About this house rental
The Lodge is a rustic retreat perfect for a large family gathering, friends gathering for a memorable football weekend, holidays or any celebration. The Lodge is an elegantly decorated 2,600 square feet home with 4 bedrooms and two living rooms. The entire interior of the home is crafted of wood, providing a charming and cozy atmosphere. The house accommodates up to 10 people and has a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker and Keurig. The architecture highlights include a large open floor plan, chef's kitchen, screened in porch and large wrap-around porch. The porch gives you plenty of room to relax or entertain any time of the year. The main level is an open floor plan with a large living space. The upstairs of this home features two quiet, peaceful bedrooms with a shared full bath. The upstairs also includes a living space, perfect for watching TV, reading a book or area for kids to play. The downstairs includes a master bedroom with a private full bath and a guest bedroom with 2 sets of built-in twin sized bunkbeds. The bunkbed room is a favorite with children of all ages. The bunk room has an adjoining full bath. The property also features Direct TV, complimentary WIFI and washer/dryer for your convenience. A Weber charcoal grill.

Beautiful and comfortable. Enough room for everyone. There were a few minor issues with plumbing and electrical that I let Daniel know that I’m certain will be fixed. Would stay again.

We absolutely loved our visit to Taylor. This was our first time staying this far out from campus but it was very easy to navigate to/from Ole Miss. The house was perfect for our group and such a peaceful setting. Great hosts! Thank you for the hospitality!

Everything went really well and it was just the right size for family to come and go and stay the night if they wanted to. The only issue we had was the fridge stopped working and I let them know but no one ever came to check on it. They did say we could use the other houses fridge that was on the property but that was inconvenient to run up to every time we needed something. The owners are super nice but just kind of drop the ball on that. Other than that, we had an amazing time with family!!

Had a wedding at Plein Air and the house was in a great location and was perfect for our family to meet up at. Beds were very comfortable! Would rent again!

Graduation Weekend Stay for Family
This is a perfect place for a group of 10 +/- ...especially family! Comfortable and clean. We had 10 staying at the home, with ages ranging from 1 to 63, plus some more family coming over for meals and relaxing. Very peaceful and far enough out to be "away" from busy downtown Oxford when you want, but not so far that it's is any inconvenience at all. Plus Taylor Grocery is right down the street. The owners were very responsive to all communication before and during our stay. The reason we're giving a 4 star is due to an unexpected mechanical concern during our stay that we had to work around. That being said, the owners were very responsive and offered us several options for the work-around which was very nice. If it was possible to give a 4.75, we would do that. I have no doubt would definitely stay here again if/when we have a group coming to Oxford. It was spacious and had everything we needed to have a fun family weekend for our daughter's college graduation.

Came to the area for a family reunion. Perfect place to share meals, rock on the porch in multiple rocking chairs, and play games at the long dining room table. Perfect! Will definitely want to come back !

We had the best weekend at Cypress Woods Lodge. The kids enjoyed nature and the adults enjoyed sipping cold drinks under the fans on the large porch that was always filled with laughter. Dinner at Taylor Grocery was convient, welcoming, and delicious as always. Travel into Oxford was easy using Uber and Taxis. I can’t even begin to explain how fabulous this home is... it is spacious and well decorated. The kitchen is built for a chef’s delight. The closest I could possibly come
saying something negative about Cypress Woods is that once discovered, it will be more difficult to rent because everyone will want to return. No other property will come close :).

This feels like you're out in the middle of nowhere, but really you're close to everything. Beautiful evenings spent sitting on the porch watching the fireflies. An astounding view of the Milky Way. The home is warm and inviting and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Thank you.
