc. The chalet was perfectly decorated and equiped and the owner had really gone out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Fabulous place for both summer and winter holidays. Lots of gorgeous walks around for the little ones and plenty to keep everyone busy. We look forward to going back!

Back for a second year
Finally getting around to writing our review from our stay in February!
This was a return visit for us, our first stay was in 2015. On arrival we were greeted again by the lovely owner, Françoise, and her son. Such charming and helpful hosts who make the chalet very homely and welcoming. Home-from-home.
Of course we knew what to expect, and it didn't disappoint. The tranquility of the location and the beautiful scenery from the windows. The warm & cosy rooms, very clean throughout and the well equipped kitchen. With a quick trip on the free bus to Plagne Centre market to buy our meat & cheese, we made full use of the chalet's fondue & raclette during the week.
Skiing conditions were fabulous again and so we enjoyed the skiing all the way back to the door (not for beginners).
And the best bit... we're coming back to stay here again next season!

(Bon niveau)

Wonderful location and beautiful chalet
We received a very warm welkom by the owner. The chalet looks rustique from the outside and is very well and modernly equipped on the inside. Surroundings are quiet with a beautiful view. We had a wonderful week with lots of activities and hikes.

Fantastic, beautiful, perfect
The chalet was more than we could have hoped for, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. A lovely wood-pellet stove keeps the chalet warm & cosy. Francoise, the owner, made us feel very welcome showing us around and making sure we had everything we needed.
The location is stunning, even better than we imagined from the photos. The chalet is secluded up a private track (shared with a couple of other buildings - but we didn't see anyone else during our week), there was not a sound to be heard in the evenings. Bliss. There is a little up-hill walk to the shops & bars etc of Plagne 1800, so instead we took the free bus to Plagne Centre (bus stop near to the chalet, with buses running every 15 mins from early morning until after midnight).
Ski hire was easy from Sport 2000 (at Plagne 1800).
From the chalet we skied out down to the 1800 lift (just need to walk part across a hotel's drive). We skied back all the way to the door at the end of the day (off a 'Red' and a short cut off piste - not problem for intermediates).
We'll definitely be going back to stay again!
