About this house rental

This charming house located in an old fishing village, is a privileged place to rest alone or with family. You will appreciate it for its absolute calm and its proximity to the sea. You can easily access by bicycle, on foot, or by car to the villages of Barneville or Carteret, to its beaches, but also to its seaside restaurants, its typical markets and its local shops.
The house consists of a large living room, a living room with fireplace, and an American kitchen opening onto a large garden facing south.
On the first floor a large master bedroom with a double bed of 160, as well as a bathroom with walk-in shower, and WC.
On the second floor a very large bedroom with two 90 cm beds, convertible into a 180 bed, if necessary, a large office or games area.
The house is equipped with a large TV screen, Internet access and WIFI.
Possible excursions from Carteret, the Channel Islands (Jersey / Guernesay ...), Mont St. Michel at 1:30, the city of the sea, the casino, the theater in Cherbourg in Corentin.

We really enjoyed the stay. House and garden are very nice, beds are very comfortable 15 minutes walking distance to the sea. Unfortunately we were not lucky with with the weather and every day was extremely windy. Communication with Catherine was very easy by WhatsApp. Only Suggestion we have is some more Information about local markets & dates and a bigger pot to cook noodles or fresh seafood from the market. Many thanks to Catherine, Gerad and Isabelle for a very nice stay in Barneville.

Maison complètement équipée pour tous besoins, bien propre, au village calme, charmant et proche de la ville. La description conforme parfaitement à ce qu'on vu à l'arrivée. On y a eu un séjour très agréable, notre première expérience en Normandie nous a lassé l'envie de venir encore et encore. Merci beaucoup

Nous avons passé un très agréable sejour dans cette ravissante petite maison , meublée avec goût , généreusement équipée . Le jardin fleuri est un vrai délice et surtout cette petite maison est située dans un petit hameau qui est d'un calme remarquable . Le petit centre ville de Carteret se situe à 12 mn à pied . Nous reviendrons dès que nous pourrons .

Très bel endroit, très calme en fin d’année. La maison est un cocon, très bien équipée. La literie est top, le chauffage au sol agréable, la cheminée un vrai bonheur après une après-midi de balade sous la pluie. De très nombreuses promenades, de très bons commerçants.... Nous avons eu un très bon contact avec les propriétaires qui sont joignables en cas de besoin tout comme la personne qui gère la maison sur place. En conclusion, nous y avons passé un super séjour et nous y retournerons à une autre saison afin de pouvoir profiter du très grand jardin.

La maison et son jardin ont beaucoup de charme et sont très soignés. Nous nous y sommes immédiatement senties bien, comme chez nous. Le site est très calme.

Booking was easy and the owners were very helpful. The property is traditional but with all the modern high quality amenities you could want for a very enjoyable stay. A great feature in the dining room is the large window which gives a view of the garden and brings light flooding into the house. The garden extends much further than the images show and is bordered with trees so very private. Barneville is an easy walk inland for a good variety of shops and bars. Maison Renard is a superb bakery and definitely worth a visit! Walking towards the sea, is Carteret with shops, restaurants, bars and continuing along the estuary, you reach a sheltered beach. To the north and south are miles of golden sandy beaches. Markets are a feature of the area, with two in Barneville-Carteret in the summer. We will certainly be back.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im schönen Ambiente sehr genossen! Auch die beiden Städtchen Barneville und Cataret laden zur "Balade" ein. Strände und Dünen in der Umgebung sind wunderschön! Würden jederzeit wieder hier Urlaub machen Grüße Cornelia und Ernst

Wonderful lovely house, fully equiped, with garden and parking space

ENG/GER It is a beautiful old, lovingly and high quality restored stone house. Very nice landlord and really completely furnished! We and our children enjoyed the stay very much. The garden is great for relaxing. Several great sandy beaches are within easy walking distance. Likewise a baker with great pastries. A large supermarket can also be reached in a few minutes by car. We can really recommend this property! —————— Es ist ein wunderschönes älteres, liebevoll und hochwertig restauriertes Steinhaus. Sehr nette Vermieter und wirklich komplett eingerichtet! Wir und unsere Kinder haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Garten ist toll zum entspannen. Mehrere tolle Sandstrände sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ebenso ein Bäcker mit tollen Backwaren. Ein großer Supermarkt ist auch in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir können dieses Objekt wirklich sehr empfehlen!

Haus wie im Internet beschrieben; sehr schön angelegter Garten; angenehm ruhig; gute Bäckerei in Barneville in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar; sehr bequeme Betten; leider wird keine Bettwäsche zur Verfügung gestellt (bzw. nur zu einem hohen Preis) Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern oder Leute mit Knieproblemen ist das Haus auf Grund der steilen, schmalen Treppe allerdings nicht zu empfehlen.
