Welcome, take advantage of the Fall discount! Large home for weekend getaways! Casa Monte, Located in a lovely scenic area just a touch South of San Luis Obispo, a little North of Pismo and Shell Beach, and a little East of Avila Beach is this lovely vacation destination home. Residence is a custom luxury estate on 8.6 acres with approximately 3600 s.f. This custom built home has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Gourmet kitchen features professional grade appliances which include two ovens, warming drawer, wall mounted over-the-stove faucet, large center island with prep sink and large pantry. Other interior features include open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, three fireplaces, wood floors in common areas, bathrooms w/ Limestone and Travertine floors and Marble countertops, surround sound system with two zone controlling and central air conditioning. Outdoors you'll find a top of the line built-in kitchen with Santa Maria style rotisserie grill with gas starter, (with oak wood), gas grill, small refrigerator, bar with chairs, work areas, sink and warming drawer. Other outdoor amenities include a glass rock fire pit, lots of seating, Jacuzzi-style spa, large grassy areas, sand pit for practice with your sand wedge or...and beautiful lighting for evening entertainment.

We were very happy with this property for a long weekend with our kids and grandkids. There was nothing lacking regarding kitchen supplies and the property information online is accurate and actually exceeded our expectations!

We settled in very quickly as we all knew who was getting which room. Very spacious property and perfectly fitted the needs of each family. Though we did not do a lot of cooking, we did not lack for any dishes, utensils, etc. We even found spices available to us. The large grass area was perfect for our family baseball games, lawn games and even for practicing gymnastics. The home is fairly secluded so no noisy neighbors yet easily accessible to the freeway and other neighboring areas. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and felt that we picked just the right property.

This house was perfect for our gathering. So spacious and stocked with everything we needed. My daughter and her bridesmaids got ready for wedding and so much room to do everything. So appreciative of the manager letting us have an early check in and late check out. It helped tremendously. The rooms were spacious and all beds and bedding very comfortable.

We had an absolutely delightful stay in San Luis Obispo! This home exceeded all expectations - a beautiful setting and easy access to town, the beach, and more. We were a group of eight seniors, celebrating wedding anniversaries. We had hoped for comfortable furniture and a lovely, well equipped kitchen, and this beautiful home was very comfortable and spacious. I love a well-equipped kitchen, and this had almost everything we had hoped to find. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home!

We get together as a family every year to remember our son who passed away 15 years ago. This is one of the nicest home we have rented. Love how close it is to the beach and SLO. Open floor plan. Well stocked kitchen. Loved cooking steaks on the wood grill. Only negative was we wished there was more shade in the back patio as it got hot in the afternoon.

Our large 3 generation group had plenty of room for everyone in this spacious house. The location was convenient however there is considerable noise from the freeway that somewhat diminished our enjoyment of the yard. Also the patio needs some shade umbrellas on the furniture, it was rather difficult to sit out there in the sunny afternoons. We were pleased with the layout of the kitchen, high end appliances, etc., however there were no dishes for kids, only glasses, etc. I would also suggest the management provide some yard games and beach gear which is standard for rentals like this. The house was clean however the windows were filthy, suggest a service be engaged for regular cleaning? The wifi was not working at first, however a phone call to the management helped us fix it. Overall the house has great features but there is room for improvement.

My Family stayed at this Home while in town for a Wedding in Avila Beach. The location is perfect. The Home is close to the 101, making it a Close drive to the Airport, SLO, Avila Beach, and Pismo Beach. The Home is as beautiful as the pictures show. The backyard was a popular spot, with great views and plenty of seating. The fire pit and hot tub were nice features. The house has everything you would need. A pleasant surprise was 2 sets of washers and dryers and an extra fridge in garage. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need for cooking. We are all looking forward to come back to this home and spending more time exploring the area.

We had a wonderful weekend with 10 women who get together for an annual trip each year. This home was large with plenty of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms for all of us. Home is comfortable, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking, playing and relaxing. The outdoor kitchen and yard are fabulous! We will definitely stay again.

Wow! What a beautiful home and property. The house is well appointed, very comfortable and extremely well kept. Private and quiet location. Enough room for multiple families to have their space. We enjoyed mornings and evenings in the backyard in the hot tub or sitting around the gas fire pit. The kitchen and dining areas make it easy to enjoy meals at home with enough seating for everyone. Honestly, one of the best houses we have stayed in.

Lovely home with very well-appointed kitchen and outdoor grilling/kitchen/seating area, and plenty of space and privacy for guests staying there. Our family of 10 (9 adults and one 11 month old) found the house to be very comfortable. Note: if you have an infant/toddler, you'll need to bring a pack and play/something for them to sleep in.
The weather was pretty awful - it was quite chilly and rained most days - so we weren't outdoors at the firepit and grill as much as we typically would have been, but the times we did go out, we enjoyed it very much. The hot tub was lovely. We really enjoyed the gas-assisted wood-burning fireplace in the family room. The outdoor spit (also gas-assisted) and grill were wonderful.
Cindy is a great property manager~ very fast and informative responses. Wonderful location - easy to get to nearby Avila Beach or SLO, or to head up the coast to San Simeon. The bottle of wine and welcome note were a nice touch.

This home is perfect inside and out. Lots of space to spread out and have privacy but big spacious Areas to be together! Spectacular views, comfortable sleeping and seating areas! This far exceeded our expectations!! Would definitely visit again!

A lovely house in a lovely location. We were too busy to use all the amenities (like the hot tub) but it looked perfect for relaxing under the stars. The adult men loved the basketball hoop and the barbecue grill. All in all, we would stay there another time.

We rented this property to house extended family visiting town for my daughter’s wedding and the house was perfect for hosting a large family! Clean, well equipped with cookware, linens, and so much more! The house was great for gathering on the gorgeous outdoor space. All furniture was clean, comfortable and allowing for ample seating for all guests! The pictures don’t do this house justice. We would definitely rent here again!

The kids had a huge lawn area to play. We played croquet and still had lawn space for our granddaughter to run and play bubbles, ball. Our 22 month old granddaughter loves Trash Truck. So thank you very muh for having Netflix. My 10 year old grandson was looking for bugs and lizzards during the time we were home. In the evening we enjoyed the hot tub , roasting marshmellows in the bbq pit.Also sitting by the fire pit with a glass of wine with plenty of seating for our family of 9.We enjoyed our time there and will be back again next year.Thank you

This is a beautiful home in a great location, just across the highway from Avila Beach and close to many wineries and trails. Our family of three stayed here with another family of four over Thanksgiving weekend and had a wonderful experience. The property manager was quick to respond to any inquiries. The house was immaculate and very well appointed with nice linens and everything we needed in the kitchen. Great vacation home.
