The Sea Glass Cottage offers an unforgettable Garden Isle vacation. This custom-designed Hawaiian style Cottage is located just steps from Poipu Beach. The 2-bedroom, 2 bath Sea Glass Cottage graciously combines the beauty and simplicity of a classic Hawaiian home with all the conveniences of the 21st century. The cottage melds seamlessly with the historic neighborhood and the adjacent ancient Hawaiian Village. Its airy and open island style mixes old Hawaii and modern luxury.

From the minute you walk in the door at the Sea Glass Cottage you will know you made the right decision. The cottage is beautifully furnished and very comfortable with its large Lanai and beautifully landscaped yard. It's definitely a welcomed treasure to the Poipu Beach area.

The home offers two master suites with large walk-in showers, plush king beds, ample closets, smart TVs and access to the double outdoor shower. Step out through the indoor shower to the outdoor shower to shower under the star filled Hawaiian sky. Come spend time on the spacious covered lanai, which opens up to the indoor spaces through a folding glass wall that allows the indoor and outdoor spaces to truly become one. Eat at the outdoor dining table and relax in the cool trade winds while catching a glimpse of our beautiful Hawaiian waters or watching the widescreen TV in the living room. The cottage’s gourmet kitchen is equipped with a gas range, Kitchen Aid appliances, granite countertops, open shelving and a Keurig for your favorite hot drinks. Enjoy the convenience of a full laundry, which includes a large capacity washer and dryer and a deep laundry room sink with ample countertop space.

Whether inside or outside, the cottage is designed to provide relaxation and comfort. Ceiling fans enhance the island trade winds in keeping the cottage cool. The abundant landscaping highlights the scents and beauty of Hawaiian plants. Just steps from Poipu Beach, guests begin the day watching the sunrise from the lanai while enjoying your morning cup of coffee, followed by a day of beach activities and ending the day with drinks on the lanai and steaks on the outdoor grill. All beach amenities including beach chairs, boogie boards, a cooler, a beach wagon and beach towels for your day at the beach are provided for your use.

This is the perfect place for two couples to stay for a beach trip to Kauai. Everything about this property was fantastic. The glass wall that separates the living room and front porch opens up to make the perfect indoor/outdoor place to hangout. The pictures of the property on VRBO don't do this property justice. As soon as we walked in, we knew this was going to exceed our expectations. VERY close to the beach. The decor was stunning, and the entire place was so clean and refreshed. The check in process was easy and clearly outlined in the instructions. There was one minor issue with the hot water system. We contacted the host and we had a response in less than 10 minutes. They helped us troubleshoot the issue and everything was back to 100% working order in a few minutes. I location was quiet (except for the roosters that freely roam the entire island...so no fault of the owners at all.) I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If ever I am back on Kaua'i, I would GLADLY stay here.

Still unpacking, but we won’t be quick to put away the wonderful memories of our trip to Kauai. The island is truly a magical place but what makes it even more special to our family is having Sea Glass Cottage as a reliably lovely home base while there. The thoughtful attention to details including quality kitchen materials and comfortable bedding all help to make sure we can relax and enjoy our time as a family. Already looking forward to our next visit!

We all loved this home, the location, and all it had to offer. Such attention to detail in the building and decor. Very much my personal style, and the kitchen made me feel right at home. Some places have very few kitchen items, This is fully stocked. The outdoor shower was a favorite. I loved front porch, specifically the rocker. We great enjoyed the yard box full of beach chairs, a cart, and a cooler in the pantry. The homeowners are fabulous. We were in touch when I noticed a landscape sprinkler issue, and they contacted me when we left items in the dryer and were kind enough to ship it to us. Thank you for everything. I highly recommend this home.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The property is exactly as described - a quiet spot very close to Poipu beach. It was so nice to be able to stroll back from the beach when we wanted to get some shade/relief from the sun - seeing other folks heading to the parking lot toting everything for a day at the beach, knowing we were right there was perfect. The access to town, distance from the airport, etc, was just right - and being able to walk to Kalapaki Joe's was a nice break from traveling by car everywhere else on the islands. We'll be back, and until then, I'll be thinking about showering under the stars after beautiful sunsets.... sleeping peacefully in B&T's beautiful house, until those Kauai roosters wake me up to enjoy it all again.

I can't say enough about this property. It's one of the nicest rentals we've ever had. The design and layout of the cottage is perfect for 2 couples. The exterior patio was perfect for sitting outside and catching the ocean breezes. The house was outfitted with everything we needed - kitchen was better equipped than my own! Best part of all is the location. Just a 2 min walk to two beaches and walking distance to several restaurants, plus a great home for exploring the entire island. Top notch in every way.

Love this property and PoiPu beach so much. Great area for families, not too crowded even during the peak season. The house is amazing. Three minute walk from door step to “toes in the ocean”. Couldn’t ask for a better location. The house is well stocked with anything you’ll need for your stay. We’ll come back again. Thanks for a great stay.

My wife and I, along with another couple, stayed in the cottage for 5 nights. The cottage is in a fantastic location, less than a block from Brennecke’s Beach. Very comfortable and well equipped for two couples. We especially liked the front porch. It’s open air, but covered to protect from rain. It’s a great place to hang out during breakfast or after dinner. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in an idyllic location.

Fantastic property including location, amenities, neighbors, birds and chickens! The bedrooms and baths were comfortable and relaxing, sleeping was wonderful. The kitchen had every tool and utensil needed for making everything including BBQing. For us, whether it rained or not, the highlight was the veranda/lanai area where we ate all our meals and read books and visited, while listening to the ocean! A truly wonderful place that we want to visit again!

I love this house! This was my second time staying at this house, and it is still my favorite place to stay in Kauai (and probably my favorite house I've ever stayed at). The two bedrooms and bathrooms are nearly identical, so it is perfect for two couples (no need to fight over the better room). We love the outdoor showers, which connect to the indoor showers (!!). During this second visit, I realized how much I love how the hardwood floors feel under my feet. The lanai is perfect for eating any meals. We love the kitchen and laundry room too. Every detail of this house is wonderful. Poipu Beach is just a block away, and the beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon at the house were great to have. We loved going for morning walks around Poipu and then heading to Little Fish to eat breakfast on the lanai before a day of activities. Also, shout out to their cleaners, because this is the cleanest place I've ever stayed in (house or hotel).

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Sea Glass Cottage. It had everything we needed - from a well equipped kitchen to great beach accessories. The cottage is clean, well maintained and designed, with lots of attention to detail, and is perfectly located just a block from the beach and a short walk for shave ice every evening. The lanai was a perfect place to relax at anytime during the day or evening. The outdoor showers were a great addition and perfect for a rinse after a day in the ocean. We would love to return!

This was our second trip to Kauai and the cottage was perfection. Such a beautiful home and so clean! Also, I didn’t think we would use the sliding glass doors because I am not a fan of bugs. Turns out if we were there during the day, that door was wise open and not a bug to be seen! We loved our stay. Thank you.

We were very happy with the property and location. Also having the beach gear and towels available was very convenient. Quiet neighborhood and front porch area was perfect for diner or just hanging out. We saw turtles and monk seals almost every day at Poipu Beach and the restaurants in the area are fantastic along with a cute Asian market in the town of Koloa to get groceries, along with very cute gift shops.

We would have loved to stay here again next year but the calendar is already full for our dates next year. This home is charming and so perfect for 2 couples. Everything you could possibly think of needing on vacation, this house has it. It’s beautifully decorated, comfortable and is in a perfect location for daily excursions, morning sunrises with a cup of coffee, and evening turtle watching. I like to cook, and this kitchen had everything I needed for every meal. Our family will be eager to return!

We brought my parents to Kauai (in their late 70s). This was a very comfortable home for all of us and very convenient to the beach, sea life, restaurants, and other sites. The amenities provided are perfect for beach days. The accordion doors are on point for evening games, dinner, or reading.

Place lives up to its pictures. Perfect place for 2 couples. 3 houses from the beach. The sliding glass doors were open the whole time to give you a perfect indoor/outdoor living space. Bedrooms are great. Kitchen has everything thing you need. Highly recommend to everyone.

We had the pleasure of enjoying The Sea Glass House for a one week in October with our close friends. This house exceeded all our expectations: it's modern, conveniently located near the beach, and impeccably designed. The enchanting outdoor space was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and served as our gathering place to plan our day's adventures. Moreover, the kitchen had everything you need and even more, making it a joy to prepare meals together. Everything in this house was very well thought out for convenience and pleasure! We're already in the process of making plans to return to this wonderful retreat one day. We enjoyed The Sea Glass House for a short get-away with longtime friends. The house was everything we hoped for: modern, close to the beach, designed beautifully such that 4 adults all had plenty of space. The wifi- was good and needed as, let’s face it, a few work emails crept in. The show stopper was the lanai and window wall! This wonderful outdoor space was perfect for a morning cup of coffee and hangout space to gather and plan the day. We are making plans to return! LOCATION, LOCATION. This modern standalone one-story house is only a block from Poipu Beach. We enjoyed observing the Hawaiian turtles coming onto the beach and resting from dusk to dawn. We also observed Monk Seals lounging during the day on the beach. It was a popular snorkeling area in the protected bay. Popular Brennecke's and Puka Dog are across from the beach. The property is stocked with a beach wagon and beach chairs and towels. GREAT FLOOR PLAN. The floor plan was perfect for two adult couples with 2 king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Each bathroom has a walk-in shower that also has direct access to a private outdoor shower to conveniently wash off sand and sea. The bedrooms each have window air conditioners and ceiling fans that we turned on at night and they quickly cooled the sleeping areas. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware, plastic containers and the pantry also was well stocked with condiments, plastic wrap and aluminum foil, etc. We used the propane grill and a spare tank in kept on premises. When not exploring the island, we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening refreshments lounging on the large lanai which always had a nice breeze. We enjoyed our meals "at home" on the lanai dining area. We had one incident where a smoke detector alarm went off and the local property manager was quick to install a new battery. This is a lovely place and I highly recommend it for a group of four.
