About this apartment rental
1st floor of a fisherman's house in the late eighteenth century renovated, gentle life and exotic Mediterranean for this charming duplex apartment, very well located on the harbor in pedestrian zone. Air conditioning. WIRELESS. Car park. Recently renovated, spacious (50 m2), with spacious, bright, it offers a direct view of the enchanting port of Cassis. On the ground floor: entrance from kitchen to living room and living room with high ceilings, laundry room, separate WC. First floor: mezzanine bedroom, bathroom. Everything is in perfect condition and fit smoothly into this small authentic Provencal port, away from traffic. The shops, the beach and the bay of Cassis are within 150 meters. All amenities are on-site tourist office, starts for the creeks by boat, boat rental with or without license sea, sea fishing departures, departures for scuba diving, restaurants, kindergarten, etc. Warranty holiday atmosphere.
Optional: bed linens+houskeeping , and parking space for a vehicle in covered parking and secure (on request).

The massif des calanques is within walking distance from the apartment (about 20 minutes walk).
The reception is limited to 3-4 people maximum Although the apartment is large (50 m2) and equipped with 6 beds, the number of people is limited to ensure a good quality comfort.

TO VISIT AROUND CASSIS: At 20 km, the Old Port & ND de la Garde in Marseille. At 25 km, medieval village of Castellet Bandol vineyards. At 30 km, Aix-en-Provence.
TRAIN: Cassis is served every 60 minutes by train from St Charles train station in Marseille (20 mn by TER) and Toulon. Correspondence with the TGV from Paris and Lyon who arrive in Marseille.
AIRPORT: Airport Marseille-Provence (Marignane) 50 km (1 hour by highway). Shuttle buses connect the airport to St Charles SNCF train station in Marseille every 15 minutes. The station of Cassis is served every 40 minutes from the Gare St Charles de Marseille (see previous paragraph).

Our stay in Cassis has been wonderful. Our apartment was perfectly located to reach the beaches within minutes and the harbour restaurants are literally on your door step. The harbour is picturesque with a fun, vibrant nightlife, however, the street noise did not bother us in our 2nd floor apartment.
The owner was very accessible and easy to reach via email. He answered all of our questions and gave us super details on how to find the apartment. All other necessary details are clearly laid out for you in the apartment.
The layout of the 2 floors made it feel so spacious and it was a great place to stay. Cassis is gorgeous and you can enjoy the view of the castle and harbour as you look out the window of this apartment. Thank you, Jean-Pierre

I spent a wonderful two-week holiday in this flat with my wife-to-be. Everything was as expected and as promised. Cassis is a lively and charming little town, with plenty of restaurants and shops, with the sea at a mere two minute walk. The view from the window was spectacular and if you're lucky (we were) you can enjoy some fireworks in the evening. Everybody is cheerful and you can't go wrong with French food. Be it said, however, that those who like chicken and pork will have a tough time finding them. As for the flat, is has everything that is needed for a perfect time. All in all, a very nice experience. And we would be remiss in not putting in a kind word for Jean Pierre, our host, who proved cooperative and understanding and wrote back quickly every time we asked for some info. I spent most wonderful week of holidays with my little kid, in that apartment! The location is above and beyond any dreams - just few steps from the restaurants, shops, caffees, picturesque Cassis port - and, most important, the beach!
The apartment itself is quite comfortable, has everything you might need for your comfort and entertainment. Clean, cosy, not too hot in the midday (essential for such a hot climate!).
The area looks quite secure, which is very important for people with kids. The owners are very friendly, it was a pleasure to deal with them.

I and my wife stayed in apartment since 22 to 29 of June 2013. Common impression: excellent. This proposal is the best solution for people who are looking for the warm sea, wonderful nature, quiet and well-equipped apartment for the real relaxation during vacations. If you want to see a harbor full of romantic sunny yachts, when opening your window in the morning, it is your choice. I visited Cassis a few times stayed in different hotels and apartments. I would say the proposed apartment seems to be the most nice and comfortable among all I stayed in.
